Something the campsite is supposed to handle.. yet my family repaired their camper, and continued to stay there. They were there almost every single weekend, no late payments, no issues. They were customers for years. It's pathetic that the owners act like children, and will legitimately ignore you. They act as if their place is a gift to anyone that stays there, and you should be considered lucky if you get to stay there. When in reality you should be considered lucky you did not need a tetanus shot after coming there.

All worked out pretty well. We made reservations for a camp site in advance, arrived late in the evening right after the sunset and were greeted by a friendly staff at the campground. Our ranger showed us all available sites generously offering his tips and taking into account our considerations. There are bathrooms, hot showers, and even laundromat on-site. Perfect location, close to Delaware Water Gap. Definitely coming back.

Not all RV parks that are open during the off-season charge cheap rates. This KOA should reduce the cost or waive the EV fee during the off-season. I spent $98 total for 1 night: $80 for the campsite + $18/day EV surcharge--a ripoff for few open amenities during winter months and a level-2 charge that only got me to 50% before I departed. I have stayed at other RV parks that were as little as $25/night for the same sleep-in-your-car experience. I was grateful that this KOA was open during the off-season and that the owner answered the phone after hours to confirm they were still open during the winter and had electrical hook ups that we could use. But the same money was better spent on my return trip on a nice room at a Radisson hotel with a ChargePoint charger.

All sites and cabins are well kept, tidy and provide both elements of a private and social gathering. The bathhouse is near the main office while the other restrooms throughout property are no more than a 2-3 minute walk from your site. The cabins do have a full bathroom and you do not need to hold and press to keep the shower head on. The Cabins also offer a gazebo with propane grill. The nature trail on site is short but can be challenging with unlevel ground and nature's confetti (wet leaves) ultimately bringing you towards Lake Warren (bonus there is a beautiful koi pond on the right hand side of the residential gravel road in the residential area). Past the pool area there are also basketball courts and a tennis court. Every weekend there are activities that are family and budget friendly. We can't wait to return.

I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. As it stands, the value for RV campers is simply not there. The entrance has been beautifully done, but once you enter as a campsite guest, that changes. We stayed at this campground years ago when sites were around $70 per night. At that time, the campground was basic but acceptable, especially since campers had access to the pool which helped justify the price. We just returned and found the property significantly changed, with much of it converted into luxury cabins while the lower loop of campsites remains completely untouched. The check-in experience was positive; the staff member was very friendly and welcoming. That said, the current pricing for campsites is hard to justify based on what is actually provided. Campers no longer have access to the pool, only cabin guests do, which is entirely disappointing. There is no reason why the pool could not be offered to all paying guests. There are no meaningful upgrades to the campsite infrastructure itself. In fact, the sites are increasingly worn down rather than improved. For the price being charged, I would expect at minimum some investment in basic site upkeep--such as replacing warped wooden picnic tables and upgrading old, rusted fire rings. Instead, the campsites are largely unchanged from years ago, while rates have increased. With what they've invested, the campsites need to reflect that as well. But it fell entirely short.

This place is clean, my girls commented the bathrooms were super clean, the grounds were well manicured. A pool was offered, a mini front office/store, and bingo. You will be assigned a key card to re-enter the grounds, there is a gate at the front with only one road for incoming and outgoing. Owners were very nice. There are a few rules and might sound a little strict but any sensible camper won't have any issues. I can see where the Pocono Speedway could bring in the party people, again I had no issues. We stayed here as were doing Camelback adventures which was conveniently 10 minutes away. 15 min away is a Walmart, CVS. I would stay here again, and cost was reasonable. My site had full hookup.
