Radhee has been doing my eyebrows for months. She's super fast and she listens to what I want. I like her because she has been the only one in this area who has done a decent job. However there's a new young girl now (Libby?) and I was hesitant to let her try on my brows. But I've gone to her twice now and I actually LOVE my eyebrows. She is really helping me work towards the full brows that I want. She takes about 20 min to do just the brows though, and now there's a wait (whereas before there wasn't since Radhee was so fast). My only recommendation is that they have a sign in sheet so it runs more smoothly. I called first and they said there wasn't a wait, and when I got there 5 min later I had to wait like 20 min for her to finish, and it took her 20 to finish my brow and lip. If I could rate a zero I would. Alma will get you blonde as requested but there's a price to pay. I spent over 7 hours at the salon $300+ dollars and my hair is fried. The biggest mistake of my life. My cousin visiting from Australia went in for brows today and she paid over $30. That is way too much for brows!

Close to my home. First time i went she did a good job, 3rd time she did a half ass job, left my grays showing and hilites not all the way down to the roots, very noticeable. One lady who cut hair, Rosa, always took time taking care of the clients no longer there.. Was recommended here by a friend, and I cannot express how happy I am that she told me about this salon. My hair was super brassy and patchy so I was nervous there wouldn't be much they could do for it. I went in for a blonde balayage and had ruby doing my hair. She was exceptional, friendly and reassured me she would do her best to meet the inspiration photo I showed her. Not only did she meet my expectations, she went way above and beyond. After looking at the reviews and pictures here on yelp I went in asking for a balayage and showed the hair dresser (I believe her name was Alma) a photo of what I wanted (the photo was from one of the past clients here on there reviews ) told me she could do it , I spent nearly 5 hours just to be disappointed. This looks nothing like what I wanted , I'm so disappointed I waisted $ 150 on this and now I'm stuck with ugly hair I don't like. The hair dressers were nice I just wish they didn't mess up my hair. Does not blend at all and it's orange/yellow and white . Now not only did I waist $150 but now I'm going to have to go somewhere else to get this fixed ! read more

I really liked the salon, there were some bumps like showing up with an appointment and the young stylist was nowhere to be found, Luz took my son and she just did perfect. We went back the next day with an appointment (again) and to make things faster, Alma, the owner suggested to have my daughter go to the young lady, and I could the haircut by Luz. I appreciate Luz for keeping her prices and this young lady charged me more (over the phone she said a different price) and it's really not about adding a dollar or two, it's about the action, so there's the reason for the four stars. Recently relocated to Gilroy and went to an old spot I knew for root touch up, but they are now under new management. I really didn't feel comfortable with the new gals so I opted to step out and Yelp! Came here without an appointment after reading the reviews, walked in and was welcomed immediately. Asked for the next availability and was grateful they were able to get my roots done right there and then. All the Gals there are amazing! Paid $55 plus tip for roots, trim and style. Radhee is out of the country until December. So until then, expect to pay even if you prepaid for the membership & expect 15 min for eyebrow vs the usual 5 min eye threading. Despite being new at this and taking much longer, she did GREAT with my brows! Thank you. Let's just give her some time, she's new at this! read more

I was in need of a touch up & the last salon I went to had to cancel my appointment, which was ok because I wasn't in love with what was done. So I decided to call around looking for a salon in Gilroy. When I called Ruby's the lady who answered the phone was very friendly (Rosa) and she asked me if I wanted to come in that day. Excellent service here. I stopped in during my trip to the Bay Area and were very clean and made my eye brows look amazing! It's hard to find good places that don't mess up your eye brows so I would defiantly recommend stopping here to get them done. read more
