They had light Spanish music playing in the background, which added a nice touch and made the atmosphere feel like a little escape to Colombia. We started with fresh juices. I ordered the sugarcane juice and really enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet in taste, even though sugarcane naturally has a high sugar content. My friend ordered the coconut lemonade. I tried a sip, and it was perfect -- especially for warm weather. You could clearly taste both the coconut and the lemonade, which blended together really well. By the time we arrived it was a bit late for breakfast, so we decided to try lunch instead. We both ordered the Caribbean tacos, and let me tell you -- they did not disappoint. The greens paired beautifully with the tacos, and the sauce was perfectly balanced and topped with sesame seeds. The pickled onions added an extra layer of flavor that really brought everything together. Whenever I'm back in town, I will definitely return. My friend already said she plans to come back to try the breakfast next time.

They renovated and everything is much nicer inside. Area is much bigger and modern. They have indoor seating with a huge covered patio and a playground for kids. Over the years their quality, flavor and good customer service has remained consistent. They treat you like family. I love that they offer a dish called Tipiquito it is a smaller version of the traditional Colombian dish known an 'Bandeja Paisa'. Not all Colombian restaurants offer this smaller version. I am happy to share about my experience when I helped coordinate a work event to feature Colombian food and I secured a catering order with Gran Colombia! They were quick to help me over the phone, they answered all my questions, they were willing to make the drive to memorial area to deliver the food. Every single step to complete the order was so easy and received the best customer service. Everyone was very happy with the food and service. I will always recommend Gran colombia! It is a must try! Friendly and clean establishment…read more I placed an order to go. It took them about 15 minutes to get ready. I ordered yuca & chicharron as well as beans, crema and ripe plantains plate. The yuca was good. The chicharron was more like chunks of pork. The beans portion on other plate was on the small side. The ripe plantains were perfectly cooked. The two red sauces were spicy and oh so much more spicier. I am also posting the most recent menu as the ones here are outdated.
