We frequent Revelry quite often for their live music offerings, and love their drinks and food. Our favorite cocktail is the espresso martini which we order with bourbon instead of vodka. They also make a perfect old-fashioned and the service is consistently great. For this visit we ordered the Prime Rib French Dip sandwich, and the Resident Vegan sandwich--both were fresh and tasted great. They offer a variety of different community events, including burlesque shows and silent book club gatherings. When I parked in the parking lot of Revelry, I was convinced that I was in the place. It didn't seem like much was happening there. I walked to the door, tuned the know, half expecting it to be locked, and as I opened it, it was like I was transported into a new dimension. It was full of peopke, a bar in front of me, bartenders busy with drinks, a band was setting up, ... I tell you, nothing could have been more pleasantly surprising. We sat at a table. The waitress was a trip. I wish I remembered her name. She made me laugh out loud several times. The band was a cover band for Duran Duran. They did a great job and didn't take a break the entire time. The food was good, the beer was cold, the service was great, and overall it was an unforgettable night. read more

We arrived a party of 16. Our drink orders were promptly taken. Shortly after the drinks arrived our meal orders were taken. We waited an hour before the first and second burgers arrived at different tables. Another thirty minutes before a salad order arrived. The meals continued to arrive one by one in thirty minute intervals, this was ridiculous! Our last ones arrived 2 hours after the first meal. This is no way to run a restaurant! We had a great experience on a Saturday night. We had a 6:30 reservation and were immediately seated. The music started at 8pm and it was loud. If you want to have a conversation, go early. I had the mahi sandwich with the buffalo truffle cauliflower. It was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion size. The decor is amazing. There is so much to look at. Finally got a chance to come here when I friend was in town nearby. She knows me well and she immediately was like, this place is so you when she beat us there. It's an adorable little lounge style bar, couches and decor give it a cozy feel but you also know the energy is great. The bartenders are sweet as can be and they make amazing drinks. There are events here and on this night they had a live performance and it was great background music. Happy hour drinks and apps were great- I had 2 of the Serpentarius and one Fluffer. We came during happy hour and had so much fun we didn't even realize we were there until 12. The food was great; loved the fries- crunchy! The deviled eggs we ordered 2 of, the wagyu skewers, hangover helper (crunchy fries!!!) and the grilled cheese. This was a fun experience. We met friends here for an early dinner. They had suggested we try the burgers and we were happy we did. Not only were they great burgers but we got to enjoy the very interesting decor, great service and half price burgers at 6pm! Parking was easy in the lot located in a strip center. The restaurant theme was maybe a bit dark and "scary" for some...or fun and different for others like myself. There were couches, chairs, booths and tables along with a bar decorated with lots of weird stuff like bats and skulls. The wall above one booth was covered with Tiki decorations while another had chandelier lighting. At the back of the restaurant area was a stage and an area with an old tv, videos and a rack of vintage clothing. There were game boards and a list of nightly entertainment ..Burlesque shows, karaoke and drag bingo stood out. The menu had plenty of food and drinks to choose from. WILD BURLESQUE... Fun night at Revelry in Pompano Beach. Arrived here early for food and drinks before the burlesque show with an entry price of $25.00 per person, which includes a private table. We ordered the Challah Grilled Smoked Gouda Cheese with Tomato Bisque, Chicken Little Sandwich & Fries, and Pretzel & Spice with Mango Habanero and Beer Cheese dips. All the dishes were amazingly tasty and washed down well with a Kentucky Vanilla Barrel Cream Beer. The burlesque show started promptly at 745pm and the entertainers were exquisite each performing a unique sexually powerful act. The gender neutral bathrooms were clean with heavy nostalgic decor (see pic) as well as throughout the entire showroom. Will return to Revelry for Totally 80s Summer Party and the Spelling Buzz - drink while participating in a spelling bee. Fun, Fun, Fun time...just would prefer less intermission time, but still does not diminish that strong five star rating. read more

I lived in Lake Worth where I was walking distance from the original location the focused primarily on a vast selection of craft beer and always offering Underbergs for quick shots. That place was a beautiful gem that unfortunately closed following COVID and other conditions. My wife and I were finally able to visit the new location in Pompano Beach just down the street from the Pompano Beach Amphitheater where we were seeing the Violent Femmes. Needless to say, the new location takes everything I loved about the original location and enhances it to another level: larger space, much more stylish speakeasy-like atmosphere that emphasizes on the burlesque events, excellent cocktails, and a food menu. With the original owners steering the magic of the new and enhanced location, the staff running the bar are amazing, cool, and friendly. The service was stout at the bar as we ordered a couple of cocktails while a band played some covers such as "Under the Milky Way" by the Church. For my money, the Burlesque Tart was grand with the red ruby grapefruit complimenting the Gray Whale Gin, while the Stockholm Syndrome takes your palate on an epic, emotional journey that starts with passion fruit before making a left turn into peanut butter and then sending you into a spicy finish from the Ghost Tequila. While the bar and lounge with its splendid embroidered furniture and burlesque vibes is a bit far for us (we are in the Acreage in West Palm Beach), I would return for their brunch and weekend vibes in a heartbeat. Revelry beats anything you may find nowadays in downtown West Palm and probably Himmarshee Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Period. read more

