My brother and I had a late lunch early dinner at Lonehorn Steakhouse in Morgantown after leaving our family at hospital after our nephew's Heart Surgery! My brother got a steakhouse burger w a salad and 1000 Dressing with a coke for his drink and I went with a Blackened Grilled Chicken club sandwich and a side of French Onion Soup and a Mr Pibb for the drink. I had to limit myself to only one piece of bread w butter or I wouldn't be able to eat my food! I love their bread!! The food was great, the waiter very nice but never offered soda refills but he did check on us once! My husband I went there for Valentine's Day 2026 we checked in. It was about a two hour wait we ran and did other things and came back long long. Long long line got checked in and waited a little while longer. The hostess was extremely pleasant on such a hectic busy day. The manager was amazing. He came around and talked to everyone that he could as he was running by helping our servers and other things going on on one of the busiest days of the year the server Alexander B was so sweet and kind friendly. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing overall 100% great experience on one of the busiest days of the year. I commend them the staff that cooks the bartenders everyone we're just making everything goes so smoothly. Went there for a birthday dinner just recently, party of 5. Service was okay, a bit slow and they forgot to bring out everyone's veggies that went with each meal. Steaks were cooked mostly good but oversalted and overpeppered, almost too spicy hot with too much pepper. The porterhouse was tendony sadly for the hiked up price of it. Got two of the same salads and one had no dressing on it and one was double drenched in dressing and couldn't be eaten. Soup came out lukewarm as if it had been sitting. Everything was oversalted and asparagus tasted as if it was soaked in salt water and couldn't eat it. $254 for oversalted not great food and sub par service. read more

Highly recommend this restaurant. My wife and I try to go here as much as we can, but that doesn't mean we are lucky enough for that to happen!. Have went here a couple times and has been pretty good BUTTTT I Went today and had bugs in my food. Kinda made me feel sick and not hungry(go figure) so I told the waiter and showed her and the disheveled manager came out to the table and started making jokes "so how did that salad look for ya" and laughing....smirking and being weird before she even talked. Completely weird and awkward. She didn't look like a manager she seemed like she did meth. Never have I had bugs in my food nor have I had management act this way towards a customer. Completely out of line and discourteous and I'm not one to complain but the level of unprofessionalism was at an all time high. Never introduced herself nor apologized or anything. She then proceeded to tell me my pregnant wife could have a box and my food could be exchanged for something else as if I was ready to eat something else from there or my wife was gonna sit there and eat while I felt sick and had bugs in my food. Let me start off by saying if "Steakhouse" is in your restaurant's name, you better nail the steak ..........period. The three of us ordered an app and drinks, the server started off very nice. There were three of us 1 ordered a 23 dollar steak, the other a 32 dollar steak but medium rare, and I ordered the parm crusted chicken w mashed potatoes. Both steaks came out well to burnt. It's amazing to me that a server can't see this, sure the burnt was not her fault but like stop it at the kitchen, don't wait for it to hit the table. On top of that I guess my chicken was sitting there getting cold while they were busy burning the steaks. The server disappeared for like 15-20 minutes before coming back- asked about the steaks that nobody touched and said "oh I'm sorry I'll take them off the check" so whatever then she asked about my chicken which it and the mash we're not even warm, and I felt bad for her to return everything, so I told her nicely I'm sorry but it came out cold. I also said that I'll take a Togo box (I only took one bite) and heat it up at home. So she comes back with the check, doesn't take the steak off but says she did. She took off an app and some family discount which didn't even add up to one steak. So BUYER BE WARE- crooks at that store. Read your receipt. So 40 minutes later she comes back and I said you didn't take off the steaks and she goes oh. Takes it back to the manager and fixed it. But what crooks, not only does the food suck, but the dishonesty in the server and manager is appalling. Wish I had their names to add Here. Steer clear of this crooked burnt steakhouse and the crooked people who work there. I'm would file a complaint with longhorn about the shady manager and server but I don't want som half baked apology and a gift card to eat there because I'd never go back. People who were seated after us received their meal, ate it, and left, and we still hadn't received our food. Honestly this place is one of the best atmospheric Steakhouses I've been too. It feels like you are at a Texas Style Steakhouse in apart of my state that doesn't get that often. Our waiter was amazing and the food was so delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection. I definitely recommend going here. Your usual longhorn steakhouse that is in most areas. Except this one was not good...like at all. The service was rushed and everyone's attitudes were very "I really wish I weren't here right now" and I know what it's like to work in food but the customer can feel this. The food was the worst part for me. Absolutely microwave grade at best and felt very very half assed. I asked for a rare sandwich as pictured and this was just too rare....I mean cmon. My wife ordered Parmesan crusted chicken and the crust was over burnt and lacked much flavor with its companion sauce. The macaroni was also very bland and lacked seasoning. Going out for a steak dinner isn't the easiest, mainly because it's difficult to get your meal cooked how you wanted it to be. And while, I didn't get it to my liking, everything else seemed okay. The service here was great. Our waiter was really attentive, constantly refilling our drinks, offering suggestions, and just making sure we were okay. We ordered the fried green tomatoes as an app that came on a bed of lettuce and with a spicy sauce on the side. Really tasty. The breading was quite crispy and delicious. For my meal I ordered an 8 ounce sirloin with a salad and Mexican corn. The corn was really good. The salad was good, but kind of a small portion. My steak came out well done when I asked for medium. I didn't say anything to the waiter because for the most part, I hate sending things back. They'd have to redo everything and to be honest, I didn't feel like waiting. While it was more well done than I like, it had a nice flavor to it so it wasn't a truly bad tasting steak- it could have used some A1 since it was lacking any blood from the steak. Would I come back again? Sure, it's one of those things where one day you might have it where it's not cooked right and the next time it will be. I have yet to be served a bad steak at Longhorns. It's possibly my favourite of the mainstream franchise steakhouses. The fact that they welcomed us with excellent service and smiles with 45min till close, made them even better. In our defence, we had been cramped on the road for at least 4hrs. I usually get the Outlaw Ribeye, medium, and I have to say that this was probably the best cut I've got from Longhorns, thus far. It seemed much more succulent, wirh less fat to cut off, and the right amount of their seasoning and Blood to soak my fries. And even with smaller time on the clock, our server handled us and the new 3 tables that walked in after with speed, charisma, and great attentiveness. read more

