Something the campsite is supposed to handle.. yet my family repaired their camper, and continued to stay there. They were there almost every single weekend, no late payments, no issues. They were customers for years. It's pathetic that the owners act like children, and will legitimately ignore you. They act as if their place is a gift to anyone that stays there, and you should be considered lucky if you get to stay there. When in reality you should be considered lucky you did not need a tetanus shot after coming there.

All worked out pretty well. We made reservations for a camp site in advance, arrived late in the evening right after the sunset and were greeted by a friendly staff at the campground. Our ranger showed us all available sites generously offering his tips and taking into account our considerations. There are bathrooms, hot showers, and even laundromat on-site. Perfect location, close to Delaware Water Gap. Definitely coming back.

I spent $98 total for 1 night: $80 for the campsite + $18/day EV surcharge--a ripoff for few open amenities during winter months and a level-2 charge that only got me to 50% before I departed. I have stayed at other RV parks that were as little as $25/night for the same sleep-in-your-car experience. I was grateful that this KOA was open during the off-season and that the owner answered the phone after hours to confirm they were still open during the winter and had electrical hook ups that we could use. But the same money was better spent on my return trip on a nice room at a Radisson hotel with a ChargePoint charger.

They have a stocked pond on site as well as a pool, splash pad and mini spa. We've stayed on sites- W-4, W-7, F-4 and have had family stay in Cabins throughout our time here. All sites and cabins are well kept, tidy and provide both elements of a private and social gathering. The bathhouse is near the main office while the other restrooms throughout property are no more than a 2-3 minute walk from your site. The cabins do have a full bathroom and you do not need to hold and press to keep the shower head on. The Cabins also offer a gazebo with propane grill. The nature trail on site is short but can be challenging with unlevel ground and nature's confetti (wet leaves) ultimately bringing you towards Lake Warren (bonus there is a beautiful koi pond on the right hand side of the residential gravel road in the residential area). Past the pool area there are also basketball courts and a tennis court. Every weekend there are activities that are family and budget friendly. We can't wait to return.

We enjoy a campsite surrounded by nature & woods. We booked their special of camp two consecutive wknds and you can leave the camper there. After spending one night we decided we did not want to be there the following wknd. We spoke w/ the office & the woman took notes and said the office manager would have to make the decision on refund & that SHE would be in all day the following day. We took many walks w/the dog & had no issues until Saturday early evening. There is a home on the property (assuming the owners home). As we were walking we were approached by two dogs OFF leash. One was calm, the other not so much. Having had a run in with a neighborhood dog and the dog jumping on me this was not looking like a good situation. A man & woman strolled up the road w/ no sense of urgency. I yelled & voiced myself while hovering over our dog and my boyfriend trying to block their dog who was growling & barking. Keep in mind it was Pet wknd at the campground. It was said to me after getting quite upset "Are you hurt yet?' Not something someone should say when encountering an aggressive dog. The next day we were told by the office that a manager was on HIS way to talk to us. He was a very young man assuming related to the owners. He was though very kind & polite & said a refund would be issued. I did mention the dog situation, and he was not very responsive so definitely thinking now those were his parents. Site next door was very loud Saturday night, with yelling & a dj size speaker outside that was still going at 10:45PM, quite hours are 10PM-7AM. No one riding around checking on things. Again, the campground was nice, clean & mostly friendly staff, but we will not return due to some rules that ownership/management do not follow. Note-they have mini golf & charge $8.00 per person, showers by the office are push button & one only stayed on for 3 seconds. Did let manager know.

The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Legoland and NYC aren"t far but you need to absolutely have a car as there are no trips or shuttles despite all the potential it has to be amazing again. We tried to get an Uber since we were in a motorhome and didn't bring our car but gave up after no driver would take our trip as they don't seem to like going there. It's the biggest bait and switch we have ever seen on a campground and I expect if Good Sam ever bothers to go back to review or check the campground, they would re-rate them appropriately. This place is clean, my girls commented the bathrooms were super clean, the grounds were well manicured. A pool was offered, a mini front office/store, and bingo. You will be assigned a key card to re-enter the grounds, there is a gate at the front with only one road for incoming and outgoing. Owners were very nice. There are a few rules and might sound a little strict but any sensible camper won't have any issues. I can see where the Pocono Speedway could bring in the party people, again I had no issues. We stayed here as were doing Camelback adventures which was conveniently 10 minutes away. 15 min away is a Walmart, CVS. I would stay here again, and cost was reasonable. My site had full hookup.
