(but who wouldn't go because of the impending doom of the BILL), I just gotta tell you how this man has saved me *multiple thousands* of dollars AND the results of bogus diagnoses that would've been done by profit-seeking general practitioners: * Trigger Thumb: It wasn't one at all. The GP wanted to shoot me up with cortisone (and wreck good tissue/cartilage). Dr. Paul manipulated the pain away, because it was just a bruised muscle; no need for alarm; and, * Sciatica -- Lower back pain, and the feeling of gerbels crawling inside my calf. It drove me nuts. Sciatica is just a symptom, people; it's NOT a disorder all by itself. Something else is at play; i.e., something awry in your spinal cord. He sent me for a "drive through" MRI (only $350, hello!) and then confirmed a bulging disc in my spine. Only *3* sessions with him and at-home exercises FIXED it. No hospital; no drugs; no shots; no bullshit. (That was six years ago. Permanently cured!) * Swollen back of knee for no apparent reason; wanted to go to E.R., but saw Dr. Paul instead. He told me there weren't many good options, but that he'd recommend trying physical therapy rather than surgery. I found a physical therapist at Athletico. I went 3 times a week for a month. My back just got worse and worse. The pain expanded to my neck. Finally my fiancé went on line and found Dr. Tony. I heeded her advice and called him. He heard how much pain I was in and said he'd find a way to get me in despite his busy schedule. The next day, after a very short wait (less than 5 minutes), I met Dr. Tony. By this point I had sharp pain in my mid-back and had very limited mobility in my neck. When I left, I had much better mobility in my neck. After the next session, I was back to close to 100% mobility in my neck. So then we went to work on my back. And now, not quite a month later: I've felt steady progress and feel better than I've felt in months. The exercises he gave me in some cases were the exact opposite of stretches the Athletico PT had given me. Dr. Tony explains things clearly and never treated me with 'kid gloves' like previous PTs. I told Dr. Tony my goal was to be pain free by my wedding day this spring. We're well on our way to beating that goal. I've thought a lot about why Dr. Tony helped me so much where the PTs at Athletico failed. More knowledge: certainly. Different techniques: yes. Dr. Tony mixes soft tissue work with Chiropractic adjustments in addition to exercises to build strength. But more than anything else: It's clear that Dr. Tony and his staff truly care about my well-being and happiness. They want me to be pain free. They want me to no longer need them!