I wasn't keen on going to Longhorn Steakhouse but I was very pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was busy but not crowded. We were seated immediately and service was friendly and prompt throughout the entire meal. We ordered cocktails, upgraded salads, the sirloin, and NY strip. Total bill including tip was $80. The steak was A+. Very flavorful, tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. Having often dined at many upscale steak houses (Morton's, Ruth's Chris, Capital Grille, etc), this was an amazing meal for less than half the price. Highly recommend. read more

After driving 2,430 miles from San Diego and hearing about how classy and professional this establishment is, I can assure you that the biggest steak on this menu is the Mistake I made by coming here. The slab was served up with a big side order of verbal insults, which came at such a difficult time for my family and I, Tom Hanks had just died. After being relentlessly asked to complete the survey, the manager was too much of a coward to show himself in the dining room (despite the survey asking if a 'manager stopped by and checked on your table'). Overall the experience was par for the course and the odds are, if I'm ever in Morgantown again I'll be sure to stop in here for a few $2 flaming margaritas. I love going here because they have great food. Prime rib done medium rare with raw horseradish is definitely my go to meal to get here. I sometimes just wish it wasn't as popular as it was. There is almost always a wait. Try experimenting with the different locations to see which ones are the busiest. That being said, it's always worth that wait. Was told the wait would be 20 to 25 minutes, we should wait in our car, and they would text us when a table was ready. I asked if we could go to the bar area to wait, and the hostess said no. After sitting in the car for three minutes, we received the table-ready text...geesh! I ordered a NY Strip medium and it arrived medium-rare...I ate it. Same undercooking for another steak in our party. We ordered two draft beers, but only one arrived as the keg was now empty. The service was good, though. The food quality was good.
