My friend and I were looking for a quick bite in the area and found this spot. We had a flatbread, a pizza crust appetizer, and some homemade soda. We played some games while we waited for our dinner. They have a large variety of beers that looked interesting and I will try when I'm not the driver. The food wasn't exceptional but it was tasty. I've had this place bookmarked for a while, and it did not disappoint! We usually like to sit at the bar - it's a bit small here, but they have plenty of tables plus outdoor picnic tables with live music (we came today, a Friday) and pets welcome! Everything was good - I came for the scotch egg, and it was awesome. The mushroom pizza we got - also awesome, and the beer too! I got the sacsayhuaman blonde ale (sexy woman) and he got A Stein of Ein IPA. Took 4 packs of each home. Staff was very nice, the vibe is very chill. Inside, the crowd was mostly on the older side while outside seemed to be the younger crowd. You can smell the brewed yeast or whatever it is from the vats which might not be for some, but, duh, it's a brewery, and I love it. I come here for Silent Book Club meetings and they close the whole place down for us which is really nice. Even though it's a brewing company, the food is always good and the service is great. We were on vacation at Pompano Beach so decided to revisit Dangerous Minds Brewing. I had a flight of two sours, a pale ale and an Imperial Stout. (I had been here in 2022 and had tried their IPAs). I enjoyed the sours and pale ale. I don't remember them having a kitchen in 2022 and the menu looked good. However we had a large lunch so only beer consumed. My friend and I have decided to check out our local breweries and this is stop #2. On a Saturday night. We sat at the bar and started off with a light beer and took a Quick Look at the menu thru the QR code available on the bar. I think the bartenders could be a little more attentive to newbie's, which is my only critique. It took awhile for anyone to ask if we wanted food. We ordered the pretzel with a side of beer cheese and it was really good, I don't think the beer cheese side is worth it though. I really want to go back and try the scotch egg because I've always been curious about those. I also noticed shepherds pie on the menu that will be another must when we go back. When we left about 9pm I noticed a band outside and it seemed like a good scene. I'll definitely go back and enjoy that live music. read more

Here I am. Stubbled upon this place on the way to find TJ Max in this shopping center I've never been to. 4:15-ish and they have business. I peeked into the window, and the server on the patio greeted me with a smile. It's really the reason I decided to enter(was gonna eat Indian, next door). Mmmmm. I ordered a couple of things to-go, because I prob won't finish both. Bartender suggested Karagge Chicken. Japanese fried chix with a small side salad(extra??$). Mmm. Good. I think it's an app. Spicy sauce not too(yay-he was right). Pizza sauce is tasty, but loose(GF caulif crust). Cheese is good. Cooked perfectly. Hey. 25 min in and the crust is still good! Bonus! Oh! A Pompano Beach brewery with sleek modern decor, offering beer, eats and fun throwback board games including Monopoly, Yahtzee and Taboo. The brewery's open layout makes it feel like a welcoming, casual place to hang out. The unique presentation of shots in mini laboratory beakers adds a quirky touch. The Waldmeister Sour 5.8% was Berliner Weisse flavored with sweet woodruff (my favorite). The El Corte Dorado was an interesting brew with its oak tequila aging and strong 8.7% ABV - definitely not for the faint of heart! The friendly and knowledgeable staff, like the owner Adam and bartender "Q," seem to make the experience even better. The huge beer vats being right at the door gives that authentic brewery vibe, and it's great that they offer Beer To Go, allowing patrons to take a piece of the experience home with them. The food menu is mainly Gluten Free and Vegetarian, offering a decent variety of eats including Artisanal Pizzas, Salads and Global Street Food - beer cheese griddled sandwich for $8.00. The get 4 stars for that great scotch egg, not an easy item to find in South FL. They usually have soccer on the screens, at least every time I have been there that was it. They do have some unique food items, but the place is in a strip mall, and sort of lacks the 'vibe' most breweries have. With that being said, it won't stop me from returning. The Jolly Proper on Nitro (when available) by far my first choice here. read more

