They usually give them out on Saturdays around 10 AM, but this location often has them set up early, so I like to get here pretty early. The earlier you arrive, the better, because some of the more popular freebies can bring in LONG lines! Today, I received a FREE football ice mold, which is actually super cool and useful! About a month ago, I also got a really cute cooler cup. That one was extremely popular, and the line was much longer, so I definitely recommend coming early if there's something you really want. Sometimes they even offer a coupon along with the freebie that you can use the same day, which makes the deal even better! The customer service here is really good. While walking around the store, several employees asked if I needed help, which showed me they're willing to assist. If you need something, just ask! There are also restrooms conveniently located near the checkout area. We come to Lowe's for all kinds of home projects, plants, and other household items, and they have a pretty large selection. The parking lot is also spacious, and I've never had trouble finding a spot here. Signing up for the Rewards program is easy and FREE. You earn points on purchases that can turn into coupons etc., but honestly, one of my favorite perks is the freebies because they come out with some really cool stuff! I also feel like Lowe's has fair pricing compared with similar home improvement stores. And if you have kids, check out their free kids' programs! When my kids were younger, I used to take them to these, and they loved them. If you're already shopping at Lowe's, you might as well take advantage of the rewards and freebies. Store was pretty well stocked with many early Black Friday tool promos. Generally the tools on sale are a great deal the non sale items will be a good deal unless that item is on sale at a different hardware store. I have had good luck with my Bauer electrical tools so I added a new remote radio that can use my existing battery to my collection. They do have a very in depth supply of most electrical tools and an in depth area for car repair tools. Tons of wrenches and sockets as well. Definitely worth checking out if you need a tool or home repair item. Also much smaller so you don't have to navigate a giant big box hardware store. The staff though may not have a ton of knowledge so do you research on what you need before you go. The one item to be aware of is that all the power tools only have a short 90 day warranty and if you want you can pay more for a longer warranty at checkout.

We went to get concrete blocks and some treated 4x4 lumber and we were able to secure all of those. We had a very helpful guy at the register that found the concrete blocks online and then rang them out for us and then told us where exactly in their big store to find them. Of course the cost of everything these days has gone up but usually it is not too bad. Saw a lovely outdoor patio set I would like to have but we were not in the market for that on this day. Picked up some cleaning supplies though and a piece of foam board I need for a craft project. We will continue to shop here and another location on the south side of Indy.

Lowe's staff Dulce and Bobby were amazing at having the order ready for me, I got a text to confirm once it was placed as well as when it was ready for pickup. They loaded it into the back of my SUV as well which is absolutely fabulous and helpful. I will definitely return again to this Lowe's, and remember next time how easy the online order and curbside pickup is, if I know in advance what I need.

At the front counter they can make a duplicate key for you and it will probably work the first time, unlike the key machine at the chain hardware store. Furnaces and parts for them are available here. Sinks, faucets, drain parts are all here as well. Only 2 employees, so if you live in the neighborhood, you can get to know them and make this your one stop shop for hardware. You can look around in here, but you should really ask to find what you need because some of the stuff they carry is in the back. The manager and cashier showed me the flyer where you buy a Milwaukee 3017-21 blower and get a free battery. I told them I wanted to check the reviews on the blower and would be back if the reviews were positive. The reviews were great so went back on Thursday September 3rd to purchase. The same manager and a different cashier now told me that they would not honor the advertised free battery with a blower purchase. They said the add was deceiving. The add, as shown below, clearly has a red box around the BUY ONE GET ONE FREE advertisement. Seems suspicious that the add is very clear on the offer and they brought it to my attention on Wednesday. Now they "CANNOT HONOR THE ADVERTISEMENT".

Even at midday Tuesday, the lot was filled with folks selecting from the annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants from the numerous greenhouses on the campus. There is a limited parking lot that is located by the front greenhouse which also serves as the checkout center. A driveway on the north of the building is the one to pull into and allows you to head along the rest of the buildings where you can park by pulling into the angle parking or using the larger lot near the rear. (Note that there is a small drive between two buildings that allows you to turn to the south drive to exit.) There are flatbed wagons that you can use to load your plant selections on while you browse through the sheds. If you are getting more than one of an item, you can make use of the plastic shipping trays to load your choices so that they are less likely to fall off your cart. Generally speaking, you will find veggies to the north of the first shed, perennials in the next few, and annuals towards the rear. The plants we have purchased over the years have looked very healthy and well cared for. The staff is generally helpful in finding a specific type of plant, but even they can be stumped sometimes and may need to ask one of their coworkers. Still, they have good teamwork and are willing to help you find what you want. All in all, a nice selection of plants. Not the cheapest around, but they seem to be in better condition than what I've found at the big box stores. They also seem to have a better selection too! Review #2543
