We love the Rum Room! Come after The Bass or the botanical gardens. Great happy hour and very nice staff.

Conveniently located on the grounds of the Miami Convention Center. Good food and great service. The manager John was super kind. He gave me a container of fresh cut fruit when I mentioned to him that I was staying in a nearby hotel and I preferred to find fresh fruit rather to having dessert.

We were staying nearby and decided to try Rum Runner for happy hour. Christian and Alex were very attentive and took very good care of us. We sat outside on a quaint patio while we listened to the sounds of a single vocal entertainor. All in all it was very enjoyable!

Well, I waited WAYYYY too long to visit this place I had driven by numerous times. We wanted a place to sit outside, have good drinks, good food and nice music - Rum Room literally checked off all the boxes. 100%. John greeted us on arrival. Such an incredibly nice Manager. Then we ordered some custom drinks/apps with Sebastian and Christian. These guys CRUSH it with smiles and service! Made it such a nice vibe. Then the live music started at 6pm, this woman sang a mix of Latin and American songs with her guitar. Again - what a vibe. We will definitely be back, those Yuca Fries and Old Cuban drinks are calling us!

Cute little restaurant we found to go to on our way to a concert at the Fillmore. Part  of Miami Spice and had a great prix fixe menu to choose from for $45 that included app, entree, dessert. The service was excellent. They had a great craft cocktail menu and tasty original drinks... Our food all tasted great and everything was seasoned perfectly... The only complaint I had, which is a pretty big deal to me if I'm eating a steak, was the temperature of my steak...I'm surprised it wasn't for the chef, tbh... I requested my steak to be medium rare and received it well done.. I did advise the waitress and received an apology and just ate it. Again, it was beautifully seasoned and we were needing to get to our concert.

Wow! So impressed with this place! Definitely a great addition to the Miami Beach area. It's away from the craziness of the beach, has a parking garage right in front ($10 with validation), and best of all has incredible food, drinks, and wonderful service. The bartender Anton was amazing he made us off menu drinks to our liking and they were all incredible! Let him make you a fun drink, you'll love his creations. The service was fantastic, the waiter, the manager, the food runners, the chef were all so kind and helpful. Now let's talk about the main event the food. We truly loved everything we tried. Here's what we got: - Maduro Bread - such a unique flavor combination, loved the butter - Wild Fish Crudo - fresh and a great sauce - Caribbean Caesar Salad - don't sleep on this one this is a GOOD Caesar - Pan con bistec - this is not your typical pan con bistec it's a gourmet version with high quality beef. Delicious. - Corn - this was like a corn off the cob that was amazing. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Such a hidden gem! My favorite cocktail during my weekend in Miami Beach was from Rum Room, but I can't remember what it was called as the mixologist told us it was new to the menu. It was made with Mezcal and had a smoked Tajin rim. The fish dip nachos were delicious and great to share as was the Caribbean Caesar salad. Our table of 5 shared a bunch of different plates and loved it all. Plus the entire staff was friendly.

I'm a local. I'm COMIN' BACK!!! GREAT if your at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Not crowded. PERFECT!! Right by its lonesome corner off of Washington Ave, just before you reach Dade Blvd (Northern corner of Miami Beach Convention). This a place that Pirate's of the Carribean's Captain Jack Sparrow, Hector Barbosa and Will Turner would have enjoyed back in their day. GREAT Ambience GREAT FULL BAR and GREAT Food LIVE MUSIC Mitch "Mitchell" the General Manager, is a Captain in his own right. GREAT ATTITUDE. He has the place looking GREAT, clean with a ... GREAT Staff He gave me and my partner a tour of the entire place, even the event room. Definitely coming back. Bringing my wife.

Stumbled into Bar Luca on Miami Beach during happy hour and walked out genuinely impressed,…read moreespecially given how rare it is to find specials this good in this part of town. Happy hour clocks in at $12 for food, $12 for all house cocktails, $10 spritzes, and a flat $6 for all beer, which in Miami Beach feels almost suspicious in the best way possible. I kept it simple with an ice cold Peroni while my wife went for the Giardino 75, a gorgeous little spritz built on Empress Indigo Gin, St. Germain, mint, lime, and prosecco. She loved it. The color alone was worth the ten bucks, but it actually drank as good as it looked. For food we shared the Bolognese Grilled Cheese and let me tell you, this thing punches well above its $12 price tag. Thick cut brioche toast, griddled until the edges go deep golden brown, stacked over a rich slow simmered bolognese with cheese pulling through every bite. Dusted with parmesan and fresh herbs, plated with cherry tomato skewers that added a nice little pop of acidity. Comfort food dressed up for a night out. Service was attentive and easy, drinks came quick, plates came hot, and nobody made us feel rushed even sitting through happy hour. The room itself has that playful Sicilian energy with the Moor head planters and bright touches throughout, which fits the vibe of the menu perfectly. Would I make a special trip back to Miami Beach for it? Probably not from Fort Myers, but if you're already in the area during happy hour, this is one of the better values you'll find on the beach. Solid four stars. Good drinks, good food, great specials, and service that actually showed up.

Bar Luca is basically a small lobby bar/restaurant in a boutique hotel in Miami Beach. We came for happy hour to try a few different things which neither of us loved. The Chicken Wings seemed reheated and were small. The meatball was a single, and was a small portion for the price, especially considering happy hour. The drinks were ok and the staff friendly, so adding a star for that but not memorable enough for me to return.

I ordered the rock shrimp - five small grilled shrimp (about 3 cm long), served in their shells. They came cut in half with a tasty sauce, but without any side dish, for $30. As we later found out, that was considered just an appetizer. We decided not to order anything else and left after about 40 minutes. From what I understand, the menu is different on the other days. But on that day, we found the experience unacceptable.

There's everything from a hammock to standard outdoor furniture. We ordered a few drinks throughout the night, thoughts on all: - Breakfast in the Moonlight: delicious, tastes like a tiki drink, easy to drink and balanced -East of Eden: I didn't love this one as much but the bartender recommended it so it must be popular. It gives me cucumber water at the spa vibes but in a cocktail form. -Always Summer Negroni: I absolutely loved this drink! My favorite one of the night. So cool because it's a clear drink. Really nicely balanced cocktail, not too bitter. -La Bamba Colada: Tastes like a piña colada! But not overly sweet. No dairy for my fellow lactose intolerant friends (just coconut milk). At some point we also ordered a salad, the Shaker Salad with mahi mahi - I liked it! Friendly bartender and staff and overall great place to stop in and grab a drink! They have pretty reasonable prices too.

After walking around the grounds for a time, I spotted this bar and decided I was ready for a drink. I was not exceptionally well dressed, but I was very pleased to be welcome to warmly by the staff when I sat down. I was given a cocktail menu and given all the time I needed to make a thoughtful decision. I was also pleased that the staff didn't hover once the drink was prepared. They were certainly attentive if needed, but they weren't interrupting my experience at the same time. This bar goes back to opening day for the hotel, and I'm very pleased that they've maintained the original chandelier and the overall feel of this bar. The drinks are expensive, but if you've been to Las Vegas or New York City the prices won't shock you that much. With a bar this well stocked I would be shocked if there's a drink they can't accommodate. I ordered a cucumber based item off the menu and found it to be absolutely delightful. This is the sort of experience that you only get to have a first time with once, so I'm hesitant to come back as it might spoil the memory I have of this place. That said I would definitely come back if given the chance.
