The instructors encourage this behavior throughout the class session. It goes to show you that the environment you're in is a direct result of the leaders at the top. The trainers were all super nice and tried to introduce themselves to everybody which is quite a feat since there were probably seventy people there. They had different vendors sampling their products and after the workout had chick fil a and mimosas for everyone. The workout was really intense! We had to do as many rounds as possible of: burpees, mountain climbers, lunges, plank pushups, four hundred meter run, and touch downs. I was sweating so much! They had a dj and it was super high energy. I really enjoyed it!!

From what myself and others see, Alex is a part time trainer and part time con artist who takes advantage of good people. He signs people up for a package of training sessions and then cancels and does not pay them back (including myself). The owner of Burg Fitness doesn't seem to care that they continue to support his shady activities and claims they know nothing about it, stating they think Alex is a great trainer. You shouldn't be supporting this man and his actions that are harming individuals in the process just to make money. Please consider doing the right thing!

UPDATE 2025: 42 and Perimenopausal -- I Gained 10 lbs Out of Nowhere and Lost It Fast with Rebecca!…read more I'm 42 and perimenopausal symptoms hit hard earlier this year. I used to crave my 5 a.m. workouts -- Peloton, weights, all of it -- but the fatigue and hormones threw me through a loop, and my consistency totally fell apart. Even when I did get workouts in, nothing was changing, and I was at a loss. When I started working with Rebecca late July, I found out she was very experienced and knowledgeable with perimenopause -- not just with how your workouts need to change and focus more on strength training, but how a woman needs to shift her diet. As a stay-at-home mom, I have to admit my diet was more focused on everyone else first, and then I'd eat the same easy "meals" or scraps and leftovers on the go! It was a huge lifestyle change to shift to Rebecca's meal plan, but it has literally changed my life. I've lost 10 lbs and completely reshaped my body using only home gym equipment and exercises tailored around my limitations and injuries (I can't hold more than 12 lb dumbbells or curl more than 8). Please note that I'm 5'5 and normally 124 so coming back down from the weight gain that shot me up to 133 isn't a walk in the park! Rebecca is that good! And... this is without any extra cardio -- just her strength-based workouts, structure, and meal planning. The accountability and nutritional expertise in this stage of life have been massive. I tell my husband, "Thank God for Rebecca," every day -- no joke. Because on the days I don't see her, I don't have the energy to even do cardio, but her sessions keep me on track. Even with several vacations and nights out, we've still moved the needle so much! Rebecca truly understands how to train and fuel a woman's body in perimenopause. I feel strong, consistent, and confident again -- without burnout or endless cardio.

What started out as a journey to become healthier and tone muscle with a goal of reduced inches in my midsection and chest became a reality for me.  Starting with a weight of 135 pounds  in January, with the personal training & nutritional guidelines of Rebecca, my weight was 121 by the end of May. In total a 10% weight loss, Losing 4 to 5 inches while shrinking   various parts of my midsection. I can definitely tell the difference in my muscle tone and definition.  Overall, I feel so much healthier and now look forward to my weekly workouts with her as I continue to tone & achieve muscle definition.  Rebecca makes the workouts interesting, challenging, and fun. The traffic just getting there even during off peak hours is the only reason I don't go as much, but I would definitely recommend it! It was a little confusing in the beginning because they have different buildings so I was not sure which one actually had the class I signed up for however, after going a few times I was familiar with it. The parking is not the best. The staff is very friendly! Most of the classes are always full so it's very hard to get a spot unless you join the waitlist and hope to get in.

They have more advanced equipment and machines than just dumbbells and kettlebells that most group workout classes have. As a girl, some of the equipment can be intimidating. But once you give it a shot, you realize how capable you are. They recently moved facilities, so if you ever worked out at their old location...try the new one! It's much bigger, nicer, and in a safer location. Because their classes are pretty large, you won't get much direction on form, but the instructors are still pretty attentive if you're doing something completely wrong. This is a great gym for someone who already knows how to workout but does better with an instructor.

However, the rest of the experience was great. The studio is beautifully decorated, colorful, clean, and peaceful. They offer Pilates and barre as well. The yoga class we did was challenging, but the pace was good, and the instructor was nice. Provided modifications as needed if a position was tough or not comfortable. They provide mats, blocks, etc.
