SCAM ALERT! Stay very far away. Warn your family and neighbors to avoid this company…read more Nick (he never gave us his full name) scammed, bullied, defrauded, and browbeat my 80- something mother. He is a very aggressive salesman, and pressured her into having a rug cleaned that she didn't think needed cleaning and also into adding service she didn't want. When she called him and told him to take those services off the order, he told her he did, but charged her for them anyway. He told her pickup and delivery were free, then later demanded payment for delivery. He also quoted her a per rug cost then multiplied it to much more than the actual total. He stood threateningly close over her shoulder reading her bank details (at one point he took her laptop and checked her bank balance) while she made the first payment online. He delivered two days before they had agreed (before she was ready for delivery, and while she wasn't there) and then proceeded to call her every few minutes for over an hour loudly demanding the remaining payment immediately. He even took one of her rugs hostage and told her she wouldn't get it back unless he got payment immediately, even though they had agreed delivery and payment would be two days later. He objected loudly and angrily when she said she needed a few minutes to look over the bill. She paid him because she felt so threatened. Overall cost was over $7000 for cleaning three rugs even though she only wanted two rugs cleaned. Nick is a nightmare you don't need. She called Rug Cleaning Westchester, and Nick came, but he gave her an invoice from Brielle's Rug Cleaning. The company he had her send the money to was Think Green Carpet Cleaning. Are these all actually the same company? Hard to say. I'm going to leave this review on all three company's pages. I guess he probably has quite a few fronts.
