    Parmesan garlic wings
    Lori W.

Love this place, they have the best chicken wings around! I got the Parmesan garlic wings and they were delicious. Our server was very friendly. The ambience is great, they had the football games on. Can't wait to come back!

Everything was amazing. They had the perfect fryer. The lemon, dry rub chicken wings to die for, onion rings, amazing, sweet potato, tater tots, top notch, and smash burgers out of this world. I loved it.

This place was Backcountry Wings. Now it's The Crazy Chicken. The food was amazing. We got 15 wings, cheese curds and truffle parm brussel sprouts. The wings flavors we got were garlic buffalo, Cajun and basian. Basian is buttery Asian. A little sweet but very good. The Cajun dry rub and garlic buffalo were great. The cheese curds were just what you would expect if you've had good curds. The truffle parm brussel sprouts were crispy and tasty. They have a great selection of beers and a ton of tvs. There was college football and skiing on. Our waitress at the bar was very helpful and had good recommendations. She was attentive and kept our drinks coming. In terms of the ambiance, it feels like a ski town sports bar. That's probably the best way to describe it. Casual dress, jerseys, maybe even ski boots, but the floor would be crazy slippery if you did that, so I wouldn't recommend it. They might not allow it even. It's very much a locals place and it's very lodgy feeling. It's definitely a place that we'll be coming back to again and again.

My husband and I stopped in to have lunch today after a lovely hike. We really like this small town and especially liked this bar and Grill with its country vibe. The bartender/waitress was very nice and helpful. It has a beautiful view, looking out to the mountain from their open window that we sat next to at a table. We both had a weekly lunch special, which was five wings and a side. The wings and the salad we chose were good as well as the service. The restaurant had a nice relaxing atmosphere in the afternoon.

    Medium chicken wings

If you like breaded chicken wings (or even if you don't) this place was really good. I have to warn you though - the medium wings were closer to hot. Pretty darn spicy. I'm not sure if they always run that hot but I was on fire. It has a cool locals vibe and a bunch of tvs to watch sports. I'll be back for sure.

    Cheese Curds

This place was awesome! The restaurant was absolutely packed when we came in, and the staff was very accommodating considering how crazy it was. I was so impressed! The town itself is absolutely adorable. This is a great place to come to watch sports, hang out, and have a beer. For appetizers, we got chips & queso and cheese curds. Both were good, but the cheese curds were GREAT! We also got tenders, wings, and fries. Wing flavors we got were Honey whiskey, KC Barbeque, Basian, Cajun,Buffalo Garlic, and Garlic Parmesan. All were great, but the honey whiskey seemed to be everyone's "best wings ever".

    Baked potatoes were delicious!

We had a great dinner! I'm vegetarian and found a lot on the menu. The GOAT salad with vegan chicken is awesome. Kids loved the chicken wings, cauliflower, and baked potatoes. Whisky sauce is delicious. The atmosphere is a bar. It was busy but not crowded. The music was great and tvs entertaining. We liked the music videos. Waitress was friendly and the service was fast. We will be back again soon.

    Enjoying the wings!!!

Best wings in Colorado! The dry rub is my favorite, and the Honey Whiskey is also great.

We walked in and it appeared to be a quiet night, we could see the bar was pretty empty. The hostess asked if we were staying at the hotel and we said no, we were dropping by for cocktails and wished to sit outside. She told us we could sit inside at a couch area by the entrance. One of our friends walked through the bar and noticed the fire pit seating areas were available and asked a server if we could sit there instead. She looked at us and said she would have to ask the hostess if any were available. Clearly they were and they didn't want our group sitting there for some reason. The bar was practically empty so not sure what the issue would be, perhaps it was because we were not hotel guests. After not getting back to us we just sat ourselves outside. Our server was Nivas. Nivas was not overly friendly but she was attentive. We ordered a couple rounds of cocktails. They were pricy but good. The fire pit tables are very nice. If you can sit outside at a fire pit I would recommend doing so.

