I have spent almost 600 dollars for two different braiding hairstyles with her in the last Month. The first one was meant to be a pick and drop style with human hair leave out only 3 strands per braid s. I sent her a video of what I wanted she assured me she does this style all the time and can do it at 270. what I left with was boho knotless braids (using synthetic hair and all 4 packets if my human hair which cost 250 dollars in my head)braided all the way down with over 10 human hair strands each it was heavy got knotted the next day , after less than a week I called her and said I want to take it off it's not what I wanted at all , she was very argumentative with me but she understood after some back and forth, I was traveling for an extra week so we made an appointment for take off and re braiding for 240 this time French curl ( with hair I was providing) This style was done on July 26th and I was happy with it however on August 2nd while I was in Paris 3 front braids fell out, by August 5th I had lost alot of front braids I messaged her and told her the hair is falling out which is odd considering it's only been one week and said when I get back to NYC we should look to fix the front. Now I want to be clear I wasnt expecting her to fix it for free . however she called me in Paris and went on tell me before I could speak she would have to charge me and claimed Its me they have an issue with. I cant stand women pitting women against each other, for her to claim Im a problem is not only unprofessional, rude but borderline mean . I would have paid for the repair but she never gave me a chance to say so . I have never had a woman speak to me the way she did and blame me for her bad work. Im now in london and yesterday I got the french curl braids taken out and re braided another huge cost . Im sure she can do basic braids well and the salon is clean , friendly not noisy like the other shops in harlem ( hence why I went to her) also her daughter slays a wig!! but the two braiding styles with Zalia I have done with her in the last month have been terrible and her attitude to my feedback has left the worst impression. I wouldn't recommend and would caution anyone who goes here. waste of alot money time and she will tell you you are the problem.

She applied a liquid highlighter and it streaked down my cheek, but she never corrected it (among other mess ups she did not correct). 5. She used heavy and cheap false eye lashes. 6. She was unresponsive during the trial when I told her I was not happy with how the makeup turned out. 7. The updo she gave me fell out approximately 1 hour later. I didn't even go outside with it. 8. She cashed both the trial and deposit checks (a total of $408) despite my expressed unhappiness with her work.
