made an appointment 3 weeks in advance about a starting issue with my Tiffin Motorhome. Rush is a Ford recognized garage, an being that the motorhome sits on a Ford F53 chassis with a Ford V10 engine, you would think they would be able to find the starting issue. In the mean time the motorhome developed an issue with not wanting to go in reverse when engaged by the stick shift on a the column. This was confirmed by the intake agent at the counter, who tried to put the motorhome into reverse with no success. Well after Rush's somewhat thorough diagnostic inspection, they could not find the starting issue, nor could they find the issue with the motorhome going into reverse. We were sent a email informing us that the motorhome was ready to be picked up. We arrived at Rush to pickup the motorhome at 11:39 Am, apparently the motorhome had been shut off, and Rush personal could not get it started. We proceed to wait until 12: 28 before the motorhome was brought around for us to take. We took the motorhome back to the campsite we were staying in and you guessed it, the motorhome would not go into reverse to back into our spot. Overall I can not express how disappointed I am with the caliber of mechanical abilities at Rush Service Care at 11775 Highway Dr. in Cincinnat. read more

We purchased a used 2009 Workforce W42 truck and brought it to Rush Truck Center days later for a thorough diagnostic. I told them my primary concern was safety and I wanted the vehicle checked out from top to bottom to ensure it was not only safe, but to resolve any issues they discovered and prevent future major repairs. They told us we could anticipate them having it for 2 weeks which turned into two months and longer. We understood them to be the go-to experts on big rigs and believed everything they advised along the way during their inspection, spending close to 20K in "maintenance level" repairs in total. All the while, you could rarely get an update or someone to answer the phone. I was having to ask for the manager each time, which should not be the case. Shane and David were helpful when I could get them on the phone. It was an extremely frustrating process, especially since this is a business vehicle that we count on to make revenue. We didn't have any visible leaks when we initially brought it to them and were told the transmission and engine were in good working order. They made me feel good about the purchase. My only concern when I first brought it to them was the front end shake. They said they checked everything and the king pins were fine. We fixed everything they advised us on without hesitation because we trusted it needed to be done and we wanted our employees to be safe and in a reliable vehicle. Since they don't do tires, they recommended we take it to Best One Tire in Fairfield after their repairs. Once our truck was on the lift, they showed me where the tie rod was loose, causing the front end shake I shared with Rush Truck Center more than once. I called Shane at Rush Truck Center immediately since we paid them over $2,000 to inspect it plus a number of other repairs and they said nothing was wrong with the tie rod per their foreman. Thus, I took a video and sent it to Shane. He then said they would offer a discount on labor if we brought it back to them. We had Best One Tire do it since they already had it and we lost so much time already. We had the tie rod repair, balanced and adjusted our tires. It tremendously improved our drive. The vehicle was parked on our private lot and leaking since we got it back. We began leaking brake and transmission fluid. Unfortunately, we tried to drive it across the parking lot and realized it was transmission fluid as we lost power. We had to have it towed up to Rush again at our own expense. We had to bring it back a few times as parts are hard to come by and we kept noticing new issues. We got it back and took it to TWO events. Upon the second time out, the engine light came on and the truck shut off. We had it towed to Rush Truck Center yet again. They had it for 3 weeks and said we needed a complete engine replacement, just a couple of months after telling us we had a good engine and the mileage was no concern. (159,000 miles) I could not get anyone to provide an update. I left countless voicemails, emails and finally Shane, who was on vacation, had Kenny call me to provide any sort of update. It took another 2 weeks to get a quote. They told us it would be $32,000 to replace. Their lack of communication and the experience itself made us look into alternative solutions. We were referred to another shop who ultimately diagnosed the turbos as the actual issue and we paid less than 1/3 of their quote to get it fixed and far less time. Moreover, I had to pay Rush another $1500 to misdiagnose our truck and 2 more tows at $525 each to get it out of there. I am so disappointed with how we were treated and felt they were not as thorough as we thought they were and definitely not as forthright. We would've spent $32,000 and still had to fix the turbos which is absurd and dishonest! I don't know if they've just gotten too big or what, but if I am spending my hard earned money with you, I expect you to be professional and follow up with me. I expect that you'll have trained technicians and that you will provide us with your best plan. They told us we had NO compression in the 5th cylinder and after being towed out, I read the report for myself at the next shop. There was compression. Facts are facts. I cannot recommend this shop. The only follow up I received was after we towed it. Someone I had never spoken with called for payment of the misdiagnosis ($1500 plus we had to pay $1100 for round trip tows) and lost a month of business during the summer. A week after that, the GM called to see if I still wanted to buy the $20,000 engine and have it repaired elsewhere. I advised they misdiagnosed it and there was no apology and no follow up ever since. Extremely poor service and experience at this shop. read more

