Found ourselves back in Lebanon and decided to give this place a second try. The service was about average. We were initially seated outside, but when a light rain started, we moved to the bar area to finish our meal. I ordered the chicken fried chicken again, this time with steamed broccoli. The meal was very good, and the broccoli was cooked just right. The only downside was that the white gravy was quite lumpy, but it really didn't bother me. Overall, it was a better experience than our first visit, and we'll most likely be back again. read more

We absolutely love Aubrey's. Every server we had been fantastic. I wish I can remember all their names, put a shout out to each and every one of them and great job to the management team and trainers. We even took my daughter and her best friend here while they were visiting from Florida and they fell in love with Aubrey is also so much that they wanted to go every night they were in town. Aubrey's is easily one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always fantastic, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the portions are huge, you definitely get your money's worth. I recently had bariatric surgery, and I've eaten here twice since then. Both times they were more than happy to accommodate my needs without any hesitation, which I really appreciated. It's not always easy dining out after surgery, so having a restaurant that is understanding and willing to help makes all the difference. Great food, great people, and great service every time. First time at Aubrey's, and I must say it was a great experience. Dining at a newer restaurant on a Saturday night, I fully expected a long wait. When we arrived, several people were standing in the entryway, making it a bit difficult to reach the hostess desk, but that was more due to customers blocking the entrance, not the staff. After checking in, I was told the wait would be about 40 minutes for a party of four. I was given a buzzer and waited in the car. Surprisingly, only 15 minutes later we were notified that our table was ready. Once seated, we were quickly greeted by our waitress, who took our drink order. While the drink menu was limited to beer and wine, she was able to verbally explain some specialty drink options. She returned promptly with our drinks and took our food order. The menu was somewhat limited, but understandably so, everything we ordered was excellent. Each of us ordered something different, and there were no complaints across the table. The steaks were well flavored and tender. The fish was hot and fresh as well. The dessert was the best way to end a great meal. read more

There are daily drink specials. Gripe: When full, the restaurant is loud because of the glass and hard surroundings. Bought the Hawaiian Ribeye and also a Cheddar Burger today for pickup. My daughter said the Cheddar Burger and Fries were delicious. Now the reason for only 3 stars. The Hawaiian Ribeye was terrible. No Hawaiian flavor at all. Seems that my steak was not marinated properly and had a weird taste. Definitely was not worth the $40.00 that was paid for it. I could only eat half of it because of the taste. My other daughter got one a week before and she said hers was delicious. So something was definitely wrong with mine. I got fries with it and those were the only thing that was good about my meal. read more

Came here for Monday lunch to a fairly new place in Lebanon!! Its definitely an American Southern food place! This is a huge spacious loud place!! Nice clean environment but first things first that comes to mind is this place probably has quite a huge overhead to operate! Has a country kitchen field! The food is pricier than normal but the portions are big that justifies the cost! Ordered grilled Tuna & fish chips took a little bit longer than expected but it was excellent!! We went for a weekday mid afternoon late lunch. I had the cheddar burger, which I was able to order rare (unlike so many other restaurants these days.) It was char-broiled, properly cooked and excellent. We both had a side salad which was massive, fresh and delicious. She had a baked potato which was very tasty. The thing you notice here is the attention to fine detail. My mac & cheese side was cooked fresh to order and served in a separate dish. The salad dressings are homemade and phenomenal. They don't just refill your drinks; they get you another one. The service is prompt and polite. Overall a very pleasant dining experience. We will surely be back! read more

6 ounce fillet and ribeye steak cooked to perfection. We chose french fries which appear seasoned and were nice and crispy on the outside. There was a generous amount of celery salt on the meat leading to an initial salty impression but once you chew it, it's not so terribly salty anymore. Our plates were warmer than ambient air, but not especially warmed enough to keep fries hot. We arrived at 4 PM, and by the time the group was finished, there was a line waiting out the door and along the side of the building to get in. Parking lot is large and accommodating. We saw a travel trailer, parked way in the back. This is our first visit to this restaurant, we are not from Tennessee. We were here with a significantly large group. The waiters were very friendly and smiling. There were a few order mishaps, one couple did not get their salads, and the salads came after the entrées were served, etc. Probably not unusual for a very large group. They have a full bar, even though they don't have a menu for the full bar. It is a bit difficult to hear when the restaurant is full, and it was fairly full when we were there. We love Aubrey's! We have always had a good experience when visiting this location. Service is friendly and the menu has something for everyone. I love the soups and the many vegetable sides. The salads are some of the best we have had, and the potato "chip" appetizer is absolutely delicious. On our most recent visit I had the Boston scrod with parmesan spinach. The fish was flaky and the Ritz topping was buttery and delicious. The spinach was a great side. My husband raved about his potato soup, too. This is a great place for a family dinner or a gathering with friends. We look forward to visiting Aubrey's again soon. read more

My family dined at Aubrey's tonight and was disgusted by a staff member in the kitchen that was playing with her hair constantly and then handling food and passing plates to servers. We made the floor manager aware. He appeared to speak with her but was laughing in the kitchen. Not sure how seriously we were taken. He did offer to discount our food. Please do better with training staff on hygiene and sanitation around food. read more

