    Our flight
    Melissa V.

We found some great beer here last weekend! We arrived shortly after they opened and were the first ones here. They had a good selection of beers IPA's, German and others. We decided to split a flight to start. I loved all of the beers in our flight and especially loved the "Queen Bee" and chose that for my full beer, I loved the honey flavor of it. My husband especially liked a German beer that our server had him sample and had a full one of those. Rushford is in a renovated garage and it's spacious and light (I hate dark walls in a brewery). It's nicely decorated and I especially love all the mismatched tables and chairs, old books in the window sills and windows! They have a big outdoor seating area when the weather is warmer. We would definitely come here again!

Far and away the best brewery in Upton. Up to 8 beers on tap, all flavorful and served by great people right in the heart of Upton. We're here on a gorgeous sunny afternoon, hours after Elsa dumped several inches of rain and I must say this is fabulous. Tasty beer, good music, friendly locals. Thank you Rushford and Sons.

Nice atmosphere, good beer, and when I was there, there were plenty of food truck trucks.

Great small brewery. My husband enjoyed both flights that he tried and the seltzer was very good and actually had flavor.

CraftRoots is a 501(c)3 non-profit and each month they select a new local charity to support. How amazing is that?! AND the best part?! It really is GREAT craft beer and even greater people. The flight is the perfect way to mix and match to find your go to pint for the evening. The staff are funny, engaging, and super kind, and the owners are some of the most down to earth, kind hearted folks I've met. PS - the live music was AMAZING and they have board games you can play too! If you get hungry there's always a local food truck standing by! My recommendations? Ms. American Pie (with sugar rim!) and the Ode to The Cranberries!

There brews range from a lite lager, to NE style IPA's to a stout, something for all tastes. For food it varries, they do have snacks but the real food comes from food trucks so check the website to see who's serving it up on the day you're going, the taco truck seems to be a crowd favorite but it can vary. The setting is industrial garage, I like the look of the stainless steel vats that ferment the brews. The people who operate the place are very friendly and welcoming, the crowd can range from early 20 somethings to 60 somethings, dancing is encouraged. If you're a beer afficianado stop in for pint and make a new friend.

Throughout the planning process, we worked with the owner, Will, and General Manager, Andrew, who was organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Communication was always prompt, and he made sure every detail was addressed leading up to the event. On the day of the party, Bobby, Stan, and Jordan were outstanding. They helped everything run seamlessly and were always available whenever we needed assistance. Their knowledge of the venue and event hosting made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The food was delicious! Our guests enjoyed various appetizers, pizza, chicken parmesan and pasta primavera. The cookies and brownies served warm from the oven for dessert were a particular highlight and the perfect ending to a wonderful celebration. Everyone who attended was impressed by both the venue and the exceptional service. We utilized the Full Tank Room and a portion of the patio. Our guests are still talking about it! We received countless compliments throughout the evening, and it truly made the occasion feel special. We would not hesitate to host another event at Cold Harbor Brewing in the future. We also frequent the restaurant and have always had good experiences. Five stars all around!

It's somewhat in the middle of nowhere, so why was it difficult to get a reservation for Saturday night? Simply said, great food at reasonable prices. Our choices were 4:30 or 6:30, we chose to go early after a two-mile chilly walk along the beautiful Blackstone Canal, just 7 minutes away from the UxLocale. We were seated immediately and our waitress arrived in just moments. We were provided menus, waters and we ordered some drinks which arrived not long after. There were only a few patrons here as the UxLocale opens at 4pm. The menu changes weekly, and our party of four selected: * Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese * Tuscan Shrimp Pappardelle * Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle * (2) 1.5" New York Strip Steak * Cannoli for Dessert Let's start with the steaks. In a word, delicious! Both were cooked perfectly medium rare, tender and juicy. Two sides are included, I got the Beet Salad (tasty and nicely dressed) and the potatoes with bacon which were awesome. A co-diner ordered the same dish but got the Caesar salad which he liked very much. We both agreed, a solid 5-star dinner at a reasonable $37 price. The shrimp plate looked beautiful and substantial. The diner loved it and ate every bite. The Tomato Carbonara Pappardelle was also tasty, albeit with strong pepper undertones. If you don't like a lot of pepper, you might try a different dish, or ask if the chefs can cut back on it. That said, I liked it and would be happy to order this. Most of the diners liked the Warm Pecorino with Truffle Honey Cheese Skillet (slices of Pecorino Romano cheese, warmed to a mild melt and drizzled with truffle-infused honey. The salty, sharp cheese and sweet, pungent honey are a classic pairing in Tuscan cuisine. Warmed and served on a cast-iron skillet). I liked it, one diner thought it was too salty, though that is the way it's described above. The dishes are all large, three of us brought home leftovers. We finished by sharing a cannoli dessert, which was excellent, crispy cannoli with a light and tasty filling. An outstanding dinner, with excellent services at a reasonable price (dinner for four with drinks was $209 before tip). A solid 5-stars on this visit. Note that they request tips be left in cash (for all of us who use little if any cash these days). There is a cash machine when you first enter.
