I love Ruby's tacos! I came here by complete accident, after our skydiving slot got pushed back due to rain. We got our tacos and went to the brewery nearby and enjoyed a great meal with great friends. There were about 15 of us that ordered and ate from Ruby's that day and we all raved about our tacos. They were the closest thing to Rio Grande valley tacos I've have had in Houston. I got my standard Al pastor, barbacoa and chicharron and I could not have been happier. We also got a bottle of her green sauce to bring back home with us and top our breakfast tacos with. If you want to know how much we loved their tacos- to this day, several of my friends tell me every month that they seriously consider making the 40 min drive to Ruby's to get tacos, whenever they're craving tacos. Prices are higher than in photos of menu, owners could post them instead of leaving it to patrons photos. Food was good but not exceptional. No complaints other than price posting. Also if its hot don't plan on eating here, no relief. read more

This is a new taco truck in the Prairie View area. It's right next to a car repair shop when you go towards Brookside. The service was great and all of the staff was really nice. I originally wanted a lingua (cow tongue) taco, but they were out of it. The chicken and barbacoa tacos I got were still really great. The meat was also very tender. I got a cup of elote, which was made just right. My two tacos & 10 oz cup of elote came out to be $8.50, which is decent. I'm not really a food truck person, but my employees was raving about this food truck. Now you can tell this place has been there a long time. I went at 3am. Note she is 24/7. Which awesome for us late night ppl. I order two steak and two chicken tacos. And couple other items. Sat with the security guy and talked with him, As she made everything. The lady preparing my food was quiet but very nice too. Took items home, which I have 30 drive. Everything was still very warm cause she wrapped in aluminum foil. Other than a little bit greasy. The food was so good we wanted more. I recommend this 24/7 taco truck to everyone. read more

This place is excellent! The food is very tasty. The house sauce has a little kick to it. The food truck is open 24 hours. They have a clean bathroom and a nice area to sit and eat. Very fair prices and excellent service. Just a great place to grab some food. read more
