stopped in 3/19 around 2pm looking for a vape for CBD flower. the kid working was super knowledgeable and was able to explain all the different vapes to me. i went with the jump vape pen because i just wanted something small to hit every now and then. plus it's hella cute. i also grabbed a "juul" type nicotine jawn cause the flavor sounded awesome & it is sure. i wanted to grab some CBD treats for my dog and he gave me a sample to try before committing to the product, which i always appreciate cause sometimes my dog doesn't enjoy things and i spend mad money on him. this store front is huge & beautiful - the entire place is a work of art in itself. there is so much to look at. will be back. read more

Old City has been in need of an eclectic new gallery for awhile now. Fortunately Ruckus has arrived inside the space that used to house the original AKA Music, and it delivers an impressive multi-use facility that's equal parts art gallery, vape lounge, clothing/jewelry store, and head shop. Ruckus made full use of the original music store interior by opening spaces for full display, converting the storage/office area into a store space, opening up what used to be the overcrowded vinyl section for their vape store, adding comfortable couches and information/wine booths, adding a video projection wall, and making full use of AKA's in store performance sound booth by turning it into a DJ music area. And whether you stop in to buy a pipe or shirt during the week, or you stop in for an art show, those elements shine throughout! Ruckus has big connections with a ton of leading glass blowers and street artists who have been doing some eclectic work. So as a result you'll see plenty of interesting urban art pieces on the wall, and be able to pick up shirts and more that emblazon similar art pieces. But the main event is definitely the main room of glass art which features robots, dragons, fish, weapons, cars, Bettie Page memorabilia, and then some all made into intricate glass pieces. Being that I've never been big on the vape craze, and haven't needed a pipe in ages, I can't really comment on both sections and the prices. But I can say that both areas have a fully knowledgeable person working the counter, and gives you plenty of options to choose from. read more

What a beautiful, whimsical wonderland! What I love about Ruckus is how it is equal parts art gallery and functional head shop. Come for the rolling paper, stay for the artisanal bongs. I am a fan of the glass work of Winstar and they have a great collection here along with countless other glass artists. The real eye catcher here is the Tommy gun bong. I shudder to think how much it must cost, as it is behind glass and velvet ropes and the like. But the collection at Ruckus is awe inspiring and gorgeous. While it caters to a higher price point there are so many pieces so there's something for everyone. And like any good head shop the people working here are super cool and friendly. I highly suggest checking this place out as it feels like a trip to an art gallery! read more

Super cool place with some awesome glass art. If you want to take home a piece for yourself be prepared to shell out big bucks. I would have liked more visible pricing though, especially in the cases already aesthetically marred by 'Everything in this case 50% off' signs. And I was kind of bummed that they didn't have a slide adapter in stock to complete my purchase. But the staff and inventory they do have on display are still well worth the visit. read more

This place is terrible. Sold me a counterfeit piece. When I went back in to return the item, I was sexually assaulted by who I believe to be one of the owners. I believe his name is Jeff. I was in there to make a return, when said owner/employee exposed their genitals to me. All I wanted to do was make a return on the counterfeit item they sold to me. Instead I was sexually assaulted. They also attempted to sell me what looked like cocaine. Be careful going there, seems to be unregulated and definitely unsafe. I'll be following up after my case is complete. read more

This place has such good vibes... The people working here really do care about the vaping industry (as well as educating people about vaping as a whole). Me being the super picky person that I am, who will not hesitate to do my own research on anything I'm purchasing can truly say - I trust these folks! They are legit! This is a must visit for anything you may need as it relates to CBD consumption - whether it be gummies, CBD vape juice (e-liquids), tinctures, pre-rolls, flower, dry herb vaporizers (which i just purchased one from them today lol) and whatever you may need, chances are this place has it - HUGE shout to one particular staff person (name is Bud if I remember correctly) for always helping me navigate my CBD journey! This place is nuts - and in a good way! Ventured here on my search for kratom (and yes, they have it), but was more impressed with the gallery than anything. As for their products; they have a ton of stuff, but not gonna lie - most of it is pretty overpriced. We didn't interact with any of the staff because we'd already purchased the kratom at another store, but still wanted to check this place out. They have the most extensive collection of glass I've ever seen. Truly works of art! The space is very open and expansive and the gallery has everything nicely tucked into glass cases. Before we left, we walked up to the counter to get pricing on CBD products, and some were definitely fairly priced, but the staff was already super busy, so we decided to come back at a later time as we were in a hurry. Great place. It's an art gallery, which is awesome to just hang out in, but it's more. If you vape, they have you covered. If you need glass or other smoking-related items, they have a huge selection. Cool clothes and hats? Yup. CBD and Kratom products? It's my go-to spot for both. This place is fucking fantastic. The front two rooms is a gallery with crazy glass pipes that are true pieces of art. It is like the mecca of pipe art. Then in the rear is a great vape shop. THEN on the top floor is a DJ booth (of course), and glass pipes for purchase. I am just getting into this and they provided great education along with the nice selection. 5 stars all the way. I was really impressed and this made me feel all warm and fuzzy about the city of Philadelphia. A must visit for anyone. read more

This vape store is definitely the best one in Philly. As soon as we were greeted by the staff, who were in full masks, they were so helpful. The vape store has so many things to offer and basically every product you can imagine. They also introduced me to new products and I purchased something I had never tried before. This place is TOP notch when you're looking for a great smoke shop. I love that I can walk in and be greeted by every single employee with a SMILE! I live in South Philadelphia and make the trip to Olde City because they have the most reasonable, unbeatable prices to me that I have been able to find. My fiancé and I usually just hit up South Street, but they are totally overpriced. I have found the SAME products at Ruckus for nearly half the price. When you walk in, you feel like you are in another world. I had to double check to make sure I walked into the right store. They have professional cases displaying all of their pieces which I found to be really cool. Artists put so much time and effort into their pieces it's so nice to see them displayed properly. You feel like you're in a gallery, so hats off to them for pulling that off! I had NO idea they had been there for 3 years and am so bummed I hadn't found them sooner! I now tell everyone to go here if they need anything from wraps, organic smoking tools, glass, original RAW tee's and merch to CBD and kratom! I had NO idea that you could get CBD flower from a company called Platinum Jane, and being pregnant I love the benefits of CBD and can't have the THC due to breastfeeding. I love that they offer a variety of products for every single person not juts your average "stoner." You need to check this place out and make the drive if you're in the city looking for a smoke shop.
