I apologize for this long winded review, but there simply aren't enough superlatives (and stars ) to describe Avi's customer service. I'm no stranger to locking myself out of my apartment. (In fact, I've contacted Avi on 2 separate occasions over the course of 9 days; this, alone, speaks to how highly I regard Avi and his service.) Of the 1/2 dozen locksmiths I've contacted over the years, only a few were able to get in, but not without taking over 30 minutes and nicking part of my door. Then there was Avi, who returned my desperate call this Saturday at midnight within minutes. Where other locksmiths failed and flailed, or took an eternity (through no fault of ther own), Avi managed to unlatch my high security lock (which required him to place a contraption that looked like a cross b/n a fishing pole and a door hanger) in 5 minutes - more quickly than I could count the small amount that he charged me. (The 2nd time he helped me out, he was even quicker.) Did I mention that he charged $100 less than anyone else? If that wasn't enough, he insisted on lubricating the keyhole lock to make it much easier for me to open it with my keys. NOBODY HAS EVER OFFERED to do that. I used to be a customer success specialist for Oracle, so I know what customer service should/shouldn't be. I regret that I was unable to give one iota of the service that Avi has provided me. He couldn't have been more appreciative when I told him I was going to write him a Yelp review. (It seems that for some reason their yelp page hasn't retained the other reviews that clients have been writing.) I had to plead with him to take a box of candy from TJ's. read more
