I found Rudy's through searching online while trying to find someone to repair my damaged passenger door and fender outside of insurance. I called and Mark got back to me quickly. He offered me a very reasonable rate compared to any of the other shops I had spoken to. He was even nice enough to walk me through to the repair process when I came to drop off my vehicle. The repair turnaround was quick and they got my car looking good as new. If you're not careful, you can totally miss the entrance of the shop so make sure you drive all the way through. The job took 2 days longer thank promised. At pick up, I noticed that the trim around the fender was not reinstalled properly. So they had to fix it while I wait. Then I noticed that there's paint over spray on the hood. So they cleaned that up while I wait again. On the work order, they were supposed to and paid for the removal of front bumper for better result of the paint job. Well, this didn't happen either. Proceed with caution when considering using this place. Seems like nice guys, but the job does not match what they promise. read more

I wanted to love this place because previously they've fixed my car twice with no issues. Unfortunately this third time my car was in an accident my experience wasn't great. I brought my car in around April 15 for a basic fender repair, nothing else was damaged in my accident. When I picked up my vehicle after two weeks my driver side window wouldn't roll up. The mechanic told me it was probably their fault that it was broken from taking the door off and that they would fix it for me. Turns out they went through the insurance company to fix the part which I thought was uncool since I didn't have an issue with the window from the accident and I literally had a man tell me it was probably their fault. Then they finally give me my car back after a month, dropping it off at my workplace as I work unusual hours. When I leave work after they dropped my car off for me my battery is completely dead and smoking, leaving me to buy a new battery! Fast forward to this week (august 23) my window is completely broken and won't roll down or up or anything AGAIN. I emailed & called the shop to see if it was under warranty as I'm 99% sure the piece that is broken again is the one they broke abs replaced... but no response and now I have no choice but to pay someone else to fix something that wasn't even my fault. Very big headache. I know most people have had great experiences and I did the first two times I went to Rudy's but this experience has left me frustrated and after 4 months and another issue I'm upset. read more

*HAPPY CUSTOMER, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED* Paint on my roof was to the point of rusting from Florida sun damage. Hood was fading as well as one of my doors. Mark, the owner, was super friendly and as a female walking into a car place, he did not make me feel like he was intimidating or taking advantage of me at all! My budget was $1000 and he was able to paint my roof, hood, side door and polish my entire truck as well as defog my headlights for $900! I dropped it off the day after I went in on a Monday and got it back that Friday! Also, the gentlemen that worked there delivered it to my house because I didn't have a ride to go get it. FANTASTIC customer service, everybody there is incredibly nice, the job took 5 days, he did more than I originally wanted to get done and still was UNDER my budget. 100% recommend. PS, the place may not LOOK the nicest appearance wise, but trust me when I saw the workers make you feel comfortable and the job they did was beyond my expectations! read more

On a referral, I took my 1998 Buick to Rudy's for an estimate, I had a side panel on passenger door about to fall off and needed repair. On entering the office, Christian greeted me and immediately responded to my concerns over my car. He had two of his guys (exceptional customer service) on it, as he noticed a scraped section on other side of the car. One guy was working on the panel and the other proceeded to compound out the other, all with success. Excellent workmanship on both and I couldn't have been happier. Moving to a new area, you never know who you can trust when it comes to car care. Christian at Rudy's was so welcoming and transparent with all my car repair needs after an accident on I4. I got the car back and a few weeks later, the car ACC and mitigation system warning lights turned on. He performed a free diagnostic, but unfortunately was unable to diagnose the problem. I took it to Honda who wanted to charge me $450 to recalibrate the front radar system, and to do this, required the removal of the bumper. Because it was accident related, Christian was able to get the job done and it was processed through insurance! When i say transparency, I mean it!! He said the bumper has a panel (its sole purpose is to be removed in order to recalibrate) and they didn't have to remove the bumper to do the job. They test drove it and I have no issues now! So happy have found this place!! read more

