A small little place located in the town of Running Springs, across from Jensens Store. We walked in even though they do have appts. However several ladies walked in without appts. Very pleased with my gel nails and especially the price, You can't their prices. Would cost me more to drive down the mountains in gas, plus the nail place that I normally go to double charges what we paid here. I am very happy with my nails and happy that we have a nail place near our home in Arrowbear Lake. I have some photos for you to view. And because this was the weekend before Easter I don't know that if it's alway this busy, so if you decide to get your nails done here, it's worth the wait! That was a tough 2 years! A great hair stylist is a tall order in these mountains. Susan is very creative and diverse in the range of customer needs and styles she can master. As an actor, she has been able to provide me with "hair for the character/period", which I have usually been able to wear in an "everyday" manner as well. She is also highly trained in perms and color. As obvious as it should seem, the idea of a stylist speaking in some depth with a client in regard to the style they enjoy, their profession and lifestyle seems to escape a majority of stylists. After a decade, Susan will still ask "What are you doing lately?" and "What are we doing with your hair today?" The kicker is, whatever we decide to do, she is skillful enough to make it happen. My daughter barely got to look at colors, she's 4. They lady didn't even glue my daughters stickers on her nails. They came off leaving the nail salon. Happily charged me though. I had to ask for a top coat on my nails at the nail salon. Really??? I walked in thinking it was going to be a nice experience, give my kid a nice first experience getting her nails done. Nothing out the norm. They showed no hospitality. No else came in until we were pretty much done so I couldn't understand why she was rushing my daughter so much.
