Both were spot on. This is a true local's spot, and I absolutely love how welcoming it always feels. You can tell it's the kind of place where regulars gather and newcomers instantly feel like regulars. We grabbed food from the food truck outside and it was ahhhmazing. The Cove Brewery is on the beach, in this little hodgepodge of independent stores which is itself worthy of visit. Appropriately, the area is called "The Cove". The brewery is nice and clean, airy and open, set in a beautiful building. There's a lot of food around, merchandise, etc. The beers themselves are beach themed also, good lighter beers easy to drink. Note for beer geeks: J. Wakefield has been involved at a management level with The Cove, and he recently announced recipe collaborations with The Cove, meaning that the old JWB classics will make an appearance at Deerfield Beach.

But unfortunately, when Monica is not there, you can tell things are not run smoothly at all. Our last visit there last week was kind of frustrating. It's kind of like not one person knows what they're doing left and right. I sat there and I noticed two couples that were sat. Nobody went over to them. I said something to one of the managers. Yes, it was probably out of my place but these two young ladies sat there for at least 15 minutes. No one even greeted them. So I said something to our waitress who is a sweetheart. She went over and greeted them. The manager never said anything. We went to check out and one of my guests from out of town wanted to buy $100 gift card, it had nothing to do with our table and the server completely messed it up, it literally took 20 minutes to get $100 gift card bought. It was literally like a spiral wheel with a couple of spokes missing.. we will always go back. It's one of our favorite places. We enjoy the food, we enjoy the atmosphere, and the service are excellent, but sometimes just need a little extra TLC and teamwork to what's going on.!

I sampled 2 IPAs, west Coast and hazy. Both delish. Hazy is a bit more sour. Apparently an event is coming up Burns Fest. Jan 16th(Sat) Haggis pizza, bagpipes etc. so glad I stopped in! But worse, it wasn't hot at all, the patties were almost nonexistent, there was absolutely no heat, and the bun was totally dry and crumbly. We talked to the server about how this didn't seem to be the same burger and she said the menu had wrong information. Speaking of the menu - it's always been bad but it's somehow even worse now. The problem isn't that you can only access it with a QR code. The menu has annoying drop downs and the burgers are closer to the bottom. It reloads at different places. It's the worst. And I paid $16 for a burger I didn't eat. The fries came out hot at least. Not worth it.
