    Burrata, calamari

Great experience at Orilla! Stopped in on a Saturday night without revelations and got a seat at the bar, no problem (was a bit dead due to spring break and people avoiding area). The server was attentive and we tried an array of options. The fresh baked sourdough bread came warm and was amazing! The burrata lacked a bit in flavor but the calamari was perfectly prepared and tasty! As for entrees, we had prime rib and 8oz filet- both which were flavorful. The gravy with the steak truly made the dish. I did have to send the steak back to cook a bit more to medium once I was at center of meat but no issues with that request. They also have a nice drink menu with a variety of options. The dark lighting and ambiance is great for date night! I would definitely recommend and return.

    Ribeye - very undercooked

The restaurant has a very nice ambience, and our waitress was lovely. Our meals started off very good with a delicious Caesar salad and homemade bread. However, both my filet mignon and my husband's ribeye came out very undercooked. We ordered medium and they came out rare. They took both of the steaks back and brought them back out, and mine was still very undercooked. They did comp my meal, but at that point, I was already tired of sitting there and did not want anything else. We were disappointed because we had high hopes and we were letdown on the main course.

For those interested in using the Chase 75 off 150 credit in conjunction with Miami Spice, I would say it's an ok use, but without the credit, wildly overpriced for the food quality. The streaky wine glasses were the first thing I noticed, which isn't a great start. The flank steak was quite tough with a medium cook, unrested with juice pooling out, and the fries had that frozen taste to them. The beef empanada dough was spectacular and the filling not bad either. Probably the highlight of the meal. The short rib ravioli had a truffle oil flavor that went too far (although all truffle oil does). Tostada app was interesting and good overall. Flan was nice and what you would expect, and the pavlova was different and not bad, though lacking that pillowy quality in the middle. It's and 80 dollar meal IMHO, so the credit helps, but 150 is absurd. Lovely servers though.

My boyfriend and I came here for a Miami Spice date night and loved the entire experience. The atmosphere is intimate and stylish, perfect for a night out. For drinks, I ordered the Tango, which is their creative twist on an espresso martini--smooth, bold, and a little different in the best way. My boyfriend got the Del Oeste, which was refreshing and balanced, a great contrast to mine. We started with the beef empanada and the tostada mexicana--both full of flavor and beautifully presented. For our mains and desserts, we decided to share so we could try more, and everything was well-prepared and delicious. Service was friendly, and the pacing of the meal let us really enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Between the food, drinks, and overall vibe, Orilla really delivered on making the night feel special. Definitely a place we'd come back to, whether for another Miami Spice menu or to explore the rest of their offerings.

Restaurant is beautiful, service was impeccable, food blew us away, from the salads through the appetizers to the steaks that are made over charcoal to the delicious desserts, everything was 10 out of 10, highly recommended

Another Great Time at Orilla Once again, we had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday here, and this time it was for my brother. From the moment we were greeted by the lovely hostess to the warmth of our table, we had such a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Ludo, brought such a positive energy and offered fantastic suggestions; she practically crafted our entire meal, and every dish was exceptional. My Branzino was simply a delight, complemented perfectly by the fresh tomato salad, and the steak was incredibly juicy. And the drink she put her spin on was so good I have forgotten the name but it had Mezcal and it was somewhat sour but sweet! The birthday dessert was such a thoughtful touch, just the right amount to share. We had an unforgettable time, and I definitely plan to return, especially considering how well we were treated. Oh, and I can't believe I almost forgot to mention the Hot Bread--it's a must-try, and I promise you won't regret it!

Had dinner here on a Monday, the server explained our options and the steak cooking process well. The dimmed lights are my favorite, it gives privacy but illuminating in all the right places. Great steak!

Ludo did a great job. She made us feel welcomed , she was very knowledgeable and descriptive about the menu. We celebrated our engagement and she gave us great suggestions for honeymooners in Italy. Overall the food and service was great, we will come back next time we are in miami

Black Rice, Prime Rib Eye Steak / 16oz, French Fries Provenal,

From friendly servers to amazing looking and tasting food, Orilla has it all. Great ambiance, delicious appetizers and a perfectly cooked steak are what I've come to expect. The black rice, and octopus were stand outs. The house made Chimi with the steak was great. They also make a terrific old fashioned!

I went to Orilla a couple of weeks ago for my sister's bday and we had a great time! The restaurant had a dj and the music was great for a Friday night dinner party! I will say that although our server was very nice and polite, the service was a little slow, especially to receive our first drinks, which took about 20 minutes for her to even come to the table. But I do feel like it was made for in other ways and everyone from the staff that we encountered was lovely. The drinks and the food were all good and we enjoyed all of it. My favorite was the black squid ink rice, which is probably one of the best rice dishes I've had in a long time. Im not a huge dessert fan, but the baked alaska was delicious too. I will def be back here. I loved the vibes!

