    V2 F.

I've been going to Rumble Boxing through ClassPass about 2 to 3 times a month after work, and it has quickly become one of my favorite ways to break up my regular gym routine. Every class is a great time. Sometimes I go with a friend, but even when I go solo, I always leave feeling stronger and more energized. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and bring a ton of positive energy. The other people in class are welcoming too, which makes the whole experience even better. It's often the highlight of my week. Whether you're a boxing pro or trying it for the first time, you can move at your own pace and still get a great workout. If you're looking for a fun class that challenges you and makes you sweat, Rumble is absolutely worth trying. It's a knockout.

Last month, I was interested in taking a class with my friends, so I created an account. For the past 6 weeks, they have sent me bizarre text messages that are supposed to be encouraging...? As well as calling me constantly off of different numbers and leaving me voicemails. I have an extremely busy schedule, and fully intended to book a class once I was able to sort out my schedule, but their constant annoying outreach has completely turned me off to taking a class here and I will never patronize this business. Please rethink how you reach out to future potential customers because what you are doing now is not professional or welcoming.

I took the full body class with JT and she worked us good! It was a high intensity class for about 45 minutes where we rotated between the boxing bags and floor weights. I was sweating bullets and felt like I got a great workout. JT motivated us and played great music and changed the lights to get us in the zone. I also appreciated the high ventilation especially because we are moving so much. They provide clean towels, wipes and free lockers to store your items. The restrooms were also clean and spacious. Everyone here was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend coming here! Parking is free and it's located in an up-and-coming location. I purchased the buy one get one free class for $35 and I am interested in taking more classes!

Rumble boxing you kicked my butt! All the instructors were amazing and full of energy pushing us to give it our best! I loved Candice! She was hyping everyone up & loved her upbeat playlist! I have been recommending this place to friends because it's a great way to jazz up your workout routine. It's a very fun class! 100/10 would recommend. Staff is super friendly and welcoming! On my first class day they wrote welcome Ana on my locker! Which was an awesome touch because sometimes you get a lil nervous before a class (I went by myself) but that cute little detail made me overcome that. So S/O the staff for making the first class pretty welcoming! The location is very clean! They do provide towels which is pretty nice! Parking garage is right next to it as well which is really nice! I had no issue with parking doing the 6 am classes. Definitely will be booking future classes with rumble!

My original review was going to be 4 stars because I do like a few of the instructors (Valeria, Martin, Isaiah). However, their membership cancellation policy is shady and the front desk person gives off a condescending tone. From what I read, their cancellation policy is to give a 30-day written notice and then your membership should be cancelled. NOPE. They told me once I gave my 30-day notice, it's one more additional billing cycle before it officially cancels. I gave a written notice 5/20, so my membership should've been cancelled on 6/19 (a day before my membership renews). I saw that reflected in my rumble account but then on 6/20 I get charged the additional month. So basically you need to give them maybe a 2 months heads up so they don't try to force you to buy one more month :)

I guess it's time for a review now that I've done at least 125 classes. I've been to all the instructors' classes at least three times each - with the exception of their latest trainer (Jose) who literally just started this week. I hope this means that there will be more timeslots available in the future. Unlike the other reviews, I don't have other studios to compare this location to. I do agree that the space is small, and it's a bummer that there's no shower stalls (even though it doesn't impact me). However, they've listened to feedback and removed a few bags to making the boxing area more spacious. It is still hard to see the monitor from a few bagging station, so I'd suggest choosing the bag numbers closest to the center of the room if you're new. They've been offering "buy one get one free class" for the last few months, so it's worth trying it out if you're hesitant. I managed to get 2 of my friends to try a class with me + 1 other friend joined. I like their themed classes the most, especially the ones that allows us to try a variety of punching style. I hope they bring them back. Also, it'd be cool if they offer more members events (like the holiday potluck). As for which instructors to choose...well, they all got different style. Martin - My first Rumble class instructor & I've been going to his Thursday noon classes pretty consistently. He shares boxing tips and fun facts. His classes are chill with a focus on techniques. When he warns us that we'll be sore the next day, he's always right. JT - Go to her class if you want to pushhhhh yourself. All the instructors are energetic, but JT will consistently hype you up and make sure you are pushing yourself. She also walks around the room often to make sure we have the proper forms, which I know is very important for a lot of people, but that also mean no half-assing any exercises while she's around. Candice - I've been going to her Tuesday noon classes consistently as well. I think she's the only instructor that makes sure we don't bump our head on the bags. She'll give additional "challenges" to the more advanced Rumblers during the exercises. Valeria - Recently, I've been going to her 5V5 classes. I think it's a fun format since switching is sometimes a hassle. She also takes her time to explain about the proper form for each exercises. Isaiah - He's superrrr energetic. It's impressive that he doesn't need water at all because he was talking/moving/jumping around the whole time during class. Since I mainly go to his boxing-only classes, I've often see him helping us hold the bags down while we punch. I appreciate him taking his time during the cool down & leading us through long stretches. Jaime - I've been seeing her more often lately since she's starting to teach later in the day now + I see her in the studio even when she's not teaching. Her pacing of the class is great, and she will make sure you're not giving up. Whenever I see her outside class, she's often smiling/greeting us. Paul - He's also a chill trainer with a focus on techniques. I haven't been to as many of his classes since they're mostly in the early mornings nowadays, but I like that he does long stretches with us during cool down.

