My friend and I have decided to check out our local breweries and this is stop #2. On a Saturday night. We sat at the bar and started off with a light beer and took a Quick Look at the menu thru the QR code available on the bar. I think the bartenders could be a little more attentive to newbie's, which is my only critique. It took awhile for anyone to ask if we wanted food. We ordered the pretzel with a side of beer cheese and it was really good, I don't think the beer cheese side is worth it though. I really want to go back and try the scotch egg because I've always been curious about those. I also noticed shepherds pie on the menu that will be another must when we go back. When we left about 9pm I noticed a band outside and it seemed like a good scene. I'll definitely go back and enjoy that live music.

Non-alcoholic. They make this with lemon, bitters and something else. Looks interesting

Here I am. Stubbled upon this place on the way to find TJ Max in this shopping center I've never been to. 4:15-ish and they have business. I peeked into the window, and the server on the patio greeted me with a smile. It's really the reason I decided to enter(was gonna eat Indian, next door). Mmmmm. I ordered a couple of things to-go, because I prob won't finish both. Bartender suggested Karagge Chicken. Japanese fried chix with a small side salad(extra??$). Mmm. Good. I think it's an app. Spicy sauce not too(yay-he was right). Pizza sauce is tasty, but loose(GF caulif crust). Cheese is good. Cooked perfectly. Hey. 25 min in and the crust is still good! Bonus! Oh! I sampled 2 IPAs, west Coast and hazy. Both delish. Hazy is a bit more sour. Apparently an event is coming up Burns Fest. Jan 16th(Sat) Haggis pizza, bagpipes etc. so glad I stopped in! I hope they live on FOREVER! (BTW, they make beer here! What!!!?)

WALD MEISTER SOUR ALE 5.2%

A Pompano Beach brewery with sleek modern decor, offering beer, eats and fun throwback board games including Monopoly, Yahtzee and Taboo. The brewery's open layout makes it feel like a welcoming, casual place to hang out. The unique presentation of shots in mini laboratory beakers adds a quirky touch. The Waldmeister Sour 5.8% was Berliner Weisse flavored with sweet woodruff (my favorite). The El Corte Dorado was an interesting brew with its oak tequila aging and strong 8.7% ABV - definitely not for the faint of heart! The friendly and knowledgeable staff, like the owner Adam and bartender "Q," seem to make the experience even better. The huge beer vats being right at the door gives that authentic brewery vibe, and it's great that they offer Beer To Go, allowing patrons to take a piece of the experience home with them. The food menu is mainly Gluten Free and Vegetarian, offering a decent variety of eats including Artisanal Pizzas, Salads and Global Street Food - beer cheese griddled sandwich for $8.00. The $5 happy hour is weekdays 4p - 6p. A spot with a lot of character and personality and I will be back.

I stopped by tonight for Dangerous Minds 5th Anniversary Party featuring music from the North End Rockers. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza with the new Von Bingen American IPA * 6.8% Juniper and sage, traditionally used to cleanse the body and spirit. They can't claim that it is true, but blended together they make for a tasty spiced IPA. For dessert, I had to have the Mint Chocolate Bread Pudding, mint chocolate bread pudding served with vanilla bean gelato, mmmmmmmmm soooooo deciduous!

Came here on a whim, after visiting the Pompano Beach pier. It was only nine minutes away. And it may not seem like much given that it is in a small strip mall, but I've had the best beers here. I have tried Cocobana, Suave (twice, that's how good it is) and the Phenakistoscope, while my fiance had the Willi's Wheat, Stein of Ein, and ended with Suave (yup, that amazing). We had already eaten, so we didn't get to try the food. But the pictures and reviews of all the food looked really good! We would love to come back to get more of that Suave beer and try the food! My favorite part of this brewery is that they offer "tasters" which are 4oz shooters but they uniquely come in cute lab beakers! I sometimes get too full easily on a pint, so I like that I was able to try different beers in a smaller scale. Overall, I didn't have a beer I didn't like and I want to try the rest of the beer menu and food!!

I had such a great time here. I found this place as I was looking for a different brewery. This one just so happened to be closer. The beertender was friendly and great with recommendations. The food was very delicious. I ordered Scotch Eggs and a Grilled Cheese with Beer Cheese. While it was a bit difficult to find this place at first I'm very happy that I checked it out. Can't wait to go back.

Blood orange saison

Stumbled upon this gem today! Truly deserves more than 5 stars for everything. Like the other yelpers mentioned this place has it all. You feel like a regular even if it's your first time. Conversation at the bar about travels, food and South FL overpopulation was incredible. The saison and the lamb wrap were the perfect pairing too. I wish I lived closer to try more of their menu. Looking forward to the next time!

