I went to a number of podiatrists for help. They all wanted to perform surgery which entailed a cadaver transfer and minimum of 6 weeks non-weightbearing. As an RN, that was an unreasonable expectation for me. Dr. Bukhalo suggested a PRP injection at the insertion point of the tendon. Admittedly, it was a temporarily painful procedure. However, it actually healed the problem and now I have Zero pain in my Achilles tendon! I would highly recommend Dr. Bukhalo and Jessica King, PA, to anyone needing pain management. It is never a problem getting an appointment, and the office staff always reaches out if an earlier appointment becomes available.

Once I was with the doctor, the experience wasn't much better. A few pokes at me with a wooden stick for nerve function, I guess... At one point, I crossed one leg over the other and winced in pain, saying, "this motion frequently causes me pain". The doctor shrugged and dismissively said, "some people just have pain". I was eventually told to take a mega-dose of ibuprofen daily (800mg x 3 !!!). When I commented that my stomach would not handle that, I was told to take it with omeprazole. When I then commented that I didn't want to be on that long-term due to its variety of risks (fractures), I was told, "you worry too much". I'm inclined to think that it's my (our?) job (responsibility?) to worry a bit, given that this doctor clearly does not. Needless to say, I never returned.

Terrible throughput terrible efficiency. The only saving grace this office has is the doctor it's self!!! Doc is fast and efficient and was very apologetic after getting hung up in a long surgical case. This offices scheduling waiting and room assignment system are rubbish. But the doctors keep it certifiable. 4/5 barely (1/5 if we add in the waiting room deductions)

If I have problems with insurance they resolve any issues for they know my history and I am monitored to make sure if any changes need to be made they look into it. The office staff are friendly. professional and will get you through to the right person if you call with a problem. It's terrible ti live with chronic illness and pain and many times you feel like you are a victim of insensitive pharmacies that can make things difficult and make you feel hopeless. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. Just remember that this is not for everyone and the success rate is very high, 50% - 70% is nothing scuff at. I suggest that you always do your research before you choose any treatment. And, sent one to the wrong pharmacy as well as the wrong strength of the medication. It seems as if they cannot handle the increased patient load. Kramer arrived, no apologies. It's because it is ML King Day, she said. A lot of patients. (If you read other reviews, you'll learn that tardiness by 1 hr is the norm here.) - Kramer's "test" was 3 minutes long. Told the kid to touch her toes. Touched the kid's neck, told her to turn. That's it. By that test alone, she prescribed physical therapy. - No attempt to explain to us parents about possible explanations for our child's discomfort - Over 1 hr late and only talked to the patient for 7 minutes.
