    Basil Pig Pizza

Stopped by here on our way out of town, this was some of the yummiest pizza I've ever had! The flavors exploded! Took a while to get our pizza but totally worth it! The service was on point! I definitely recommend this place for a some good pizza. Didn't realize until after we ordered that they sold by the slice and they were huge, probably would have sufficed but now we're taking half our pizza home for dinner!

Came here on a whim without any expectations. No complaints. Customer service was great and food was equally delicious. They had gluten free options and were very accommodating.

    Seating

Pizza was good. Had the perfect crunch to it. Pizza does take about 20-30 minutes. Don't come here if you're in a hurry, just order ahead. Service was good. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor.

We randomly chose to stay in Glenwood Springs on our way to Aspen. We had a long day of travel and needed a break. There was a shopping center nearby and we went for a walk to move our legs from sitting in the car. We discovered Russo's and looked at the menu and said we have to try this because whoever made this menu has a great sense of humor. Anyone else go to Colorado to have New York pizza? Just us... cool, cool, cool. All jokes aside, the food was legit! We had their Fried Pickled Gangsta Fries that made a special return for a limited time. We didn't know what to expect and we were very excited when it arrived. The fries are mixed with fried pickle chips and chicken, topped with dill pickles along with ranch sauce. We also had the Mango Habenaro wings because we clearly are addicted to wings. I admit it and I own it and they were damn good. We built our pizza because we were feeling extra picky that day. I can't say I can identify New York pizza and offer any comparison but it was pizza and it was satisfying. Best part of our experience is when we first arrived we were immediately greeted with a smile and told the specials and a quick rundown of the menu. We ordered at the counter and they deliver your meals at your table. Lots of seating available and very relaxed dining experience.

Lots of different slices of pizzas or a large menu to choose from. The staff was friendly and working hard when it was packed on a Saturday during lunch. I grabbed a couple slices, a garlic bread thing, and a soda. My copilot had one of their mac and cheese dishes. They were all pretty good and the portions were large. We saw some tables around us having their "Grenades" (sliders) and they looked great. I might try one of those on my next visit. Overall, clean dining room, friendly staff, and a lot of options on the menu. We would come back again for a quick lunch since it's so close to the 2 nearby hotels.

BEST PIZZA IN GLENWOOD SPRINGS! I've lived here for 6 years and in that time I have tried nearly every pizza place from Rifle to Aspen. Originally from the east coast, I'm a pizza snob. The quality, taste and price point at Russos, in my opinion, is unbeatable. They have a patio, large dining room and bar, so there's plenty of seating space. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Russo's for a quick lunch while on the road and was very satisfied with the menu and quality of the food. I tried the sliders and cheese curds and was a very happy camper. I think i should mention I had never had cheese curds before so my mind was blown by the amazingness of the whole thing and how happy it made me. The food came out fast and the service was fast. What's not to love?

Food was so great! I was only going to order for take out but decided to stay. I would recommend looking at the current menu at the store and not the ones in the pictures on yelp. I ordered way too much but it came in handy later. Very clean store and friendly staff.

Cesar Salad, Godfather Fries and Chicken Wings

First, I want to give a shout out to the staff as they scrambled and weee able to take care of about 35:40 of us after a baseball game we had. They did awesome as a crew. Pizza was good everyone got something different as we had a large party. I went with the OG Pizza slice and it was delicious. We also ordered The Godfather Gagster fries delicious best thing I had up in Glennwood Springs. Sticky Korean Wings were good as well. The only issue we had was with the Cesar Salad. Definitely not a huge concern but very heavy anchovy flavor not my fav at all. If your staying in Glennwood swing in and get you some Russos pizza. We will be back next time we are in town.

In an area where a lot of things are expensive, I greatly appreciate that a big slice of New York-style pizza costs only $5. Russo's has more than just pizza though. The menu also has wings, pastas, fries, sandwiches, and salads. There are familiar ingredients on the menu like pepperoni and cheese, but there are also plenty of interesting combinations on the menu. Branch out and go for something different. Try the O.G. pizza. It is sweet and spicy sausage with a basil aioli sauce, and that basil aioli is good stuff. There is also the O.G. gansta fries. I have not tried that one yet, but I am sure that the basil aioli is as good on fries as it is on pizza. Your options are plentiful, and the prices are reasonable. Russo's is a good casual spot for an affordable and tasty meal.

