This company claims they are quick and attentive to respond. I would like to know what their definition of that is! It's been a month with no contact from company. If someone drove by and didn't want the job, respect the customer and give them the courtesy by responding instead of leaving them hanging! No way to run a business with poor customer service. They actually left us a big box full of manuals and instructions, so the info. might be somewhere in there. God works in mysterious ways... I really needed an irrigation specialist to teach me how to use the system and, most importantly, to Winterize the system when the time comes. Pedro wrote my name and all contact info for me to become a new customer. He also walked me through the whole setup of the system and found one leaking pipe, which he immediately fixed. I have never owned a house with an irrigation system so I truly appreciate Pedro's professionalism and knowledge about the system, besides being a very friendly person who did not seemed rushed to get out of here to another job. I sent the company an email so that we can continue to receive uninterrupted service. I will update this review if needed but so far, so good!

Being from California, the concept of trees, vast open spaces of land, and inclement weather are foreign to me; I needed help. My lawn was too big to mow myself; and I didn't want to add another chore to my bf's house upkeep list. We received a flyer in the mail from Highwood Landscaping offering a discount so I decided to test them out. Lawn mowed; no problems! After that test run, we kept them on for scheduled mowing, and I've been nothing but pleased. Then the Fall hit, the leaves were everywhere, everywhere, everywhere! We don't have this many trees in Cali! I never knew it could become such a problem. My lawn was definitely bringing the value of the neighborhood down, as it had become such an eyesore covered in leaves. But luckily, Highwood could take care of my Fall Cleanup as well. Phew. Leaves cleaned, no problems! And now that the snow has finally thawed, and the sun begins to warm my soul; I recently was reminded that there is life outside my heated living room. Time to make my yard presentable! Then, by coincidence or mind incepting fortune, Highwood gave me a call the very next day! (How did they know!?!) I had Amber come out to do an estimate for some landscaping. I was impressed with how knowledgeable she was about the different types of plant life I could get into my yard. Perhaps they shouldn't have been mowing over the ONE tree our yard has and used a weed-whacker over the roots instead? If you want cheap, go with Highwood. If you want quality professionals, look elsewhere.

The problem was our well pit cover is right in the middle of it and the area wasn't level. Local Choice suggested pavers because they could be removed and replaced if access was needed. They also said if that happened they would be happy to reset them for us. They came almost a week early and did the job in one afternoon. They leveled the area, cut the pavers, ran a pipe for the gutter downspout under the ground and cleaned up after themselves. The associates were very polite and efficient. They made sure their work truck and trailer were off the road for traffic. I have no complaints about the end product. We were going to attempt to do it ourselves but we're glad we chose some pros! Will be using them again to paver the back patio next!

We will pay for another company to come and repair City Pavings workmanship issues before the freezing weather sets in and further damages the driveway. When I politely asked him to move it, he first was sarcastic, then disrespectful, rude and finally verbally abusive. The tractor left tire tracks on my lawn which I had to repair myself. Of course, he was parked on the no-parking side and so far out into the street that he was virtually blocking traffic.
