Jake Sweeney Mazda, specifically the GM, Robert Sabbagh made everything right. Can't thank him enough for listening to me and following up with my issue.

Email from Jake Sweeney to back up review.

Worst people to deal with ever. Bought a car from them three years ago and had no problems. Now they seem to think it's crazy to ask for there best price in a used car before going into their dealer Ship. They claim that is there best price. Then the manager responded to my email, quoting my statements back to me out of context. They are posting chat records, which claims I called the on sales representative rude. Then they proceed to email me other harassing email about this review. They claimed I changed my name and talked to a different rep. I logged out and logged back I accidentally. Didn't realize my name got changed. And yes they were being rude and still are.

Being a first-time car buyer can be a scary thing. The sales team was very professional and didn't even laugh at me when I got behind the wheel of my new car and had no idea how to turn the thing on. Bernard and Sean definitely made the process super easy both outside and inside the dealership. They were able to answer all of my questions, didn't try to pressure me, and got me a price that wouldn't make the Asian in me cry. I JUST watched the new Fresh Off the Boat episode though. It aired the night that I picked up my car. And now, my biggest regret is not arguing for floor mats. MY NAME IS ALSO JESSICA AND I ALSO FORGOT THE FLOOR MATS. Noob move, but a good learning experience. Next time, I'll be ready.

Stopped in this morning around 9:30 and walked around the show room and lot. Did not see one sales person. Won't go back.

Had an issue with quote on a repair. After some difficulty I found a manager who fixed it to my satisfaction.

I was thrilled and had them work up a "deal". They came back with a final price that included a bunch of extras some of which the sales manager said were nonnegotiable. I inquired about one of those and he couldn't even explain what the benefit was to the customer. Then to add more insult he appraised my trade in at $2500 when two other dealers offered $5000 more. He said the 4WD unit was out as the reason when I've been driving through heavy snow over the last 4 weeks. The final result was a price that was nearly $12,000 more than the advertised price and within $500 of the full MSRP for a leftover 2025 with $5000 in Ford rebates! These clowns don't know how to deal in good faith! BIG PASS on Kerry Ford!

Test drove a car and the brakes need to be replaced. Rotors included. The sales manager tried to tell us that it was the tires, and also tried to say that the rear brakes only engage about 20% of the time that that could not possibly be a problem. Also tried to tell us that the price that the vehicle is set at is considering the defects that need to be addressed. This is a safety issue. Do not buy a vehicle with a safety issue! It's quite evident they didn't care all they wanted to do was sell the car no thank you. Not worth the 90 minute drive to test drive.

Then when Abby checked me in she told me that it would be a 90 minute wait. I was a little surprised and told her that I had a 9:00 appoitment. She said that she knew but it would still be 90 minutes since they don't have an express lane like other dealers. I told her again that I was not looking for an express lane, that I had made an appoitment. She continued to insist it would be 90 minutes. I decided to wait because I had a coupon for almost 1/2 off of an oil change. At 9:45 they send me a video of my car on the lift. It still had the old filter on it so I am willing to bet my car with a 9:00 appointment sat there until 9:45 until they started working on it. My car was done at 9:10 which seemed like a reasonable amount of time for a car to get an oil change and inspection done. This again reaffirmed in my mind that my car sat 45 minutes before being worked on. Don't be fooled into thinking that having an appointment means that they are going to work on your car at that time. Don't be fooled into thinking that 4 or 5 service advisors standing at their desks doing nothing means one of them is going to call you over to work with you. I don't think I will be taking my car back there.

