Went to Perris location, Been wanting to try this place for sure! Today unfortunately just was a disaster. We order 2 large jerk chicken plates, a large stewed chicken, a larger curry chicken, 6 piece fried wings & a curry goat on the side! Total was in the $130 area The stewed chicken was good, the yams were fine as well, Rasta pasta was ok but the unfortunately nothing was hot(temperature wise). Everything felt like it was made at opening of day and was all extremely lukewarm warm smh. Now the worst part, 2 large orders of Jerk Chicken were beyond DRY!!! U could tell it was cooked many many hours earlier, possibly the day before smh. I thought about the fact that the grill wasn't cooking and u couldn't even smell the food pulling up, by we said let's still give them a try, extremely dissatisfied was the outcome unfortunately. As of now, feeling such a big loss has taken place, I doubt I will return anytime soon, but who knows smh I will say tho In conclusion, is that the curry goat was exceptionally good, tender and super flavorful, that was definitely the shine star of everything. They got the goat doing numbers indeed .... The jerk chicken was tender and packed with bold Caribbean flavor. The rice and peas were fluffy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the meal. I finally had a chance to stop by and try this place out. The place is small with a small table to sit while you wait. There is no seating unless the small table is available, enough room for 2 or 3 for a tight fit. There are some small tables outside however with the summer heat and no shade or umbrellas to help the metal seats and table cool, sitting outside was not an option for us. The service was good we greeted by the cashier and later one of the cooks. Very nice and friendly staff made us feel very welcomed. The food was delicious, seasoned well we ordered the Stew chicken with sweet yams along with rices and peas. The chicken was so flavorful and the rice was a good choice in sides to go with the rice. I was in the area ( area meaning Menifee) and was hungry. I took a little drive up the 215 and headed to Perris. I got there close to 12, I believe they open at 11:30. Customer service was good. I ordered the Jerk Chicken entree. You get to chose your rice and a side. I got rice and peas and Rasta pasta. It was ready in less than 5 minutes. I was going to sit and eat it there but they automatically bagged it up. Welp... now I had to wait til I got home. I will say the serving is generous. Generous on the chicken and rice. My plate also came with 1 little lonely plantain haha. Chicken was good and omg the smoke flavor from the bbq. It's been a minute since I've tasted anything from a grill. That alone had me doing the happy dance. The jerk has slight heat, and was finger licking good ;-). The chicken is chopped up whole chicken so be careful of some bones here and there. I liked the rice and peas and drizzled some jerk sauce on it which made it better to me. The Rasta Pasta was just ok. They didn't give me enough to really judge it'. I recall this because I live about 3 hours away, searching for restaurants in the area I was visiting, the excitement and skepticism to see a Jamaican spot.. I wanted everything! I happened across this place as I was at the medical building next door. I'm pretty white and don't know the first thing about Jamacian food but I do know chicken, and this was some of the best I've had in my life. Better than what I get out of my own smoker at home, and I consider myself pretty good around a smoker. Portions are generous and it was difficult to not gorge. My wife finished the second half after I got home. She also had to beg me to slap the banana pudding out of her hands so that she didn't inhale the whole thing in one bite. I have been wanting to try Rude Jerk Kitchen for a while. I'm a San Diego native but I live in Menifee and Rude Jerk Kitchen is not far. I finally made it in and had the grilled jerk shrimp with rice and peace and steamed cabbage. I also ordered two sides of jerk chicken. First of all there was so much food. The grilled jerk shrimp was delicious and had an awesome spicy kick. The plate came with plenty of large shrimp. The shrimp came with the tail on but they were prepared so well it was very easy to separate the tail. I loved how the red and green peppers, and onions were mixed with the rice and peas. The jerk chicken was flavorful as well. I was very happy with the spice. Now one thing about this place is that the wait will be long, but I was told ahead of time that it would be 25 minutes.
