The arcade was a huge hit, especially when we wanted a break from the heat, and the snack shack was perfect for grabbing a quick bite without having to leave the campground. There was always something to do, but it never felt crowded or chaotic. What stood out most was how comfortable and enjoyable the entire experience was. The snack shack was convenient and had plenty of tasty options throughout the day. One of our favorite parts was cruising around in the golf carts and exploring the campground. Everything was easy to access, and the staff did a fantastic job keeping the grounds looking beautiful. FLRV opened in the last couple years and is a great addition to the camping options around the Finger Lakes. Located about 1/3 of the way up the eastern side of Seneca Lake, the location provides easy access to the wineries, distilleries, and breweries along the lake.This is a family owned campground and the owners were very friendly and took pride in their business. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies are included at check-in.  The campground sites are very large and spread out. Being a newer campground, the trees are small, but that did not take away from the experience. Easy maneuverability, great wifi and water pressure, along with level sites make it a great place to stay. The bath house is emmaculate and rivals those at Fort Wilderness Resort. Amenities are minimal (no pool, playground, or golf carts), but they are bookended by two wineries with walking paths from the campground. Due to the minimal amenities, it is very quiet and relaxing especially in the evenings sitting around the campfire.  I look forward to returning to the Finger Lakes RV park as this is easily one of our top campgrounds when needing to relax.

The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Booked for the Bethel Woods concert goers.

The review AFTER the initial review!!…read more So I wrote a review and deleted it when the owner of the campground came to our campsite and kicked myself, my husband and my children off the site after writing the review! ! Apparently, you can be a business owner, have a PUBLIC website and give guests the option to review their stays BUT if it's not to their liking, they are allowed to use your power and authority, to do what they want. In this case, it was in the middle of me cooking my family dinner. He didn't even have the common courtesy to let us have dinner before telling us to pack it up. This all stemmed from my 13 year old son and his friend riding bikes too fast, throwing rocks at each others FEET, walking around with a flashlight and ALLEGEDLY jumping over the counter in the ice cream shop. First of all, they were riding BICYCLES!!! Peddle bikes, NOT ELECTRIC! So how fast can you actually go on a BIKE!! The rock "throwing".... They were waiting patiently OUTSIDE the gate to the pool for my husband to finish his conversation with the owner, who told him we were NOT ALLOWED to bring the boys back to his campground together again!!! Why would you tell someone that!!! They are BOYS... ages 12 and 13! They were NOT throwing rocks at people, there was no one in the vicinity of them... they threw a couple SMALL pebbles at each others feet!! As far as the flashlight episode goes, they were WALKING around the campground, in the dark, at night, with a flashlight that may have ACCIDENTALLY shined in a campsite or two while WALKING!!! They were not PURPOSELY doing it! Lastly, the jumping on the counter in the ice cream shop!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! You can CLEARLY and very EASILY walk around the counter if you want to! Jesus, the friend that came with my son had to be helped climbing in the back of my husbands truck!! There is NO WAY that him or my son climbed on a glass counter!! This campground is definitely geared more toward the elderly and the retired! Most sites there are permanent so the "weekenders" or the "vacationers" get the short end of the stick. They do not get the same treatment or respect as the "regulars" especially if they have kids! Boys are boys!!! I understand they need to be respectful and responsible, however, it's a campground, they are on peddle bikes, messing around with each other, minding their own business and hurting not ANYONE! My opinion would be do not go here if you have children, especially preteen to teenager boys. There is not much geared towards kids at this place. Almost all campgrounds have pools, ice cream and a playground. There are other options. If you have children, maybe pick a better place that is more for your children. Unfortunately, camping at a place that doesn't put children first, will no longer be my first choice. I also want to add that my husband and I don't smoke marijuana but it was definitely present at the campground... so my boys can't be "boys" but I have to smell that crap everyday I'm camping, because it's "legal" For years, I would have proudly and happily given Belden Hill a 10 star review but after this weekend and feeling like this place had it out for my boys from the second we showed up, it's a one because I can't give a zero. One of the BEST(and the worse) parts of this whole experience was, as he (the owner) was talking to my husband, he said REPEATEDLY, "boys will be boys" Pick a side Brian!!! Either the elderly or the vacationeers! I bet you didn't tell the people that complained about us "boys will be boys" I can only hope they see this review and realize you are playing both sides!! But then again, since you favor the elderly and the retired, they probably don't have much to do with google reviews! The whole experience is sickening!

My husband and I have been vacationing on different lakes for…read more5 years and this was our first time staying on Kekua and we have decided it is our new favorite. The campground is wide open with a beautiful view of the lake. The grounds are kept immaculate and it is so quite and peaceful even though it's not very private. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked and the host was around even day checking on things. She was wonderful! We loved our stay and our campsite. Can't wait to be back!

There was an issue with water but the Ranger assigned allowed me to hook up to the next site that was vacant. The resort is not the most beautiful I've been too but they do have full hook ups and plenty of space on each site. There's is also plenty of room to walk and hike. Plenty of entertainment for the kids.

Went on a climbing trip to a crag close to Nanticoke PA and luckily found this campground to stay…read moreat for one night during Memorial Weekend. For 2 of us, paid $30 total for one night for a tent site (tent sites are in the strip of land across the road from the main office). The tent site was much better than I thought. 1. only 3 parties there in a very large area reserved for tent only camping, we were very spread out and it was pretty peaceful 2. camp site right next to a beautiful creek! 3. had electric outlets and tap faucet right next to the tent site. We didn't bring anything that could be plugged into an outlet but thinking in the future I could be sitting in a hammock and watching a movie on my laptop while being charged 4. camp site didn't have a fire pit or an obvious hole in the ground where you make your fire safely but we were out climbing very late and too tired to make a fire anyways when we got back. Lots of fallen branches you can collect to make a fire. The other 2 parties had built fires, didn't see how they did it. 5. the shower house closest to the main offices had large showers which were in decent level of cleanliness, paper towels kept running out though so bring your own Overall, very happy with this campground and will definitely come back in the future! A couple of things I noticed (1) the area where RV's are parked looked pretty crowded and also loud (2) I don't think I saw anyone else wearing masks around the campground, even when a lot of people were going in and out of the office. The 2 of us may be the only ones wearing masks there, when going into the office and using the bathroom

Since then there have been a lot of changes under the management of the new owners!!! The new owners have done a terrific job updating and cleaning up the property in just a short 6 months. They have remodeled cabins, painted the bath houses and pavilions, reinforced and painted the playground and fixed the roads that lead to each of the 3 levels of the grounds. That's just the beginning of what they have in store for upcoming seasons. It has been so much fun meeting new people who have been so kind and friendly!! We've had numerous gatherings at the main pavilion with live music, food, games and hay rides!!! 4th of July weekend they put on a fireworks display and at Halloween a Trunk or Treat for the kids!!! The food as very good. The Chicken Cranberry Croissant (toasted croissant with pulled chicken and cranberry salad with arugula salad) was our favorite. I've come back while driving through just for that chicken sandwich. Unfortunately we were traveling with it and I asked them to separate all the items for us and they did not. Would have been nice to reconstruct it ourselves and not have a soggy sandwich when we got to our destination. Much better to eat immediately so make sure you do that. I would have to say space is limited and the placement of the furniture makes it hard to dine in. It was very interesting because there were parties smaller than us and they all seemed cramped as well. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in on the left, we all had to sit on the bench because the circular table in the middle of the space blocked us from sitting on the other side of our table. It was very awkward because it was hard for our party to get out and the other table was full and wasn't being helpful by scooching a bit haha. I would recommend the food here but only if you're in a small party and looking for a quick bite.
