I went in for my very first 60 minute Reiki appointment a couple weeks ago to deal with some stress due to drastic life changes. I have been feeling jumpy and "on-edge" for a while and needed some additional help/direction to provide relief. The space was incredibly cozy and all around felt good to be in. Immediately after meeting Marie, I knew she was a right fit. I appreciated her natural ability to make me feel right at home in a new space. The treatment itself was amazing. Having had smaller Reiki sessions before, I had an idea of what to expect, but during the full hour, I felt the tightness in my abdomen relax, and my breathing become easier. By the end of the hour, I was calm, glassy-eyed, and a little out of it (in a good way). I really feel that the treatment set the tone for how I coped with my stressors the following week. I didn't hold things in my body as much and felt calmer. Because I work in the health industry, I decided to also do a one-on-one Reiki training with Marie as well. I am still blown away by her kindness during the class. Not only did I receive amazing information and training, but the materials she gave me to study were very organized and well put together. We enjoyed talking about health and healing so much, that we did get off track with time (which I didn't mind because I was learning so much), but she was so kind in letting me hang out longer to get all the training I needed. After just two appointments with Dr. Simms and additional biometric (blood and saliva) testing, we both came to the conclusion that not only was I working against my thyroid by way of the foods that I was eating, but I was also suffering from iron and vitamin D deficiency. Additionally, I had moderate hormonal imbalances. These weren't far-fetched, non-Western conclusion, but founded in more accurate interpretations and more complete biometrics. The "prescription" was a variety of supplements to address deficiencies and excesses. I misjudged the weight of a crate and ouch, that hurt. I assumed it was a simple muscle strain, but I'm no physician. Dr. Weiler, however, recognized my symptoms as consistent with a more serious injury and, thanks to her and her very professional staff, I had an X-ray, an MRI and saw a specialist, all within four days of my initial visit with her. There's no way I could've achieved all these appointments on my own. It's only because of Dr. Weiler and her staff that I got in to see a specialist that very same week. UPDATE: Within 10 days of that first appointment with Dr. Weiler, I learned I'd suffered a 95-percent separation of my bicep, and had the surgery necessary to correct it. Yes. All within 10 days. If not for Dr. Weiler, the injury I mistook for a simple strain could've very easily become so severe that even surgery wouldn't have been an option. Besides that, the specialist to whom she referred me was among the best of the best. Another win for Dr. Weiler. She's got a lot of those.

I came to this clinic for a couple pairs of new orthotics. They cost the typical price, about…read more$800, which was partially covered by insurance. The orthotics needed to be adjusted several times, to get them to fit properly. Each time I returned for an adjustment, each appointment within 1 month of initially receiving them, I was charged a co-pay. I felt like I was being charged to correct something that should have been guaranteed to fit. Basically, they charged me and my insurance each time to send the orthotics back to the lab to be adjusted. And each time my orthotics were sent out, they took about 2 weeks to get back to the clinic. On top of this, the clinic seems to occasionally over charge. I end up with some credits on my account, which I was never told about. They did not offer to issue a refund check. Which reminds me, it's been more than a year since my last visit and according to my health insurance they still owe me a credit. They've never contacted me about this, basically leaving it up to me to track my refund down. On a positive note, Dr Glick and Dr Tsatsos did an excellent job informing and educating me about my foot structural issues. They gave me a lot of information on how to find shoes that fit and don't exacerbate my issues.
