The property was clean upon arrival. We were seated quickly on a Sunday after church. Our server Franki was amazing. Their delightful attitude and banter was exceptional. Great attention to the service of our table. Professionally dressed. The manager visited our table. They presented themselves professionally. The chicken was very crispy and not oily. The fries were cut to decent proportions and seasoned nice. The twisted mozzarella was new to me. It was fried just right. It has the right amount of cheese. All the sauce they serve is delicious. The rattle snake bites were not spicy. I love heat, however; I also love that I could taste the jalapeño. The baked potato and steak at another table looked amazing too. This location looked to be at max capacity and still seemed calm. It was operated smoothly. The staff looked their best. The facility was clean. The food was great. Let's just say the previous reviews were close to being correct but we were in the area and wanted to go to the Roadhouse at the request of my daughter. The overall ambiance was as usual, nothing outstanding, but nothing bad standing out. Usual rush of staff needing to get by you when waiting for your table with only the hostesses acknowledging your presence. The place was clean and bathrooms were ok, again no wow factor, just ok. The biggest issue was the waitress forgetting to put our order in, but telling us at that it would be up shortly. After about 30 minutes she came by to tell us she forgot to put our order in, and that our meal would be comped due to the error. So, before our food arrives she comes back to the table and tells us we can have $25 taken off the order or should I tell "them" they need to up their game. I tell her to do what ever she could do. She then came back with a $10 gift card that we could use then or at a later time. The mistake was offering a free meal on missed service and forgetting the order then coming back to say, "sorry" I can go ask to do better. By the time the food arrived it was still to be decided so we started on the meal. My daughter's shrimp platter was very good and my wife's steak was good and cooked to her specific doneness but the fried fish I received as you can see from the picture was more like battered and fried fish skins. No depth of flavor , chewy, and not worth the price, whether it was free, discounted or using a coupon to get a discount taken off. The place was a disappointment and the manager on duty never arrived at the table to help or check on us after all was said and done. Got steak and ribs. salad was good. steak was a bit overcooked but not ruined. Ribs were warm on the outside and cool inside. Baked potato wasn't bad though a bit salty. About 2/3 of the way through the meal the music was turned up to a volume that was far beyond tolerable. it did get turned back down after a couple of minutes. felt like there was no manger on duty. everything was haphazard and chaotic. only saving grace was our waiter (Drew). absolutely fantastic. basically saved this from a one star review. at 70$ for two meals i expected better. don't believe i will bother going here again. read more

We stopped here on our way to Deep Creek and i'm so glad we did! Our waiter Wes was great! He came to the table the perfect amount to check on us and always made sure my water was full and i'm a fish when it comes to water. Also the food was wonderful! Instead, the host refused to seat us until our third guest arrived--even though the restaurant was practically empty. My man is on crutches, and still there was zero consideration. Multiple parties walked out while we stood there, all because of this ridiculous policy. The host didn't even know if our third guest was planning to eat--we may have just wanted drinks. So I LOVE Texas Roadhouse, been my fav place for years now and this experience may not alter my love for the franchise HOWEVER, this might just make me never return to the Morgantown location. I am a server so I let a lot of things slide, however me and my finance came into Texas Roadhouse for a late night dinner and we waited 25 minutes to be greeted... yikes but, I let it go!! I get it!! Our servers name was Nate and from the jump he seemed very annoyed and non caring, rushing us and not even repeating the orders back to us just writing. He may have said a total of maybe 5 WORDS when he took our order. Okay whatever maybe he's had a hard day? Welp we don't see him again till the end. We saw our food runner more. Never asked how our food was, we had to ask the runner for bread, napkins, refills. Then the one time I do catch Mr NATE for a sweet tea he comes back with it and slams it on the table! I'm done at this point and just frustrated. I get hard days but that's never an excuse to make people miserable that are trying to eat and tip you! We always leave atleast 20 for a server but this time that changed. As a server I work very hard for my money. Service= tip. Anyways maybe someone in TXRH needs to retrain Mr Nate! read more

Had lunch today at Texas Roadhouse. The first basket of rolls were overbaked and tough. My salad had so much brown and actually decayed lettuce that I requested a new one. I had the herb roasted chicken that was so tough that I really had a hard time cutting it. I didn't send it back because by this time I had lost my appetite. My granddaughters chicken strips were so over cooked and dry that she just took a couple bites and pushed them away, didn't bother to bring them home for leftovers. The manager did replace my salad with a new one but by the time I got it, my meal had been brought to the table. read more

