The fuel ruined my fuel system and these guys put it back together again. They not only fixed the truck, they worked with me to get it towed from 150 miles north of their location and repaired it in record time so that I could keep going with my travel trailer. The operations manager was in constant contact with me and let me know all along the way how things were going. He also provided all necessary documentation for a successful insurance claim. I'm so lucky, due to these guys, I was able to finish our trip and return home on time to meet other obligations. Sure, it costs some, but at least I got something done, unlike some of the dealerships I had taken this to along the trip who kept making up excuses for the issues and charging me for work that did not make a difference. I would highly recommend this repair facility if you need honest true work done on your diesel. Thanks

CAUTION: CONSUMER BEWARE I visited this Monro location on…read moreFriday evening after I noticed a nail sticking out of my rear passenger side tire. This was the only tire repair business open after 6 PM, according to Google. I called first and was told to come on in. Upon arrival the attendant greeted us and began working on the tire right away. He completed the work in record time and presented me with the tack nail. I was so thankful I tipped the attendant with the payment ($34 repair $6 tip.) I got back in my car and proceeded home, which is about 3.4 miles from this location. About a mile down the road my tire pressure sensor came on and shortly after I could feel something was off. I pulled over to discover my tire noticeably losing air. It was not safe to drive so I called back to Monro. No answer. I called a friend for roadside assistance and a spare tire was installed. The next morning the damaged tire was inspected by Tire Discounters who concluded that an "unprofessional repair attempt" ruined my new tire. I contacted Monro the same day for a resolution and submitted my documentation. Monro's first response was that I didn't get a repair, only a repair estimate. Their second response was that they are willing to refund my $40 repair bill/ tip but they are not willing to compensate for the damage. This is very unfortunate and a huge cost out of my pocket that could have been avoided had Monro not performed such a poor repair attempt. My next steps are to file a complaint for criminal damages and try mitigate this legally. Photo evidence below.

    Dayton Car Care

Quite possibly the rudest, most horrible customer service I have experienced at any business…read moreanywhere, not just for car work. I had a headlight malfunctioning, blinking constantly, like a strobe, so this is a pretty serious situation as the car is dangerous to other drivers on the road. I called two business days in advance and made an appointment for a Friday. I told the person when I made the appointment that you have to take the bumper off the car to even get to this headlight so they knew this was not a small job. We even discusssed that probably they would only be able to determine what parts were needed, and I'd have to bring it back on a subsequent day to have them put in. No problem. I dropped the car off right when they opened at 8 a.m. (which they were late doing because the desk person was late, but there is a lot of construction in the area, so that's understandable). I work close by and had a coworker pick me up and take me to work on their way in. At 2 p.m. I called and they still had not touched my car. I asked if they are going to get to it, and they said a tech would be returning from lunch in about 15 minutes and it was his next job. Ok. At 4 p.m., my office closes, and I had to get a lift back to the shop with my coworker while I could. I walk in and say I'm the Lexus, and I meant was that I'm here, just asking for an ETA-I'm fully prepared to sit and wait on the car. There are three people on the desk. The guy who initially "greeted" me throws my keys on the counter. And I'm like, well can you get to it today? At this point, the two other guys jump in and start being UNBELIEVABLY rude and tell me it's best I just take it somewhere else. And I was in shock, and I'm trying to ascertain if it's going to be worked on, because I can wait if they will get to it before close, but no I can't leave it over the weekend. And the guy is going on and on about they are an in demand shop because they do such good work (uh, they've only been open a few months-there is no way they've built this incredible reputation yet and I doubt they will. THere's a reason I'm as of this writing the only review on Yelp). If I'm going to show up and demand the car back I should just go elsewhere. I try to explain-I'll wait in the lobby, I WAS AT WORK AND MY WORK CLOSED. I HAD TO VACATE THE BUILDING. I HAVE NOWHERE TO GO BECAUSE I DONT HAVE A CAR. And I'm still trying to ask if they will work on my car. I didn't cuss, I was just FLABBERGASTED that anyone would treat a customer this way. And at this point, all 3 of the people at the desk start looking down and shuffling papers, and COMPLETELY IGNORE ME and refuse to acknowledge my any further. Basicly just kicked me out of their shop because they ASSUMED I was demanding my car back because I showed up when I have nowhere else to go. I have not been treated this badly by a business in a long time, maybe ever. Do NOT patronize this shop unless you want to be treated like they are doing you a favor by deigning to work on your automobile.
