I hardly had a wait, and Jane at the front desk made the new patient signup easy, and Marilyn cleaned my teeth thoroughly but gently, despite not having had my teeth cleaned in two years. Dr Ganim inspected my teeth, gave me some dental advice, the reasoning behind it, and what other dentists might tell me. I appreciated that he told me what was going on and why other dentists might say something different than his opinion. It made me feel like the decision was in my hands ultimately. Unlike any other dentist I've been to, Dr. Ganim checked my entire throat and mouth for other possible problems (like cancer). You could also tell that Dr. Ganim treats each patient like a close friend. Overall, easy and thorough cleaning and exam! Would recommend as a local dentist.

I had a very uncomfortable and concerning experience with this dental office and would strongly…read morecaution others before going here. I scheduled a new patient appointment approximately two months in advance. Prior to being seen, I was encouraged to enroll in the office's dental membership program months before my actual visit, which was unusual and, in hindsight, appears financially motivated rather than patient-focused. The appointment lasted close to two hours, yet I only spent approximately 20 minutes with the dentist. During that time, the dentist made unsolicited and unsubstantiated claims about my overall health, stating she could identify "gut issues" based on my appearance. She then strongly pressured me to see a specific outside provider charging approximately $1,600 per visit, and implied that any dental treatment would fail if I did not follow her recommendation. This was inappropriate, outside the standard scope of dental care, and presented in an alarmist and coercive manner. The interaction was distressing enough that I left the office in tears. After my appointment, I attempted multiple times to obtain information about my X-rays, recommended treatment, and an estimate of costs. I called the office approximately 10 times, and each time I was told that staff were unsure and would follow up, but I never received a clear response. I was eventually told that this information could not be provided over the phone, which had not been communicated to me previously. The lack of clear communication and inability to provide basic information about my treatment plan added to the overall confusion and frustration. Following this experience, I attempted to cancel the membership. My written cancellation request was ignored, and my card continued to be charged. I was only able to stop the charges by contacting the third-party provider (Clerri) directly. Only then did the office acknowledge the cancellation. I was not provided with any information indicating that cancellation had to be completed through a third-party provider, and this requirement was not clearly communicated to me. Even after cancellation, the office continued to send repeated messages attempting to schedule appointments, despite no indication that I wished to return. Subsequently, I was told I was responsible for paying the full cost of services (cleaning and X-rays) that had already been covered under the membership plan. When I requested written documentation or a policy supporting this retroactive billing, none was provided despite multiple requests. Attempting to charge patients for previously covered services without a clearly disclosed policy raises serious concerns regarding billing transparency and fairness. I did not receive or sign any documentation clearly stating that this was a yearly membership or that I would be financially responsible for the full cost of services if I chose to cancel early. The office also indicated that they would send the disputed balance to collections, despite not providing documentation supporting the charge. Additionally, the office failed to provide my dental records, including X-rays, after I requested them. The office indicated that records would be released once the balance was resolved, suggesting that access to records may be contingent on payment. Overall, this experience raises significant concerns regarding ethical standards, billing practices, and respect for patient rights. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before seeking care at this office.

I had to send while on the phone to make sure they received & even though they were recent (within 3 years) she still made me get a new xray I didn't need to make more money. They make it out to seem like they can reimburse through insurance but they don't and make you do all the work to reach out to insurance to get reimbursed which I never did because they never confirmed they were out of network. Never again.

I could not make that appointment so they said they had NOTHING ELSE and they put me on a call list. How many businesses do you know that do horrible work and then don't offer to fix it? This just proves what I already thought - that he has no backbone. I like people who stand behind their work, not blame people for their shortcomings. He's probably going to treat me like I did something to cause this filling to come off because that's who he is. And he'll probably also tell me that he didn't have an appointment because I missed one cleaning or something. This dentist is weird. He takes things personally and has zero social skills. Any good review you see on here will soon be somebody who is upset. They will cancel appointments on you and not reschedule and then make you feel horrible for not coming in and seeing them. They are very disorganized and their scheduling is archaic. There is a very bizarre culture in that office and it's not centered around the patient as it should be.

He is on a whole other level. I am grateful that he is passing his high level of skill along to dental students in his capacity as Professor at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr Wetreich's expertise and artistry are unmatched. He listens and takes great care to deliver upon a patient's expectations. The entire staff of his office, and the other practitioners to whom I was referred by him, are highly professional, talented, and kind people. I had quite a bit of work done, both to fix failing work done by other dentists and underlying problems that developed because of that. I am so pleased with the results of the project that, not only do I feel confident enough to smile again but I just bought red lipstick for the first time in 20 years!

I regret following his advice to remove a crowned, root-canal-treated wisdom tooth that two prior dentists had advised me to keep, as well as agreeing to a bite adjustment in January 2025. Afterward, I developed tooth sensitivity, lingering toothaches, and what I perceived as changes in my lower face and lips -- including sagging, a sunken appearance, and an aged look. From my perspective, these issues only began after the bite adjustment, and the treatment options I've been offered have been complex, costly, and not reassuring. I deeply regret these decisions and strongly urge others to seek multiple opinions before agreeing to any similar treatments. This review is based solely on my personal experience and perspective as a patient.