Such a relaxing but chic spot to enjoy a meal after being out in the mountains. Our waitress was not overbearing and gave us enough time between bites to take it all in. She also made sure we got the full experience with the hot chocolate to marvel at its glory! The food was excellent, but the butternut squash soup was truly outstanding. It had a beautiful natural sweetness with a subtle hint of apple that made the flavor feel layered and comforting, and the pepitas added the perfect little crunch. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. We also ordered the hummus, which tasted incredibly fresh and crisp, light, bright, and perfectly refreshing alongside the richer dishes. But the real star of the experience was the hot chocolate. It was absolutely decadent and comforting, easily one of the best cups of hot chocolate I've ever had. Rich, smooth, and the perfect treat in a snowy Vail setting. Overall, Remedy Bar delivers a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and a cozy mountain-luxury experience. I would absolutely recommend stopping in if you're visiting Vail.

Dinner reservations are available 30 days out on Open Table, and they go instantly. I heard them quote 2+ hours for walk-ins, so definitely plan ahead if you can! Cocktails: I've always loved their cocktails, so even if you don't have dinner here, you should at least check out the bar. I've never been disappointed in any drink I've gotten. Dinner: - Butternut baba ganoush: all the flavors of baba ganoush but with butternut squash, and the warm pita was great - Fire roasted tomato and chorizo soup: a bit on the thinner side, smoky, interesting - Buttermilk sea salt biscuit: rich, flaky, with extra butter, country ham, and red pepper jelly - Warm pimento cheese: I don't usually care for pimento, but their's is great with grilled bread. They also use this on their burger at lunch - Wood grilled octopus: nice wood fire flavor, great ham hock beans underneath, grilled avocado - Crispy brussels sprouts: interesting flavor with the grilled avocado sikil pak - Wood fired pork chop: tender, generously sized - Grilled cobia: wonderful warming pineapple coconut curry, charred pineapple, and fresnos for a kick - Seafood diavolo: very flavorful (my dad found it too salty), served over polenta Lunch items: - Fresh catch: Argentenian shrimp and polenta - like shrimp and grits, very flavorful - Grilled cheese and soup: always a good combo - Burger: we added the onion rings, which had a good kick to them They also had a really solid kids' menu, which I appreciate. Despite how busy they are, service is attentive, and the manager came by personally to check in, which was a nice touch. Food and drink pacing was also good despite it being packed. They have their system down! There's a reason why we keep coming back trip after trip!

Other employees helped with service, including clearing plates and inquiring if we needed anything. The restaurant is definitely number one at customer service and I loved how everyone worked together. Even though the restaurant was busy, we did not feel lost in the shuffle. It was clean and inviting. They offered an array of choices, so there would be something for everyone if you decide to dine here. The food was good, preparation and display were done carefully, but the taste was overall just ok. The appetizers we chose were Warm Pimento Cheese, which was mildly flavorful, but good, and Prime Beef Carne Apache, which had no flavor at all. The main courses we chose included a pork dish and a chicken dish. The chicken had great flavor, but was placed on a bed of potato wedges which were not all completely cooked through. We felt this took away from the overall dish. The accompanied sauce made with yogurt and poppyseed did not add any flavor to the dish. The pork dish had great flavor. The drinks accompanying the food were made well and tasty. The kids menu has an array of choices as well, and our choice of macaroni and cheese was a hit! We ended with a frozen snicker bar dessert that tasted exactly like a frozen snickers bar. Overall, we had a very nice evening and would definitely visit again.

We stopped in at the Red Lion after skiing…read more It was crowded and we were looking for an outside table for six people. Only four of us were there as the other two were across the street at Christy's returning their rental skis. There was a table of 6 but the hostess said she couldn't sit us until the other two arrived. Right then, a guy walks up and asks for that same table. He was by himself and she gave the table with six chairs to him. His full party was clearly not there but she sat him anyway. Why is that allowed? Clearly favoritism. And to be clear, two of his friends showed up and the other three never arrived. So, at that point we told the hostess we were now a table of four and she said we could sit at a table that had 3 chairs. Well okay....we took it. We grabbed the table and asked other tables around us for the extra 3 chairs and everyone was nice enough to give us the extra chairs. Our server, Suzanne was excellent. Very attentive, friendly and immediately brought us our drinks and food. The nachos were tasty. Drinks were good but pricy. I give Suzanne 5 stars, food 3 stars hostess 0 stars. Treat everyone fairly and respectfully. The hostess could use customer service training.