Minute one in this restaurant I knew it was going to be a great night. Everywhere are retro items sprawled out on the walls and tables. Lots of tables and sofas mixed into the dining room with a long L-shaped bar. Ate the salted pretzel bites and a cocktail while watching the burlesque show for two hours. Really fun and eclectic! Came to celebrate my friend's and my birthday. No reservations accepted but we all have been wanting to come for a while so decided to risk it. The drinks were good (that's the 1 star) but the customer service was very inhumane and disgusting. I was there recently, I had to suddenly leave due to a family member being sent to the hospital. The bartender that has long red hair mocked me as I was trying to wave any bartender down since I was in a hurry to go and needed to close my tab. As I told her I have to go to the hospital, I need to close my tab she said "well there's 100 of you and 5 of us so idk what you want me to tell you and rudely cut me off and rolled her eyes" I thought that was extremely insensitive and very rude. As I wish I had time to speak to a manager, this left such a bad taste that I don't for see myself ever going back or recommending this place to visit due to how someone can be so rude, insensitive, inhumane, and disrespectful. Came here for Valentine's Day on a date with my husband. This has been a Yelp bookmark I've been wanting to try for a while and I am soooo happy we did! The moment we walked in, we were immediately impressed by the apothecary/gothic aesthetic. I loved that there was so much to do other than eat and drink -- there's a lounge area to play games, there's a boutique with artisanal goods and thrifted clothes, and there's a stage that I'm sure is used for certain events. If only this place wasn't too far, we would totally become regulars! So enough about the vibes, let's get to the food... I ordered got the Jezebel burger with upgrade to beer cheese tater tots. They made a mistake initially gave us regular tots but the issue was easily fixed. Hubby ordered the Prime Rib French Dip with upgrade to Buffalo tossed cauliflower side. For some reason, we thought the Buffalo Tossed Cauliflower would be fried but it wasn't... but also to our surprise, it still tasted very good! As for drinks, they really knocked it out of the park. I got the Stockholm Syndrome drink and hubs got the Hibernal Solstice which tasted like Christmas. If didn't plan on going to another bar/brewery after this lunch date, we would've ordered another round of drinks! After lunch, I perused their small shop area and if I wasn't on a strict budget that month (it's our birthday month, with my birthday and his birthday almost 2 weeks apart and Valentines day in the middle and our dating anniversary just two weeks before my birthday), I would've splurged! This spot makes me feel like I'm in San Francisco back in the 90s! It's unique, eclectic, and unlike anything in the area. It's located in a strip mall, and you'd never guess how cool it's inside from the outside. Want to watch a movie on a vcr? Got it. Want to lounge on cool antique couches while catching up with a friend? Check. Seeking board games to play on a rainy day while having fabulous drinks? They got you! And to think I was there on a night they had no live entertainment! I have to go back. I especially want to check out Drag bingo. They even have a cute little shop area. The service was good. The place and the food is good. However, a problem: twice when I've paid using cash, the waiters did NOT give me my change back. They rounded the dollar down. Um, that's not right. We stopped by for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon. It's located in a corner of a non-descript shopping center on the east side of U.S. 1/Federal Highway in Pompano Beach. There's free parking in the lot out front. We decided to sit at the bar. We immediately fell in love with the place. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is eclectic with so many great decor items that I didn't know where to look first. After browsing the menu, we heard about their special of the day and decided to order it and share. It was a dish that they usually serve on their Saturday brunch menu, and sounded delicious -- which it turned out to be. My husband loves passion fruit, so he ordered a specialty drink that featured that flavor. We were there during happy hour, so he was able to get the drink at a reduced price. He said it was very good. I enjoyed a full sugar black cherry soda and added a wedge of lime. If you've ever had a lime rickey then you know what it tasted like. I'd get this again. While waiting for our food to be prepared, I took a quick turn around the perimeter of the room to check out all the various cool items. There were displays of clothes, jewelry, signs, books, tapes, posters, games, skulls, devils, fortune telling stuff, Ouija boards, etc. etc. This is the kind of place where you'd find something new each time you looked as there's too much take in all at once. We shared their honey butter chicken dish which was two pieces of crispy chicken topped with honey butter and honeycomb cereal pieces as well as two sweet pieces of corn bread. The different flavors made for a rich, but delectable combination. The cereal pieces gave it a bit of texture. We ate every bit of food on the plate. I can't wait to return to try more of their creative food menu. They have a large drink menu including different cocktails and beers on tap. They host a number of events -- including happy hour, a burlesque show/brunch, various musical acts from classic soul to indie rock, a psychedelic art night once a month, drag queen bingo shows, etc. etc. The entertainment varies so check their online schedules. Folks are still discovering this place (it was originally located in Lake Worth). So come soon, off-season, while they are still not as crowded. During the week, they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. They open at 4 pm (Wednesday and Thursday), but on the weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) at 11:30 am. This is a unique, fun venue with great cocktails and good food. What more could anyone ask? read more