Unfortunately, a disappointing event happened. There were about 5 open outdoor patio tables at the time. After ordering our drinks we noticed ants crawling on the table top and moved ourselves to the next table and respectfully notifying the staff of our move. Regrettably, the second table also had ants, moved to another and another, they all had ants crawling on them. I even advised new patrons of the issue and they left to go inside to eat. I also took a table inside to eat. After dinner, I asked to speak with a manager. While management was already aware of the ant incident, he offered no heartfelt sympathetic response for the inconvenience and acted very casually about the situation. We received absolutely nothing to make us feel better about the disruption to our evening. This is certainly not what I expected from Aubrey's management. I also notified Aubrey's Corporate office twice about this event and never received a response. I guess they just don't care. read more

Had to validate the buzz about Aubrey's, this new place in Lebanon. And it was all that and more. Great atmosphere, attentive service and great food. Went with a couple of buddies for lunch and it was hopping. Open floor concept for main dining, nice outdoor seating and a full service bar area makes it a great place for any size party including date night. We all agreed the food was terrific and portion sizes plentiful. I had the Chicken Fingers platter, which is seven good size pieces on crispy fries and a side. I had the Cole Slaw, which was a creamy sauce version. A bit sweet due to the apples! J agreed it was good. J had the catfish - two large pieces and he said it was the best he has had in years. This from the man who always orders catfish if it is on the menu when we go out. S had the burger and loved it. Liked that it was big and cooked to order. Had the "thick potato chips" and while he expected some form of potato chips, was pleasantly surprised that they were hot and freshly cooked potato slices! He said they were awesome. Wow! Lebanon has needed a restaurant on this side of town and Aubrey's hits it out of the park. We started off with two beers and the thick cut potato chips. They're served fresh and hot with a side of this yummy garlic ranch dipping sauce. Then the hubby got a burger with waffle cut sweet potato fried that had a slight touch of cinnamon to elevate the flavor. I ordered the Caesar salad and chicken with mushroom fettuccine. The food all came out steaming hot. The ambiance is casual to upscale and regular restaurant volume. We meet Mickey the Manager - he was so nice and appreciative of us being there. We are at the bar and Cassie served us - she was great! The bill was reasonable and we cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend and high five and five stars from me, Aubrey's!!! read more

Passing through the area stopped at Aubrey's based upon the previous yelp reviews. I was sadly disappointed. The decor looks as though it hasn't been touched since the 70's. I had to ask for the table to be wiped off as it was so sticky, not a great start. I ordered from their "favorites" section of the menu, Hickory Chicken. The chicken was overcooked and dry, way too much salt, and the overpowering bbq sauce seemed like it was poured straight from the bottle. If this is one of their favorites I'm glad I never ordered a less popular option. The waitress came to the table to take the order and again to deliver the bill. We went for Fathers Day at 4:00 PM. Our waiter was very personable however he missed everything. We waited about 10 minutes before a drink order was placed. Then we waited 15 minutes for the drinks at which point we ordered our main course. In the meantime our drinks sat empty and we didn't get bread that we had requested. I guess to sum it up, everything we needed we had to ask for twice, and while our waiter was kind he had no clue how to serve. Maybe some retraining? read more

Had late lunch with a friend here. I got the grilled chicken strawberry salad Andy friend got the fried chicken. My salad was generous and fresh. Everything tasted amazing. I tried my friend's chicken and it reminded me of my great grandmas chicken in flavor. There are a still growing pains with the staff but they tried very hard and were super sweet! This restaurant just opened recently in Lebanon and we got a chance to go for lunch. We got there at 11:20 and it was already packed. We were able to get a booth right away. This is a Farm to Table restaurant using locally sourced ingredients from local farmers. They have fresh produce delivered daily. It's a half open kitchen with a full bar that is separated from the main dining area. They have wine by the glass or bottle. All of the food I saw was above average portions. They have daily specials. They also have umbrella covered outdoor seating. It's reasonably priced and the interior is clean and spacious. Above average noise level today but it was full of people. Overall we had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the food came out in about 20 minutes which is good when you see the size of this place. Lastly, they offer apps, soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, specialties, favorites, and pasta along with market vegetables and sides. Place is big & clean. Staff is friendly & warm. Food....eh. Hubby ordered fish & chips with sautéed mushrooms. Unfortunately, the mushrooms had an odd taste to them, so my husband did not care for them at all. I don't understand as you can saute mushrooms in butter and they are wonderful. He didn't see any special notes on the menu, so he was surprised. Fish was cooked well, but didn't have a lot of flavor...very plain taste despite being well coated with breading. After perusing the menu, I ordered a dinner salad. This artived with a big pile of potato sticks on top. If you don't know, potato sticks are potato chips cut into stick shapes. Why the hell would you put potato chips on top of a green salad??? After removing as many of the potato sticks I could off of the salad, I discovered it consisted of spring mix, cheese & diced cucumber. That's it. I am SO Bummed. Our waitress offered to add tomatoes to my salad, but I'll just take it home. A lead person visited at our table very concerned that we did not care for our food. He was very kind and tried his hardest to get us to order something else from the menu, but we declined as we needed to leave, as my husband's oxygen machine was out of power.....but they did not charge us for our meals!!! This surprised me. I was willing to pay for the food because I ordered it.... And I will say that that has changed my mind, and I will return once more to give it another shot. I like the bar area instead of the dining room which is a bit generic and usually loud. The bar is light with windows all around and high top tables. The food is generous and cooked to your preference with no problem. Cocktails are well mixed and bartenders are professional and friendly. Nice place! read more
