Abbey was fantastic! We had two TVs to mount, but before doing so we needed old cable drops relocated, as well as new cable drops and electrical outlets installed. Abbey first came over on a Sunday to do all of the cabling and electrical work. He then offered to return free of charge to mount the TVs once all of the painting had been completed. Throughout the process Abbey was extremely courteous and his technical expertise is unsurpassed. Abbey is a nice guy who took his time to carefully install our TV. He was very responsive in setting up an appointment and arrived on time. We appreciate that he wore shoe covers and brought sheets to avoid tracking things in our house and keep the area he was working in clean. We found out about Abbey and his company through a Meridian building in Arlington and we had a great experience with them. They were easy to reach, punctual, respectful, well mannered and very knowledgeable. They mounted to the walls of our apartment a 65" OLED LG with the SJ9 soundbar and subwoofer, and a 55" Vizio without any issues. Everything is secured and perfectly leveled, and there aren't any visible cables! They also made sure to leave 2 additional HDMI cables like I asked so I can plug more devices without a problem or having to route extra cables myself. I will definitely use them again when I move, they were absolutely great! P.S.: we still need to put some furniture under the tv but everything looks perfect even without it! read more

Abbey is the fucking best! I had a 70" Samsung curved with a swivel mount, Apple TV, Cable box, Smartlight bridge, internet router, and another wifi bridge that he stacked perfectly behind the TV. For $50 he put the wires in the wall (concrete wall, not even drywall) and it looks amazing. He even consulted on my planned setup considering my TV is in the corner of the room and made for an awkward angle. After all that, he stayed an extra ten minutes for a free consultation and estimate on my basement entertainment center. RUM AV Solution was phenomenal! I was looking to run the wires behind walls, mount a projector and a projector screen, and install the sound system. Reached out to multiple contractors, but none of them, except RUM, were responsive. Abdallh (the owner) replied to me within hours and had been very approachable via email and phone. He provided me with an initial quote after our phone conversation, and then agreed to have a site visit. Later on, Abhallh came, and assessed the LOE and decided to lower the quote because of the less complexity. I really appreciated his honesty and that's how people should do business! He offered a lot of invaluable advice from theater system selection, placement of the receiver, to wiring options. Abdallh was super knowledgeable and very patient despite my countless number of questions. On the project day, Abdallh and another technician (Sean, I believe) arrived on time and presented themselves professionally. I was very fortunate to found Rum AV and Abdallh to fix a sub-par nightmare that a previous contractor left in my house. His professionalism and his personality shined when compared to my previous experience. I explained to Abdallh the work I wanted to have done in my house, that included non-wireless distribution of Ethernet in multiple rooms, telephone lines and TV connections without any hanging wires showing around the house. This was a simple project for Abdallh, who had to start first with a complete dismantling of the whole unprofessional work done by the previous contractor. Nothing was a problem for him, pleasant and polite, he came in the morning on time, and after two days of calm work - the entire work was completed with accuracy and perfectionism. Not a single cable was visible around the house and all media and line sources were perfectly working. Unlike the previous contractor who charged me with 60% of the charges in advance, Abdallh did not charge even not one dollar in advance, and only after completing the work to my 100% satisfaction, he charged me by fold less than the previous sub-par contractor. This is a company to keep for the long term -- Abdallh is the only person for me to call for additional media wiring work that I may need for my house in the future. read more

Not only did Rum AV offer the best price, they were able to schedule a same day appointment for me. Because my project was pretty extensive, the tech even offered to come back in the evening to finish the job (he had to head to another scheduled appointment late in the afternoon). He was very considerate with asking where I wanted the TVs placed and even suggested the best way to mount my TV above the fireplace without exposing the wires. We had used Abbey before and contacted him again to move two outlets and mount a tv for us. Because there was no outlet on the wall that we were mounting the tv on, the job became more complicated than originally thought. Abbey had to rework an outlet from the basement upstairs to our office. He explained all the options of how to get the tv mounted and what would look best. He even made sure the tv was mounted with a line of sight right over our computer so your head won't even have to move to see it. He really went the extra mile and came to our house on a Sunday afternoon to do the project. After all the work, he honored the original quote, even with all the extra work and time he had to put in.