For this restaurant, the find was almost like that. We (while enjoying our quick spa getaway in town coming from the greater Denver area) found this place after a disappointing experience with another similar restaurant nearby as it was closed for a private party that night. We were in a dire need of finding something alternative. As we were walking around town earlier that day, we did notice this place. After checking to make sure that it was truly open (not again, right?), we rushed there to fill our empty stomachs. The experience? It was quite good! Despite its unfortunate setting (downstairs in one of the buildings on the busy main street in town), what they can offer is worth the mention. Ambience?? Good! Fairly small restaurant but the layout is efficient where it can hold at least 50+ people when it's packed. The bar is the most ambient part of the restaurant where copper top was most fitting with chic looking lightings hanging from the ceilings. As long as the weather permits, seating in the patio is available. Three men collaborated to assist us for all of our needs during our fairly quick dinner. Time was barely 5pm. The night was still very young. Other diners eventually streamed in and it was at its 50% capacity by 5:50m. By the way, this experience was on a Thursday in mid-April of 2026. Here is what we got: -Justin Cabernet $15 per glass -Mediterra Super Tuscan $15 per glass (I had this one. Justin which my daughter had was better than mine in my opinion.) (The selection for wine by the glass is a bit small; they could easily add a few more to both the white and the red) -Starter bread (complimentary; later one of the men came to refill it by adding a few more slices. Excellent starter bread) -Mussels alla Crema (Cream based. They can make it with red sauce as well; $18) -Torretta de Malanzane (An eggplant burrata dish, $17) -Brassato (A gnocchi dish with braised short ribs, $30) All of the dishes were equal contenders where I simply couldn't pick one winning dish out of them. Each dish's meticulous presentation coupled with the overall seasonings, flavors and complex or perfected texture, their creative dishes are the core reason for their successful restaurant operations is what I gleaned while dining. We, unfortunately, skipped the dessert part as we saw an ice cream place several doors up the street from it earlier. We wanted to immerse ourselves in different dining experiences while our short stay in town so maybe next time we dine here again, we will indulge in their "decadent" dessert treats.

First off, the most notable thing about this experience was the genuinely most amazing waitress I think I have ever encountered, Grace. Grace was the kindest soul, she took such amazing care of us and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Me and my family will go out to eat now and say "she was good but not as good as Grace". Second off, The food was AMAZING per usual. I had the Wagyu steak and it was cooked perfectly, I usually hate going out for steak because I find it to never be seasoned as much as I'd like but this took the cake. The blue cheese dip with chips was so delicious, like possibly one of the best things we have ever tasted. We also tried to carrot cake sorbet which I know sounds odd but it was so delicious, you can tell the kitchen staff puts their heart and soul into this food. My husband got the special, which was like a Turkish ricotta stuffed pasta and it was AMAZING. Even my sister who got the wagyu burger, AMAZING. My only critique was the hostess was very rude to my family for no reason when we walked in which almost turned my parents off from trying to the most amazing restaurant. Luckily, the service got amazing after that. Everyone was so kind and helping everyone, just a great atmosphere. They also had the Knicks game playing which was great haha. I can't wait to come back next summer for my favorite meal despite living states away we will always make it back to The Pullman.

I started with the pickled deviled eggs - little vinegar taste with a slightly sweet filling is a perfect combination. 10/10 The Steak Tartare is unlike any tartare I've ever had before. It comes on this homemade tater-tot that's shaped kind of like a piece of bread or a cracker. I wasn't expecting it, but it made the dish. There is some sort of sauce drizzled, which tastes like an egg yolk base. I scraped it with my fork so I could eat all of it! So delicious! Finished with the Pierogies. Handmade, thin wrappers with perfect, delicious filling. It comes in a bowl with an amazing sauce I couldn't get enough of. I literally used a spoon to drink it! If you're in town, get a reservation - they are very busy!!! It's worth it!

I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.

Windows give a lot of inside light, decent spacing between tables so you don't feel awkward or squished. We were seated quickly. The host and servers were all nice and checked on us regularly. We started with drinks- my wife had an Irish coffee (strong!) and I had a Bloody Mary; this thing was LOADED with celery, carrot, something pickled, bacon, etc and it was divine. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu because it had some different offerings compared to what is currently on the website so unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of what we ordered but they were both fantastic! Descriptions as follows- My wife had some kind of pork hash with 2 poached eggs and caramelized onions that was melt in your mouth delish! It was a fairly large serving; she ended up saving about half of it for a meal later. I ordered a dish that had caramelized sweet potatoes, spinach, smoked salmon, spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and an aioli - this was delightfully fresh but also filling. All the "ratios" of ingredients felt perfectly matched. Overall, if I am ever back in this area I will definitely be stopping here again!

First, the pricing transparency on modifications is frustrating. My son ordered the $12 mac and cheese (which includes a drink). Upon ordering the server offered broccoli or chicken as an option. He chose broccoli, assuming it was a standard side swap or inclusion. Instead, we were charged $1 for the broccoli and an extra $3 for the fruit. Second, drink pricing was a letdown. -For $14 the frosted coconut margarita was served in a short highball glass rather than premium glassware. -I was charged $17.57 for a double Malibu Pineapple, (they added an extra $1 charge just for the pineapple juice mixer). -To top it off, the drink took 12 minutes to arrive because our server was preoccupied with a recently seated large party. Finally, be aware that they add an automatic 3% "Kitchen and Brewer Appreciation" surcharge to the bill, on top of normal tax and tip. While the food was great, the unbundled charges for standard mixers, deceptive side options, and extra surcharges leave a bad taste. Food: Rueben was great. Husband wished for more sauce but I thought it was the perfect balance. Kiddo loved the broccoli and mac. Pro tip: Check your receipt (which we didn't get until *after* we cashed out). Server (who was great, by the way) came to our table in a break from his large table and announced our total so we didn't see the breakdown until the text receipt arrived.
