There was a large selection of different sized clubs. The course has 18 holes. All the greens seemed well taken care of and in good condition. I enjoyed that they had places to hold your score card when writing, something I haven't found at every course I've been to! Overall, I believe the course is fun, and well-taken care of, making for a fun evening activity for the price ($10 for adults)!

We booked this venue a year ago with Chaz and got worried around February because we could not reach her. Finally, we connected with Paige Carson, the new coordinator, and she is WONDERFUL! She was so responsive and catered to our every need. The most impressive part is how honest she was and told us the previous coordinator had over quoted us on several things! It is rare that your total price actually goes down when planning a wedding! LOL. Leading up to the wedding, she was so easy to work with and you could tell she really wanted everything to be perfect! Here is break down of my thoughts of Rehearsal and the wedding day: Rehearsal: Paige was awesome! She helped guide us through the walk through and worked extremely well with our Pastor. We had our rehearsal dinner here as well and the food was fabulous! We did a pasta bar and it was excellent. So much more relaxing than going to a restaurant and the price was so much better as well! Wedding: Oh my gosh! It was so perfect! We arrived at 8:00am to begin hair/make up and the room was perfect for the bride to relax and enjoy. We had mimosas and was able to bring in our own food for breakfast. We had them prepare our lunches and they happened to be grilling that day for lunch so we had great sandwiches, fries and salads. Again, excellent prices for a group our size! The guys arrived around noon and enjoyed time playing with the golf simulators and relaxing. Kurt, the general manager, made a point to meet each person and offer his services. The girls kept saying they love Kurt and he "was their friend"! Paige and her staff kept popping in to see if we needed anything. They were all very attentive! When it came time for the ceremony to start, Paige was right there guiding us and everything ran like clockwork! (later I found out she had to step in with the DJ and provide power cords that he forgot! Never did she bring that stress to me....she took care of it and I never knew!) Decorating Crew: AMAZING! Everything was absolutely beautiful! We simply brought in things we wanted to be used and they took care of it. They also have a backroom full of items that you can use. We used their easels, backdrop lighting and material and material for the arch. It was beautifully done! Food: Chef Jeff is beyond amazing! Never ever have I attended a wedding or large event with such wonderful food! We had plated dinners with choice of filet or parmesan chicken. Everything came out hot and perfectly prepared! We received so many compliments on how excellent the food was! It was so good that we are definitely going to come back for their Friday night dinners! Well, I said I was going to keep this short but well....too many wonderful things to say to keep it short! This Indy park spans 85 acres and dates back to 1963. It was formerly known as Northeastway, as has…read morea lot of amenities to offer. The park has a golf course across the street but I did not go visit over there. It does look like a nice course and the have a driving range and a small club house there. The park has a decent amount of parking available. I would caution you though, when walking on the green space, be carful. The grounds gets very soggy after some precipitation. I almost lost my shoe in the mud a couple of times. The park itself has a vast amount of green space that could be used for activities such as soccer, football, a picnic, flying a kite, or playing catch. You will find a 18 hole disc golf course near the front of the park. it appeared to be a good course. There were a ton of people playing on it while I was there. In the vicinity of the disc golf course, next to a pavilion is a horse shoe pit. The pit has seen better days, but will do to satisfy your horse shoe itch. The park also has three shelters and a large pavilion available to rent. They all have picnic tables under them and grills just outside of them. The shelters are in mediocre shape and could use some renovating. The pavilion is near the tennis and volleyball courts and is decent. The park's full basketball court was nice though. It almost had me lace up and make it rain. Next to the basketball court is two nice sand volleyball courts that are fenced in and 2 sets of 2 tennis courts, for a total of 4.The tennis courts are in pretty good shape and are both fenced in too, with a low fence being in the center. The park has a playground, but it has old and limited equipment. It is on a bed of wood chips and its equipment consists of a large ADA accessible jungle gym with monkey rings, slides, and a bridge, a bank of toddler swings, a bank of traditional swings, and a ADA swing. My little guy was not feeling it. The park has a nice looking water park attached to it. There is a lot to do in the park from what I see. However, it was closed for the season during my visit so I could only view the empty pools from a far. This park has a lot of potential, but the amenities need to be updated and the grounds need to be a bit better maintained. There was trash all over the place at shelter #3 near the back of the park. They say the park has restrooms, but I could not find them while I was there.

Back to the golf, I love that the golf carts keep your score and can email it out to you. It is also convenient to see everything at once. There are areas where the fairways are narrow and balls are flying, so you do need to be a little more cognizant of play! There is a ranger to keep things moving at the start. We were there early in the year, but I believe they have beer runners as well! There is a driving range next to the clubhouse. Parking is easy. Coming around to hole 10, easy to get to the restroom and get lunch at the Par 5 Pub. Friendly staff, clean carts. My only complaint is that they definitely slow the golf carts down a lot on downhills and bridges (kind of funny how slow). Overall, very recommended. Had a great Mother's Day at Brookshire. We annually get golf reservations for Father's Day as a round of golf is a perfect gift and a great way to get some fresh air. But, I think the guys like the beer cart that delivers beer while out on the course. Anyway, there is a nice facility/club house that hosts weddings and other events, has a pro shop and a snack bar downstairs. The pro shop and snack bar are open to the public as well. Recently, the facility hosted area residents for the 2024 Eclipse viewing. Guests could sit on their lovely patio or bring chair to sit in the grass. The snack bar has a limited menu of sandwiches and fries which are prepared fresh. The staff is super friendly and banters with the regulars. There are tv monitors in the eating area and about six tables. You can also take your food outside and eat on the patio and watch the golfers. I had the chicken club wrap which is served warm and is very good. the sandwich was filled with bite-size pieces of chicken, tomatoes and lots of onions. I like onions but if you don't you may want them to hold the onions. The fries are ok. Very hot, but not crispy as I like. The fries are over salted for my taste. The burgers are good served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The kids enjoyed their hot dogs. They have a good selection of beer and the prices are really reasonable. This is a great facility that many people do not know is open to the public.

The course is well kept, greens are nice, fairways are excellent to play, the holes are challenging with a good amount of sand, water, trees and doglegs.
