This company is SPECTACULAR!…read more I drove 2 days straight from Texas to Petoskey in order to house sit for my sister's kids & pets. I arrived at 4:30pm & opened the garage door only to have water come rushing from under the door out into the driveway. Upon fast investigation, the water filter housing had cracked and water was spraying everywhere! There was a few inches of water in the garage and mud room. I called a family friend, who in turn sent over a plumber. The plumber suggested that we contact our insurance company and Bay Area Clean Clear. We did. Within an hour on a Sunday night, the Bay Area Clean Care van arrived. They got right to work and kept us informed each step of the way. As the sun went down, the temperatures started to drop. We had no water & no heat (because the boiler was right in the middle of the shower). In my sexiest outfit (2 sweatshirts & layered sweat pants..Keep in mind, I left temps in the 80's in Texas!) ...I asked if they might have a heater we could use in the living room to camp out & not freeze. The employee went back to his shop at 10:30pm at night to get us a commercial heater (which was not even included or needed for their clean up efforts.) They worked until well after midnight and returned at 9:00am to continue. They were extremely professional and simply good compassionate people. I would HIGHLY recommend this company! This company has renewed my faith in humanity.

We had planned to have two small oriental rugs cleaned, but the cleaner tested each of them and determined that the colors would run using the process used on the rest of the carpeting. Had he not gone the extra mile to test the rugs they could have easily been ruined! We've used this company in the past and it continues to provide excellent service. We wandered in partially because they have been in business over 100 years, which is super impressive and noteworthy. We were looking for some grilling equipment and baking items, and found a whole array of things we wanted and could use! They had something for every budget and all good sturdy items. Also they had a lot of fun and quirky items like foldable blankets for hiking (packed into a tiny sack) and sayings for your wall. It was a fun shop to browse and discover some new items. The store was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I found the aisles to be open and easy to navigate, and shelves were not overly packed. Great store to find what is needed!
