You can decide whether I'm bluffing or not. To clarify, I guess this is Stonebridge #1 Park, because there is also a Stonebridge #2 Park and for some reason they couldn't give them separate names? But this is an extremely popular park, so it's not just me glamorizing it. If you go to the park or drive past on any remotely nice day past 4pm, you will see DOZENS of people there. Just on the basketball court alone there are so many people hooping it, sometimes it stills boggles my mind because it doesn't seem like the park should be able to fit that many people. A few years ago Stonebridge #1's playground was completely torn out and renovated, and it is way awesomer now (it's a word don't even question it). Super clean equipment and fun stuff for all ages! Even as a fully grown adult I can't help but love their zipline ride or the swing sets. The regular swings are quite high up too, so you get a better swing once you get going, and there's even a double swing. Not only can you play around at the park, but there's also a nice gazebo and lots of picnic tables spread out around the grass, with built in grills nearby most of them. Tons of families go there in the evenings and have meals, and even family reunions. It's really sweet. And connected to the playground, basketball court and grill out areas is a ginormous field- there are soccer goals, a running path along the side, and all the room to do whatever your heart contents outside. There's often soccer practices held there, family and friends playing a game of football, people working out or other. My high school even hosts their annual Powderpuff football games on the field. Stonebridge #1 is a fantastic park, and don't you forget it (or get it mixed up with Stonebridge #2)!

My kid loves going there and can play for hours. It's well worth the $4.00 to get in. One thing that could be fixed is there is no wireless in the play area. This definitely sweeps the bottom of the board for the Milwaukee Trail parks. It's easily (and probably often) forgotten. It's small, and there's not much besides kind of a classic and dinky little playground set. As the name would suggest, it's the furthest south park, and it's precisely right next to Discovery Middle School where there's a much larger playground, as well as basketball courts, baseball & softball fields and much more. Basically, with that literally right nearby I have no idea why you'd ever come to Milwaukee South park. I mean hey, a parks a park but this one certainly ain't anything special.

These are in row 27 on up and the stairs are steep. The lack of variety of concessions is very noticeable. Hot dogs, nachos, Domino's Pizza, cinnomin almonds and walking tacos. Concourses are crowded and bathroom lines are long. We walk about 3 blocks for $5 parking. I really enjoy Bison Football games, so will be returning for the next 2 years. The wifi here is awful!

The park is spacious and well-maintained, with lots of grass and a fenced-in area to separate smaller, shyer dogs from their larger brethren. The biggest downsides to this dog run are the lack of shaded areas (there's a small canopy area, and a small tree or two, but not much besides that for so large a park), and the flat terrain doesn't provide much variety for curious dogs (and their humans) to explore. I also went on a weekday in the early morning, and we were the only ones there, so I can't vouch for the socialization level of the dogs there -- or their humans, for that matter. ;) I don't know how this compares to other dog parks in the area (if any), but it seems Village West provides a pretty decent place for your canine pals to socialize.