Terrible place, please take a good word of advice and avoid this auto repair shop at all costs. Total rip-off! Took them about 6 months without exaggeration to even get started on my car's repairs and get it back to me. Still, to this day a year later the car keeps making a tire rubbing noise which they never addressed and continued to ignore until I finally gave up. Completely blown away by the my experience with this company. I was rear ended and I had to have my front and rear bumpers painted. My insurance company said I had to wait 3 weeks to get an estimate. I took it to Rudy's and they got my car in to be painted and back to me within a week. The staff are all very friendly, knowledgeable and understanding of your situation. They're one of the few companies who mean it when they say "We'll get you taken care of". When I got my car back I was blown away by the results. Both bumpers looked as if they were brand new. Being a detailer myself, I know what to look for when it comes to body defects. I saw none. The paint looked as if it was from the factory. There were no swirls in the paint (my car is black) which also really surprised me, no wetsanding marks, no leftover compound. Exceptional results. The people running this shop are wholeheartedly committed to providing the finest paint and body work you can get. There's a reason that dealers trust them with repairing factory paint defects, and it shows in their work. I searched around for a company who was reputable when I wanted a truck painted. Mark was very personable and professional. I choose these guys. It took a little longer that we thought and I was getting a bit skeptical until I picked up the truck and was blown away at the job. They said the paint had a lifetime warranty, "sure" I thought. I took my wife's car there once when she was rear ended because i trusted them from the truck. they did a great job matching the paint " pearl tri-coat"- not the easiest to match i have been told. 5 years later I have a small 20 year old roadster that got hit in a parking lot. I love this little car and took it to Rudy's for an estimate. I asked them what it would cost to paint the whole car. They talked me out of it and promised their body work and paint job would look awesome. I agreed and let them have the car. At the end of the week it was repaired and painted and Mark had the guys buff the whole car. I think it is the best it looked in years. I picked up the car in the truck I had painted 5 years prior and showed them a few spots that had begin fading. They had me leave the truck so they could look at it. A week later they re painted all the bad areas and a few more that they found that I didn't even see. A week later the truck was done and looks awesome. No Charge...This lifetime warranty that I thought . "Yeah sure" was legitimate. Besides that they were all so great to work with. I have 5 fleet trucks and from now on all my repair work on those will be done at Rudy's. I will tell all my friends about these guys. I tend to keep my cars for a long time. Best auto body shop we have ever been too. Christian, Doug, and Jimmy were smart and kind! They were extremely helpful and helped us weigh our options when we went in to get our sunroof fixed that was stuck open during rain season. Every time I called Christian was there answering the phone giving me updates! They looked up prices of parts and helped us pick the option that made sense for us. I was rear ended and needed to have my car repaired. After a bunch of research I chose Rudy's Auto Body & Paint. It was local, they had decent reviews, and I also called a friend it was his first answer. They are off Old Cheney and their sign is easy to read. Prior to arriving calling into the location had a little difficulty with having someone answer. Sometimes it would ring and go to voicemail multiple times a day, however the manager Obad( probably butchered his name here) leaves his cell phone number as well to text or call. He will usually be helping the crew with vehicles and isn't available to answer the phone. I was okay with this as I was getting a rental car and I would expect them to put effort into the work they produce. Needless to say the exchange was flawless, the time between passed quickly and the pickup was flawless as well. The only issue I would say is the phone answering, but if you want work done that is reliable go to Rudy's. They even are certified by some insurance like State Farm which made working with them even easier. If you need auto work done give them a shot, but remember you may not get through ok the phone at times. read more

Our 2007 Honda Civic Coupe was rear-ended and even though the damage was not severe, the bumper was damaged. Overall our car has no dings or dents and we have been very conscientious about keeping it out of harms way to prevent unwanted damage. Obviously, this was upsetting and the bumper had to be fixed. The other party's insurance covered the damage and we were given the option of taking the car to several auto-body shops in the area. We had never had any dealings with Rudy's and was not familiar with them but since they are listed as an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau, the online reviews are very good and due to the convenience of their location we chose them to do the work. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The gentleman that we dealt with at Rudy's was Mark, the owner. He was helpful, genuine and friendly. He gave us complete details of the repairs that would be done, he gave us options in case we were not completely satisfied upon inspection of the repairs and called the rental car company to come pick us up when we dropped off our car. The work was done in 48 hours as promised and when we picked our car up it was better than new. They did such a fantastic job I would recommend Rudy's without hesitation. The service, demeanor and overall performance of this family business gets an A+++ from us. Thank you Rudy's for turning an unpleasant accident into a positive experience. Rudy's is by far the BEST body shop in Orlando. I am very particular about my car and pretty much a perfectionist. Obed and his team share the same values. They take care of your car as if it was their own. My door had a dent in it, and they were able to do the body work and re-paint the driver's side. The car looked brand new and you could never tell work was done. I even took the car to a different Audi dealership and they thought the car was mint. I HIGHLY recommend Rudy's!