Well I found an Orange one on Jake Sweeney's web site, but no pictures. We walked in and was greeted immediately and asked if we could be helped. I said we were there to see the orange corvette and was told by one person they didn't have one, but the manager spoke up and said it was still down at the detail shop, so we load up in an SUV and drive down to see the car. My friend was very impressed with the color and options of the car, it was a 7 speed manual which he also wanted, so easy deal. We drive back they haggle for a few, which is a must in my opinion, but hey at some point just make the best deal. My friend got an amazing deal on the car, then they had to do paper work, so we left and went for coffee down the street and to pick up a new radar detector (a must in this car). When we got back the paperwork was ready and he went to sign. Of course they tried selling all the add on stuff that you don't really need, but my friend did get an okay price on the extended warranty. Should have paid less and I did try to help there, but due to some miscommunication between him and I, he paid a slightly higher price then he should have. Only about $300, but still. Overall a very good business deal and my friend is happy and his new Corvette drives amazing. Makes me a wee bit Jealous.

I have a 2024 Chevy Trax Active that left me stranded on the side of the road on the way to my graduation at with 48,000 miles. I placed a call to the dealer and was told the only way the tow bill would be covered would be if it was a warranty issue that it could be from a mouse chewing wires or sugar in my tank. I was stunned, she also said I could just drive it in limp mode to the dealer again stunned. I did indeed drive it there and was told I need all this extra routine things done not why I was there in the first place. I get a call 5 minutes after dropping it off like I do every single time I drop the car off for anything trying to buy the vehicle but only if I trade it for another vehicle. I receive a new quote with even more things like tires and alignment. The tires are not even worn and the car is not out of alignment. I decide to call to find out why my car left me stranded as this is the one issue apparently I was not contacted for. It needed up being a failed turbocharger and it was covered under warranty. How does that fail at 48,000 miles? I asked for a loaner as I now have no car and was told because I have Progressive Insurance they cannot give me a loaner. All day all I was given was the runaround and excuses. As of today I will no longer be a Jake Sweeney Chevrolet customer or a Chevrolet customer period. Absolutely appalling especially since I purchased an extended bumper to bumper warranty up to 85,000 miles but cannot get a damn loaner car.

The afternoon of 4/11/24 I saw a Suburban online at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet that I was interested in. My husband called and they said to call back, after 2 on 4/12/24, as the vehicle was being serviced. My husband then calls the sales person the following day (4/12/24) and told them we would be in after I was off work that evening. As we are getting ready to leave the house (4:15), the same gentlemen (David Shelton) calls and asks if we are on our way. We stated we would be there about 5, as it was almost an hour drive for us. Upon arrival, the guy comes up to us and states "Let's get this done and over with", at this point I look at my husband in complete shock, that he said that. I mentioned that we were planning on trading in my car, he then proceeds to roll his eyes. Again, I was just speechless. He asks that we pull our car around and meet him on the other side of the building, which we do. When we get out, he takes my car key, gets in my car to get the information, then meets us inside. When we got to his desk, he said "This is not going to be a good outcome". At this point, I was ready to leave, but my husband wanted to look at numbers as he knows I needed a new car. He starts asking questions about the amount I owe, if we can put any money down, then stated maybe we should try to look at a different car. We then tell him no, that we drove an hour to see about this suburban. He starts plugging things in and trying to, I guess do his job, but then realizes he lost the keys to my car. I just laughed as I could not believe this was happening. Once my keys were found and they were able to take it back to get an offer, the guy says "I hope you guys planned on putting quite a bit of money down." I said "Well we can put some money down, but we would like to see what we can figure out" He then states, which this was what did me in, "Honestly it's the end of the day and I am ready to get out of here, so maybe this just is not the right vehicle for you" I could not believe what was actually happening. Of course, after dealing with this, my husband was not happy with the way he was speaking to us and they exchanged a few words and we left. I was almost in tears, because I was just so frustrated and embarrassed that he spoke to us that way. We may be young, but we are probably better off than most people our age or even older. I could have easily went in there and paid cash for the suburban, but am dead set on trading in my car, as we don't need 3 vehicles between the two of us. I have never once had such an awful experience at a dealer. UPDATE: When the gentlemen was out looking at my car, he was using an umbrella. When my husband walked to the drivers side and was telling me goodbye today (4/13/24) he looked at the roof of my car and there is a large scratch and other scuffs from the guys umbrella! We have called, they asked us to send over the pictures, so we did and have yet heard back.