We had reservations here for dinner one of the nights we were in Miami. It did not disappoint. The interior was dark and moody and it had a DJ spinning tunes. Service was kind of hit or miss and our server seemed to switch towards the end of the meal even though our original server was still there helping other tables. The flank steak was good but the brussel sprouts were delightful. Best part of the meal.

    Chilean Sea Bass

This restaurant is located in the previous China grill location. Place was nicely renovated with background house/lounge music that does not overpower one's conversation at the table. Ordered the octopus ceviche(amazing) and empanadas(spinach, in my opinion, was way better than the meat). For main course, we had the Chilean sea bass which was perfectly cooked, buttery, and simply delicious. The petite filet was also flavorful and cooked as ordered. As for side dishes we had the Brussels sprouts and the fries which were ok, but not great and would not definitely recommend as the rest of the dishes. Overall, an enjoyable experience, nice ambiance, and good food

I looked over at the rest of my party and told them that we had to eat there. We made our way to the host and ask for seating inside... well, I was wearing a ball cap, so I wasn't allowed to dine inside, but the roadside seating was offered... hey, I understand rules of apparel, but when you are appealing to "World Cup" fans... you could do worse than someone wearing just a ball cap. I understand that rules are rules, so I was satisfied with where we were seated at... besides, I was excited with the great smells that were emanating from inside of the restaurant. As I began to look at the menu, I will admit that I was a little shocked with the prices of the cuisine, but I got to thinking that this could be a high end joint, I was ok with it. I was financially prepared. A female server came over to our table and asked to take our drink order. I guess I must have offended her when she offered to serve us Aqua Panna water in the liter bottle for $12.00 a bottle, and my response was that my country raising refused to let me pay $12.00 a bottle for water, especially when you can order a case of it off of Amazon for $36.00 for a case of twelve bottles. I decided that I would settle for a good old southern staple of "sweet tea" to drink, which was seconded by another person in my group, while the third person decided to have a Sprite. Our server left us to go and fill our drink order and finally made her way back to us after about 15 minutes of being gone to advise us, that the "bar" informed her that they no longer had any sweet tea for the night. The time was 9:30pm and they were open for business till 12:00am, so I was a bit set back by this, but I wanted a steak. I ended up ordering a plain old tap water to drink because, well, I was not going to pay $12 for a bottle of water... I was not dying of thirst yet. So we ended up getting a lemonade brought to the table, a glass of water, and an eight ounce glass bottle of Sprite, at $5.00 a bottle. We got our drinks, so now let's talk about our food. I ordered a 14 ounce New York Strip steak, medium well... I'm getting older and don't digest uncooked food so well anymore, sadly. The rest of my party ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and the third finished off with the chicken parm plate. Our sides that we ordered were roasted brussel sprouts, and a loaded baked potato without chives. Now comes the good part... if you are still here, you are going to find out if they can cook a good steak or not... Well, we got our food after another lengthy wait. Now let me tell you, the guy who brought our food gave me one of the most beautiful cuts of steak that I think I have ever seen. It was definitely a New York Strip. I could already tell from the juices running in my plate that my steak was definitely undercooked. I looked over at my party's food and see the chicken parm, and I'm telling it looked and smelled great. The filet mignon smelled great but it appeared to be over cooked. From what I could tell, it looked like the cook got the order backwards. We cut into the respective steaks and my suspicion was right, the Filet Mignon was over cooked and the New York Strip was way undercooked. At this time, it is getting late. It is after 10pm and I had just finished a six hundred mile drive, I would have eaten my shoe if it was served right. I cut into my steak and began eating it. There was no flavor on the meat at all, I guess they don't use seasoning, other than the grilled garlic clove, that is to be used when eating the steak. I did get to taste the filet mignon, and it had way more flavor thank New York Strip. Sadly, I must have drawn the short straw on this meal. I was hungry and I was refusing to let a $70 steak go to waste, so I ate the entire cut of this steak. To bring this to a close I want to address the billing. They added a service charge to the receipt, which is something I have been used to if there was a large party, but for them to serve three people, I felt we should have been the once's to decide on the amount of the tip we leave our serve. This is to keep the server honest and make sure they take of the customer. The odd thing is I usually tip over 20 percent because I have family who are part of hospitality business. They make their living on tips. This night it didn't total up to what normally give... I was not inclined to give it either. I understand the goal is to make money, but I am a believer in taking care of your customer...Maybe it was the way I was dressed, or how I sounded with my southern draw, I feel like this restaurant really misread me and my group
