We scheduled a family class with Federico, an introduction to pistols and assault rifles. Federico was very flexible, pacing class per our interests and requests. Class started with a detailed safety briefing! operation of weapons and then target shooting. Even though this was first time shooting for my sons (young adults), Federico explained things very clearly and methodically and by end of afternoon we were all able to shoot pistols and guns reasonably accurately into 3" and 6" targets. I brought a group of 10 women to Federico to learn more about firearms safety and shooting. Most of us had no prior experience with firearms. Federico and his partner explained the basics very clearly and they patiently answered all of our questions. When it came to shooting, they paid attention to each of us and gave tips on how each of us could improve. What I appreciated the most was that they were positive and encouraging. I've had experience with another instructor where he used a lot of negative reinforcement to scare us to take firearms safety seriously. I had a one on one class over the weekend with Federico and it was awesome! I walked in there feeling so nervous and I just couldn't shoot accurately. I kept expecting the firearm to have a way larger kick then it actually had. So my body naturally kept leaping forward when I would shoot the trigger. After 4 hours with Federico, I was able to shoot safely, confidently and accurately. It was amazing to see how fast I improved! He is an amazing teacher. He is patient and explains things so well.
