The only good thing on my smurf plate was the 6oz ribeye. Had nice flavor and wasn't shoe leather. The ribs were a bourbon hickory flavor and were so so bad. You could tell it was badly microwaved. It was tough and had a weird taste. I've ever wasted ribs before until this moment. I didn't even bother taking it home. The shrimp were eh kinda cold. Ugh this was truly disappointing. We ordered dinner thru Uber Eats. My partner ordered the 5 cheese steak sandwich with a bowl of broccoli cheese soup as her side(at a premium) The steak was woefully missing from the sandwich and the 5 cheeses were not what was advertised but all american slices. Her soup came in 1/2 of an 8 oz container. Adding insult to injury, UberEATS does not have a live person to talk to. Instead, they have an automated message in their app, which states basically, too bad for you. I highly recommend using other delivery apps and never ordering delivery from this restaurant. read more

The service was very good and the manager was very accommodating. My husband ordered a full rack of ribs and when he was served the portion looked extremely small. He inquired to the waitress and she checked with the manager who told her to get him another half-rack. She made a point to come to our table, and noticing my half eaten philly steak, asked me if everything was ok. I explained that the meat was VERY overcooked (it was supposed to be prime rib and it was charred beyond recognition). She gave us a very nice adjustment on our bill and let me know that she would check in with the kitchen staff about the steak on my sandwich. Dirty tables in the bar area, so perhaps they were bay earlier ? Don't know. The bartender brought food for two people sitting at the bar. She then turned around and asked another gentleman if he was ready to cash out, but never even looked at me. She cashed him out. Spun around again, and left at the bar. I haven't had any complaints about this place. The food I ordered was very good. And the bogo deals are fantastic. But some of the pictures that show how big of portions you get were misleading. Prices way up, quality way down. Had been going to Ruby Tuesday in Morgantown for years. Less more recently. They've been in a downhill slide for awhile now, but our visit yesterday will be our last. Sadly, this location has all the earmarks of a failing location. Sad to see the efforts of the wait staff undermined by the quality of the restaurant. We passed by Morgantown in our way coming back to Pittsburgh and we wanted to try this place since there is no "Ruby Tuesday" in our area, which turns to be a great idea. Came in to eat a little before 6pm on a Thursday. Was waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes with no one in sight except for a couple tables of customers and the salad bar stocker that came out twice. And saw us standing at the podium. Could he have said anything to a host about seating us? I'll never know. We left without being greeted or seated. The sign on the front of the store stated that they would be closing early because of kitchen upgrades or maintenance. What's the point of that if you can't even seat customers to eat!? 2 stars because I really wanted to try the queso burger and didn't look like a terrible menu (I've not had ruby Tuesday before). When we went to dinner here, the service was fantastic. Our servers name was Lindsey and she made sure we were well taken care of. She made sure our drinks were always full and made sure we had all of the extras for our food, like butter and sauces. I have a lot of food allergies and need a lot of modifications to my food. She made sure our food came out perfect the first time, and in timely manner. I will definitely be requesting to sit in Lindsey's section from now on when we come to eat. :) read more

Was traveling through the area to visit a friend and saw the shining sign for Ruby Tuesdays. I have always liked the restaurant chain and figured I'd be in for a treat. Little did I know it was better than expected. Our waitress Cara was Amazing! Such a wonderful personality and knew the menu very well. I had asked for a suggestion of the meaty type and she promptly described the Bourbon Steak!! I took her advice and was very pleased! The kind of flavors that need nothing added, no salt, pepper or steak sauce needed! Cara was very attentive and had my drink refilled before I even asked. That is a very big pet peeve of mine, having an empty glass in my mind is just unacceptable, and Cara must have been reading my mind! A very pleasant and warm smile every time she approached. Never batting an eye at anything we needed. The restaurant was clean and inviting and the food was above board. Everything about our visit was darn near perfect. I've always enjoyed the salad bar but last night was not a good one. And it's not like the place was extremely busy. Usually when I feel the need to write a bad review, it has more to do with service issues. The service during our recent visit to RT was okay, if a little absent and harried. No, this is about the food. I ordered a chicken and mushroom alfredo, and my wife had a steak. My wife requested her steak medium rare; her steak was bloody raw. She ate it because the waiter was nowhere to be found and we needed to eat and get back on the road. Hers, at least, was edible. My pasta came out with the chicken and mushrooms covered by the pasta, which was drowning in a brownish "alfredo" that had so much garlic in it that it was almost inedible. Garlic in a sauce should be a buttery, savory accent; this was so overpowering that it was bitter and bludgeoning. Not acceptable, and if we hadn't been pressed for time, I would have sent it away and had the salad bar. This is the second time I've had an unfortunate meal at RT in Morgantown. This used to be a favorite stop for a bit better than big box restaurant meal, but something has gone tragically wrong. There are a lot of choices in Morgantown for your dining dollars. I saw their ad for their limited time Cinco de Mayo specials and wanted to try one of the items. We were there for lunch when they opened. I noticed there was nothing on the menu about the specials or on the card that was on the table. I asked the server about the Cinco de Mayo specials and she went to check with the kitchen. I was completed surprised when she returned telling us their truck had not came in yet and they didn't have the items necessary to make them. Did someone move Cinco de Mayo? I can't understand a restaurant not ordering the supplies early enough to insure delivery in time for the holiday. I want to think there was a shortage of the ingredients and that's why they didn't have them. But after receiving our alternate meals, I'm leaning less that way. I ordered chicken with Asiago cheese, bacon, and Parmesan cheese along with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli tasted fine but wasn't drained well so the water ran into my sauce and potatoes. It couldn't hurt them. The potatoes were definitely not the ones they had been using and my chicken tasted like it was boiled and the bacon wasn't cooked either. There was no seasoning on the meal. Ny husband got the steak hoagie with the salad bar. The bun was very good and fresh. The sandwich might have been okay if it was half the size. The taste was good but the meat was sparse. He enjoyed the salad bar even though they only had potato salad and coleslaw in addition to Some green salad ingredients. When we left 45 minutes later, they were still filling in the salad bar. Never go there when they open. That time appears to only be the prep time. Noon is when they are ready to start serving the food, as it was. The only good thing was our server. So I went to Ruby Tuesday's with the intention of getting the salad bar and those awesome croutons but alas when I went there on a Sunday afternoon the salad bar was more than disappointing. The lettuce was all picked over and rather sad looking. Most of the potato salad looking items were all but empty. The olives were gross and did not taste good. And of course they were out croutons! When I asked the host if they had anymore he looked at me very oddly before replying "probably", it turns out there were no croutons in the whole restaurant. I gave two stars because my husband's steak wasn't too bad and my french fries were rather tasty. Overall I was disappointed because one of the reasons I went there was for the salad bar and it truly was disgusting and gross. read more