Unfortunately, F45 Sunnyvale feels like a major outlier -- and not in a good way. I'm genuinely surprised this studio is still operating under the F45 name, because the experience here doesn't reflect the same standards I've come to expect. Trainers at this location don't demonstrate exercises live, they just mirror the video playlist from an iPad onto the TV screen and leave it at that. One coach in particular gave off the impression of being completely new to the F45 environment -- they didn't look or carry themselves like a trainer at all, and there was no engagement or technique correction throughout the session. It made the class feel unstructured and even unsafe at times. The equipment and studio upkeep also leave a lot to be desired. The space feels gritty and worn down, lacking the clean, energized environment that most F45s provide. I couldn't help but compare it to F45 Branham Park or F45 Mountain View, which are both far superior in terms of coaching, energy, and maintenance -- and they're priced similarly. If you're thinking of trying F45, do yourself a favor and explore one of the other nearby studios. Sunnyvale's location simply doesn't deliver on the brand promise, and I walked away feeling like I wasted both my time and money.

I am an amateur figure skater with specific athletic goals in mind when it comes to finding trainers, and 3FIT really stood out. When working with trainers, I hope for not only someone to keep me on track, but also someone I can learn from. The 3FIT team checks all the boxes. Marcel is very professional. He configures the gym in a way that any workout can be performed (be it fun or draining), and always keeps the clients' interests in mind by offering training advice, customizing programs, and providing a wide range of interesting group classes that welcome everyone to join. My main trainer, Smitha, further widens my horizons for training. Her background in yoga has helped me improve my flexibility and strength all at the same time. Specifically, do not ever take a class with the owner (Peter) if you have an injury and require a substitution for a specific movement. For example, I have a severe knee injury. The only thing that relieves my knee pain is the circular motion of riding a bike combined with the analgesic relief that cardio from bike riding has been proven to provide. Meanwhile, one morning, Peter refused to let me ride the gym's erg bike as a substitute for one of the standard movements, which happened to be Jumping rope. After he continued to refuse to let me substitute bike riding for jumping rope, I said out loud to him, "Peter. This is my body. My choice." And yet he still refused to let me ride the erg bike. So I walked out. And I asked via email for my membership to end Sept 18. Then I had a discussion with other coaches who would let me use the bike whenever I felt like it. They convinced me to stay on as a member. But Peter refused to let me keep my membership unless I agreed to do whatever substitutions Peter deemed appropriate. Peter also gave a long lecture to his staff that week, insisting no coach should let me use the erg bike when I ask for it. And then on the morning of August 4, I realized Peter had canceled my membership early because the app was trying to charge me a "drop in" price just to sign up for that morning's classes. When I asked him to reinstate my membership, even if it was just until the date I had originally requested of Sept 18, he refused. He said I could only stay a member if I had a meeting with him and agreed to comply with whatever terms and conditions HE so chooses. He hides behind the guise of his "specific training program backed by science". But that's such a joke. And he knows he's a joke. He knows most of the members hate him. It's obvious by the low attendance for classes that he coaches. And he's taking out his issues on me simply because he can. It's so infuriating because it's so obvious to me he's suffering from severe control issues brought on by his behavioral and severe personality disorders. If he really wanted to give me a proper substitute and cared about my longevity he'd perhaps suggest I throw a d-ball up against the wall and catch it. Or something to that effect. But instead he gives me BS moves like calf raises, while refusing to let me ride the erg bike. Meanwhile the other trainers are courteous and respectful and gracious and allow me to make whatever substitutions I want. The only problem is a lot of the coaches quit working here because Peter's behavior drives them away. So there's always someone "in training". He also wastes members' time and staff's time with long lectures before or after classes. And he refuses to change his ways--often arguing with members. He's disrespectful when he insists that a coach knows a members' needs better than the members does. I've noticed he also tries to train his younger staff with this same methodology: "a coach knows better about a member's body than the members". For me, that breaks a moral boundary. There's another incident where a member did not want to box because of her elbow injury. But he insisted she box. Of course, she then reinjured her elbow. And that to me is sickening. The workouts themselves can be somewhat good. But nothing makes up for Peter's terrible management style and the nonsense policies he tries to enforce. In summary, this gym is a disaster. And the owner is a disgrace to this franchise. Edit in response to Peter's comment on my review: Peter's talking about himself in the third person because he was the trainer that day. Also, Peter, that's obviously just cut-and-paste lip service. You're obviously grasping at straws to protect your bottom line. You absolutely do NOT care about your members whatsoever. And you do NOT wish me well in my health journey. You make it obvious you only care about one things: having ultimate control of your franchise and its members. And if you can't control them, then you cancel their membership. If you actually cared, you would not have cancelled my membership before I asked for it to end. The fact that you effectively kicked me out of your club before I wanted to quit simply because I wanted to use the erg bike as a substitute for whatever movement I so chose just goes to show how severely warped your behavioral and personality issues really are.