Japanese chicken thighs

Great selection of beers and food. Wonderful service . So many choices on the menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Outdoor and indoor seating. Definitely recommend.

Ok so much fun! Great food and beer selection. Inside and outdoor seating with a live band. Service was cool and just an all around great time. I had a vegan pizza for the first time and it was amazing!!!

Beer Flight!

Dangerous minds was a super cool spot we found on our way home. They were having a Liverpool watch party and seemed like a Liverpool bar in general. Cool for those into that. Their beers were decent but the flight glasses were top notch. Servers were nice and we'll definitely be back.

TINY ASS PIZZA looks bigger in the pic than it was. FR so small for $16. Green onions? & corn??? uh close down or get a new chef

Absolutely not. I was so pissed leaving here. IDK how this is rated almost 5 stars the reviews must be fake or from ppl who like no flavor in their food, and like to be ripped off. I came because it said they had happy hour..... oh wow $1 off beer or wine. What a joke. Didn't know that until I already was seated. I ordered their only white wine option and it was the cheapest wine tasted like trash. They only have 4 food options for happy hour and none were a good option. Nothing on the menu was really appealing... Their "artisanal" pizzas were all very weird flavor combos, none looked good. The ONLY option you can order is a 10" personal pizza for $15. WHAT A RIP OFF. When my pizza came out it was the smallest pizza i've ever seen. I'm not even kidding it was so small I ate all of it and I never can eat more than 3 slices of pizza. It was NOT a 10" pizza. I ordered the "dangerous pizza of the day" which was supposed to come with spreadable sausage (gross), cheese, server said red onions, and hot honey. I subbed pepperoni instead with all the other stuff on it. It was $16. The crust was BURNT, I like some char, but it was overcooked. Took the first bite and how tf did it taste like nothing. I seriously had to pour half of the oregano & red pepper flake bottles over the pizza for it to taste like anything. You could barely even taste the honey.... and it was not hot. I was so mad that I wasted money on this place it was $30 for only myself, and I still left hungry. DONT GO HERE. There is way better food for that price. It was also so dark inside, no lights on it was weird the ambiance was ... nothing boring and cheap. Just overall horrible experience

Ask the Community - Dangerous Minds Brewing Company

Do you have vegan cheese or options? Thanks!

Yes, we have Violife cheese

So you allow dogs?

We love it when customers bring their furry friends, however since we are also a restaurant we can't allow them inside, unfortunately. That being said we have plenty of covered outside seating and always a water bowl on hand for your pet.

I'm gonna start by saying I have no idea why I've never been to Invasive Species Brewing before…read more It's right in my neighborhood and so good. Stopped by on a Friday afternoon shortly after they opened and decided to do a beer flight. I went with four IPAs but couldn't decide which ones, so the bartender offered to pick her four favorites for me. She did a great job. I liked all of them, and the one called rocket was completely different from the rest, which I really liked. They also had a food truck outside, so we grabbed some fried pickles with the beer. Super chill vibe, great service, and definitely a place I'll be back to very soon.

We arrived at Invasive Species Brewing right at 2 pm, the moment the doors opened. The place was…read morecalm, unforced, like it was easing into the day with intention. We were welcomed by the assistant brewer, genuinely friendly, curious, and generous with his time. Before we even ordered, he poured a few samples and talked us through them. No sales pitch, no rush. Just pride in the beer and a desire to share it. We went for a full beer flight next. Every beer worked. Not a single miss. The sours stood tall, especially the Guava Pastelito. I expected fruit, and yes, it was there. What I did not expect was the cream cheese note and the unmistakable pastry dough character. It tasted like someone translated a pastelito into liquid form. Bold, strange, controlled. Truly unique. Outside, the food truck was already in motion, so we ordered sliders and fries for lunch. The fries were exactly what fries should be. Shoestring cut, crispy, hot, clean. Perfect execution. The sliders were something else entirely. The bun to meat ratio was dead on. Melted cheese hugging the patty, the sharp bite of pickle cutting through the richness, the meat crisp on the outside and juicy inside. No gimmicks, no excess. Just balance. We paired them with a lager from the tap, and that combination hit hard. To be honest, this was one of the best burger and beer moments I have had in my twenty five years living in the United States. A match that felt inevitable, like these things were meant to be consumed together, but only here. We had taken the Brightline up from Miami and spent the afternoon walking around Fort Lauderdale, tasting different breweries, letting the day unfold. Yet this stop stayed with us. Especially the White Oak IPA, Lokals Only. Clean, layered, and quietly confident. Sublime. The whole experience landed like a Michelin star meal, not because it was fancy, but because nothing was out of place. Everything had a reason. Everything worked. Balance, restraint, and care from the first pour to the last bite. This is not just a brewery. It is a moment done right.