Staff is always friendly at this location and the atmosphere is your typical Texas Roadhouse. My complaints here is that the food is typically extremely inconsistent. I've sent several steaks back for being under or over cooked. Though staff is always fast to make it right it is extremely inconvenient to wait for new food while everyone else is eating. This was my last dinner with my son and his beautiful family while visiting in West Virginia for the holidays. My son picked out an 11 Oz sirloin and I went for the gold, and ordered a 23 Oz Porterhouse! It came out perfectly cooked to order. It was juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned. It's the kind of steak you definitely don't want to ruin with steak sauce (A-1 being my favorite). I almost finished it but I couldn't help but eat two of those fresh from the oven honey buttered rolls. I didn't finish my sides which was a soft and fluffy loaded baked potato and broccoli and carrots because I was focused on that Porterhouse. This was my first visit to Texas since they moved to the new location. I believe they need to replace/train the management at this location. I arrived at 4:30 pm with my family of six. The hostess seated us and then the waiter took our drink order and gave us a basket with four rolls and butter. When he came back with our drink order I asked if he would please give us enough rolls for every one. He apologized and said yes. I ordered a gin and tonic and an ice water. When I took a drink it was tonic and no gin at al. I told our server when he came back that the bar tender left the gin out. He apologized again and got a manager. When she came back she explained that they only put 1 oz of alcohol in drinks. I told her that there was nothing but tonic water in this drink she said she could take the drink and put an oz in but she would have to charge me for a double. I told her she is not charging me for a double because they didn't put the first oz in it I said take the tonic and I would not pay for the drink. Then the server brought salad all but one for my son and left. After the rest of us were almost finished eating our salad we had to flag our server down to get him to bring the other salad for my son. Then they brought our meals. Everyone had good cuts of meat except me. I order a sirloin. My steak was over cooked and not medium rare like I ordered. I didn't mind that it was over cooked but it was tuff and I was unable to eat it. I wasn't going to complain about it until the waiter asked how was our meal so I told hi. He went and got dif manager and they came over and said they would make another one if I wanted. I said no because everyone had finished their meals and were ready to go. I said no thanks. They offered to make a new one I could take out. I told them no because reheated steak was not good in my opinion so they just removed it from my bill. My bartender would take my order and then not remember it and she would have to ask me at least three times what I ordered. I also have to add that I asked for togo cups and was given them and instead of telling me I can't pour my drink in there she told 5 different people to then say something to me after taking the $20 tip off a $30 check. If I couldn't transport my drink, absolutely no problem, but don't give me the cup and then get your boss to say something. This is our favorite location for the Texas Roadhouse. This past Sunday we had our usual great experience here. Food came out hot and fresh. The rolls were spot on. The best part was our waiter Hanna. My husband and I both remarked we think she is the best waitress we have ever had anywhere. She anticipated every need, drink done.... Here she was with a fresh one. She was checking on us but never hovering. She knew the menu options and everything came out as ordered. She was terrific, just the right amount of attention for a great experience. The Texas Roadhouse is a bustling place with the music playing, we don't mind this. Level was perfect for chatting. We were there slightly before noon, it was perfect. By the time we left there was a wait list and parking lot was full. My husband and I went to have lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was extremely busy. People were waiting everywhere. I asked the hostess how long the wait would be for 2 people and she said 5-10 min so we decided to wait. She told us to wait in the waiting area. After only about 5 min I received two texts telling us to come to the hostess stand to be seated. We went and she told us to take another seat. I thought maybe I read the text wrong so I asked why we got a text if they weren't ready for us. She said in a very short tone "because they had to wait for a seater to take us to a table." Ah, yes, the food... So I came here with my family recently and luckily we were seated immediately which I feel like never happens. Where are the peanut shells all over the ground? They clean up here! We were seated and immediately getting our drinks ordered. Few minutes later our food orders. I got the smothered chicken, sides: salad and baked potato and a bowl of potato soup- regretting getting so much potato but thats on me, not them. My soup came out immediately and was huge bowl filled with chucks of potato, cheese and bacon. Hot and delicious (like me - jk). Refills of drinks and bread were flowing. Where's the food? After a little bit of what I would call, too long to wait, it finally arrived. The smothered chicken was really good. Large chicken breast with cheese big mushrooms and onions. The baked potato was alright. Didn't hold a candle to the chicken, but I didn't think it would considering I ate so much potato in the soup already. Our server was great, even though she seemed a little slammed at the time. It would have been nice to know why the food took so long but we weren't neglected at all and the food was hot and tasted fine which is what matters at the end of the day. This was my second visit to Texas Roadhouse franchises. My friend and I order two, bone in ribeyes. Our server were great and the sides are fine. The complimentary bread was a bit doughy, compared to our last experience. When the steaks arrived the waitress asked us to cut in to the steak to check the doneness. Both my friend and I asked for medium rare, but what we received was raw. So I ask for it to be cooked more, yet again it came back raw. I don't understand what was wrong with the chef. I typically really enjoy Texas Roadhouse. This was my first time visiting this location. The service was great. We had no wait to be seated, our order was taken right after we sat down, and the waiter was friendly and clear. However, as I went to grab my silverware to spread the butter on my rolls I noticed there was some old cheese stuck to my knife. Additionally, the rolls were hard and cold, you could tell they had been setting out a while before we arrived. This is the first issue I've had with Texas Roadhouse, though this was my first time visiting this particular location. In the end all of the mistakes were corrected appropriately and the entrees were delivered as requested.
