This restaurant has been on our list for a long time and we were recently in the Milford area and we decided to check them out. We went on a Saturday afternoon and we were surprised there isn't any parking lot, we just parked on the side of the street. We were seated in the bar area (not many tables there) and my husband said there is a dining room off of it (I didn't see it). We ordered our meals and drinks. Everything came out promptly. The food was very good. The service was good too. We wouldn't make a special trip out there (about 40 minutes away), but would stop if we were in the area. read more

Cute space with a smallish indoor area and an outdoor tented area. Went for brunch. Seems very popular so would make reservations (on Resy). Wow. Just wow! Started w/ sausage stuffed mushrooms. Comes w 5 but was so hungry we ate a couple before I took a picture. Just a delicious start. Went on to the recommended chicken parm chimichanga and damn! This is amazing. Perfectly fried outside and the chicken inside was for sure a chefs kiss. Vodka sauce for dipping did not disappoint. A friend and I came to area to mountain bike for couple days. We were close by so thought we'd give it a try. First night we had sweet potato tater tots as app. Perfectly seasoned crispy outside soft moist inside when dipped in sauce were quite tasty. We then had burger and salmon taco for main course. Both were good We like it so much came back a second night and food was equally good. The wings with a buffalo barbecue as suggested by waitress were amazing and went well with our spicy margaritas. The Mac n cheese and Reuben we had for dinner filled us up well. The place has cool vibe with cool knickknacks on wall. There are 3 place to sit. The bar has plenty of TVs for sports watching but also saw people playing cards and just enjoying each others company. There is also a porch and outside tent area. We choose porch as it was best of both world. The food and ambiance were great but the service was amazing. Our server remembered us from night before was very pleasant and joyful. She gave good recommendations for food. Food came out quickly and whole staff was very personable. If you're in the area I highly recommend the Depot Street Tavern. A gem for sure. read more

This was quite a surprise! Very funky place with great service wand the yummy brunch food with very large portions. Lots of interesting beverage options as well. Creative menu and old favorites. Reservations suggested as it is small and the parking is street parking. Can be a bit noisy because the tables are close together but don't let that stop you from trying it out. read more

Came in with my wife it was moderately busy. Stood at the door for about 7 mins with no acknowledgement. In walks another couple and they were greeted before the door closed behind them. Seating is limited -approx 45 people, few tables and seat at bar serving a variety of local craft beers On this visit my guest and I both ordered the Depot burger - I always like their juice running down your face burger ( for real - it's juicy) My guest wasn't impressed I think their burgers are great, but @ $18.00 plus $2 for fries I think you can include the fries and keep the burger under $20 The menu is unique - the twist that is presented is eye catching All the dishes are really delicious Brunch on Sunday is worth visiting We were prepared to order desert and an after dinner drink, however our server couldn't care if we were there. We were seated by a very friendly woman once we arrived for our 12:45 reservation. The atmosphere and decor were very inviting and fun. Our waitress didn't seem to be happy to be there, and service continued to be subpar from her. Everyone else thag came over to clear the table, and the bartender was very friendly. The drink menu is excellent the food is good as well. I wouldn't say spectacular. The service tends to be more average. They have an outside section that they built during covid that helps to accommodate more guest, but unfortunately on a busy rainy day there was flies absolutely everywhere. Very disappointed with our take out order this past Friday evening. And we used to love Depot Tavern. We ordered Chips & Guac for appetizer for like $12 dollars and the salsa and guac containers were laughable they were so small. Another order was 2 Mexican Chicken rice bowls. It was basically rice with barely any beans and not very much chicken. And 1/3 of the chicken was bone. Last order was a simple Reuban sandwich. I don't know how that can get screwed up but it was terrible. It had corned beet but tiny amount of cheese, Sauerkraut and Russian dressing. Back to Depot Tavern, service on previous visits were mixed. On this visit Lexy was our server. She was funny and attentive. Had a late lunch with 3 friends on a Monday afternoon. Tables were spread out but there was plenty of seating with the tent attached to the restaurant. We started with Dirty martinis and Italian lemon margaritas which were delicious. Ordered appetizer of warm Parmesan pretzels with cheese sauce and spicy mustard. For lunch we ordered steak and cheese sandwich that included Vermont cheddar, shaved red onion and horseradish aioli, it was very tasty. I had the angry turkey melt that was packed with flavor (house roasted turkey, pepper jack, bacon, pickled jalapeños, chipotle aioli). I haven't ever written a review for here and that's a crime because it's one of my FAVORITE spots! Absolutely 5 Stars! They do everything right. First, the atmosphere is "wicked cool!" Second, the service is on point; fast, attentive and super friendly. Third, the drinks are awesome! A huge variety of constantly changing craft beer (both draft and package) along with the usual suspects. Also, an ever changing cocktail menu both seasonal and festive! Finally, the food.... Everything and I mean everything, is fantastic. You cannot go wrong, it's impossible. If you are ever in the Metro-West area of Massachusetts, always make Depot St. an option. I've been here a few times since it opened and I've sat both at a table and at the bar. With either location I've had great food and excellent service. The tables are close together so you can get jostled a bit if you sit near a "path". The decor is all about wood, but welcoming and comfortable. The food is always delicious, and I've never had a complaint!