I stopped by tonight for Dangerous Minds 5th Anniversary Party featuring music from the North End Rockers. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza with the new Von Bingen American IPA * 6.8% Juniper and sage, traditionally used to cleanse the body and spirit. They can't claim that it is true, but blended together they make for a tasty spiced IPA. Came here on a whim, after visiting the Pompano Beach pier. It was only nine minutes away. And it may not seem like much given that it is in a small strip mall, but I've had the best beers here. I have tried Cocobana, Suave (twice, that's how good it is) and the Phenakistoscope, while my fiance had the Willi's Wheat, Stein of Ein, and ended with Suave (yup, that amazing). We had already eaten, so we didn't get to try the food. But the pictures and reviews of all the food looked really good! We would love to come back to get more of that Suave beer and try the food! My favorite part of this brewery is that they offer "tasters" which are 4oz shooters but they uniquely come in cute lab beakers! I sometimes get too full easily on a pint, so I like that I was able to try different beers in a smaller scale. Overall, I didn't have a beer I didn't like and I want to try the rest of the beer menu and food!! read more

Best pizza in Lighthouse Point/Pompano area. An odd location be located on the outskirts of a shopping complex, but the outdoor picnic tables are a fun spot to hang out, drink, and listen to live music (despite one time having a pretty bad singer, most performers are very good!) We've always had great service here and have never been disappointed in the food or drinks. I am not a beer drinker so I appreciate their selection of wines and ciders, but my family loves their beer. As far as pizza goes, the butternut squash and ricotta pizza is my absolute favorite and always a 10/10. We tried the tikka masala pizza for the first time last night, which was delicious but personally not my cup of tea. My family also really enjoys the North ender pizza, but be careful with the hot peppers! Overall, best pizza and beer I n town with a really fun atmosphere at night. Absolutely not. I was so pissed leaving here. IDK how this is rated almost 5 stars the reviews must be fake or from ppl who like no flavor in their food, and like to be ripped off. I came because it said they had happy hour..... oh wow $1 off beer or wine. What a joke. Didn't know that until I already was seated. I ordered their only white wine option and it was the cheapest wine tasted like trash. They only have 4 food options for happy hour and none were a good option. Nothing on the menu was really appealing... Their "artisanal" pizzas were all very weird flavor combos, none looked good. The ONLY option you can order is a 10" personal pizza for $15. WHAT A RIP OFF. When my pizza came out it was the smallest pizza i've ever seen. I'm not even kidding it was so small I ate all of it and I never can eat more than 3 slices of pizza. It was NOT a 10" pizza. I ordered the "dangerous pizza of the day" which was supposed to come with spreadable sausage (gross), cheese, server said red onions, and hot honey. I subbed pepperoni instead with all the other stuff on it. It was $16. The crust was BURNT, I like some char, but it was overcooked. Took the first bite and how tf did it taste like nothing. I seriously had to pour half of the oregano & red pepper flake bottles over the pizza for it to taste like anything. You could barely even taste the honey.... and it was not hot. I was so mad that I wasted money on this place it was $30 for only myself, and I still left hungry. DONT GO HERE. There is way better food for that price. Hands down the best brewery in all of Broward County. Possibly even SoFL. Maybe in all of Florida. The selection of beer here is nothing short of spectacular. When you have a German and English owners you know this is a match made in beer heaven. On top of that, the food is all made in house. Outstanding pizza. Try the Bacon & Pickle pizza or the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza. They have special tasting nights, special beer and food nights, Tuesday trivia and live music all the time. He started with a pizza and a pretzel and I ended up ordering a (vegan) pizza too bc it looked so good. Our server was very friendly and the food was great. It would have been nice if some of the things I wanted had vegan options as well (like the beer cheese or the curry sauce) but alas, at least there are some vegan options. On our last visit, we were pretty disappointed so it was definitely nice to have a better experience this time. We're local so we'll definitely be back more often now. First time trying this place out. It was a little cool outside so perfect for sitting outdoors at one of their many picnic bench tables. Overall, I felt the tables were socially distanced, the employees all wore masks, and they offer the QR code for viewing the menu on the phone. At first glance at the menu, I was a bit disappointed because it was mostly pizza options and I was trying to reduce my carb intake. However, I'm glad my party did choose two pizzas to try because the crust and topping combos were amazing. This coming from a person that takes a lot to be impressed by pizza. Note though, the size of the pizzas are not huge like a NY style pie. They are more like a little bigger than a personal size. I also ordered a caress salad just to few like I'm eating somewhat healthy. And I'm glad they were able to sub the arugula for spinach Bc I absolutely hate arugula. So glad they were flexible with that. The scotch egg was a popular dish to try also. And we were not disappointed. Definitely a must try while visiting this place. Overall, the food was awesome. This brewery is within the Pompano Citi Centre shopping plaza, and I had never even noticed it before! We stopped in after shopping at the nearby Lowe's, and I really enjoyed my beer. I can't recall the name, but it was infused with raspberry syrup, giving it a nice sweetness. Our waitress was also great. I will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. read more