ZERO STARS!!! Wrote a google review about 11 months ago - The part that I wrote that review on has failed!! And now this is what is going on now with Rush! Took my semi to a shop to find that a part that Rush replaced less than a year ago needed to be replaced. I paid cash and contacted rush for the warranty on the part. I have called 3 times. Talked to Jordan and he requested me to email him the invoice from them when they replaced it and the invoice from the shop that replaced it again. I emailed him both invoices within 5 minutes on July 22nd. I have the emails saved to prove I sent them! Called on august 2 and spoke to Dave. The took my name and phone number and said he would get back to me and never did. Called on Aug 11 and spoke to Dan. Gave him all information and he said the same crap the other 2 told me. He would look into it and tell Jordan he needs to check his email! Dan then said I should have brought it to them. I said that I wasn't about to have the shop put the broken part back on my truck to drive it to them and have to wait for a week or more for them to fix it! How the heck are they going to tell people to put unsafe broken parts back on and drive it to them?! Wonder what the attorney general would say about this! I will be contacting corporate office and the better business bureau to make formal complaints as well! read more

Impossible to reach. Once took my vehicle there for a small fix and it sat there for around 2 months. Now we were looking for another small repair and sent several emails, and left several messages over the phone. No response at all. Very unprofessional and disappointing. read more

If I could leave negative stars I would! Horrible service! When they say BLANK- Hours... What they really mean is days. My last Oil change (That had an appointment for) I was told 2 hours. I went by 2 days later to pickup the truck as they never called me. My truck sat in the same spot I parked it in and hadn't even been pulled into the bay. Unfortunately this is very Typical of Rush. Forgetting to order parts, never following up, They don't respond to emails, and lastly they are way overpriced. They have dropped the ball sooo many times I've lost count. I will gladly drive the extra 45 minutes south to FYDA for slightly better service and price. Avoid this location at ALL cost!!! read more

Took my 2018 freightliner to them for a new radiator that was under warranty. My truck was running fine until the radiator started leaking. They took my whole engine apart called and told me what I needed and said if I decline the repairs outside of the warranty that they would decline the whole job. Mind you the engine is already apart at this point, so now I'm 2 weeks in after taking the truck for just the radiator now all of a sudden I need new egr,fuel injector,steam cleaning dpf. I'm nervous to decline the repairs afraid of retaliation from them putting my engine back together so I approved the repairs. They have my truck for 2 more weeks. I'm in a rental this whole time,by the time I get my truck back after 30 days I'm out of $24,000 between the repairs and the rental cost. I pick up my truck and it's parts on there that was not on there when I purchased the truck. They just took upon themselves to add on parts. Two days later my engine light comes on,I take it back and they find another problem, they charge me $1000 ,2 days later engine light comes on again I take it back another $1000. Yep you guessed it 2 days later engine light on again now they say I need an alternator ,I get that fixed $1200 ,then days later engine light again, truck won't start they charge me $600 for a tow 2 the shop kept my truck for a week I'm not making any money right before Christmas and they tell me there not a freightliner repair shop they are an international shop. Think you could have told me that $20,000 ago and 2 months ago. I'm a small business owner and this company has taken all of my money on bogus repairs and manually taking off my check engine lights instead of fixing it. My engine lights are still on as I'm writing this review but at this point I have no more Money to take it anywhere else to get diagnosed. I think I'm gonna contact a lawyer to see what I can do. If you knew you weren't a freightliner shop why keep guessing what the problems were instead of telling me to take it elsewhere. Do not ever,ever take your vehicle to this shop. read more

Their service staff are the rudest individuals one will ever encounter. They don't discriminate; they are equally rude to every caller regardless of the amount of capitol your company spends with them. They act as if they don't need your business.
