The only reason they get a star is because I have to leave one…read more I asked for a full grooming of my dog, to include bathing, etc. I was also VERY specific on how to groom her, which, honestly, is 3 things; do not cut her ears, tail and leave her mustache. I pick her up and the first thing I saw was her butchered tail and no mustache. I asked him and he told me all I said was ears. That's impossible, this is how I've always had her groomed, I say it EVERYTIME. I even repeated it multiple times, but he never acknowledged what I said, just went on about his business. I get frustrated and tell him that that's not true, I paid him, I even tipped him (even though I shouldn't have!!), and I left. I get her in the car and noticed there is still dirt on her face and stuff stuck in the hair around her eyes. NEVER AGAIN. Ever.

Being the daughter of a Marine, I felt obligated to give him a chance. I was not disappointed! My golden retriever is a little reactive to things she doesn't like. He sat on the floor getting to know my dog for a long while before I left her there. He has such an awesome demeanor! I felt very confident leaving my baby. An hour later I got the call that she was ready to go home. I went to pick her up and she looked great! Semper Fi did an amazing job! We'll be back!

If I could give negative stars- I WOULD…read more Took my sweet young boy Phoenix into get neutered and walked out unknowingly signing his death certificate. Dr. Weiss pure negligence towards my cat resulted in him being KILLED. His trachea was punctured while intubating for a NEUTER- which is not necessary as males can be awake for their procedure, that inevitably lead to air leakage that suffocated him to death. Dr. Weiss neglected to diagnose AND treat the cause of Phef's troubled breathing in a returning appointment- giving him steroids while his poor body filled with air. They also kept him in his carrier overnight with no supervision-WITHOUT my permission along with allowing my cat to piss inside his carrier, removing the bottom without telling me and proceeded to return him without the bottom of the carrier. I found my little son triple the size and crunchy to the touch as he had defecated on himself hiding from me-waiting to die only a year and a half after having him all because of the MALPRACTICE of DR. WEISS. I am sickened to my stomach for the lack of EMPATHY towards the hole in my chest that was once my son. I was ROBBED the next twenty years I was supposed to have with Phoenix. My whole world is crushed yet Dr. Weiss expects the bill to his neutering to be paid while taking zero accountability towards Phef's DEATH. I hope by sharing my experience- NOBODY will EVER have to go through what I did.

Jayce was Abby's groomer. He was absolutely incredible! Her haircut is PERFECT! He was very professional but super personable at the same time. He made me feel like Abby was in great hands! I got a call about an hour tops after I dropped her off so it was nice to know she was taken care of immediately instead of sitting in a cage for hours. Unfortunately, I couldn't pick her up right away as I was out running an errand but I knew she was in great care so wasn't worried. Anyway, I can't say enough positive things about Jayce. See him if you can! We all love out furry kids and want the best for them and I assure you, Jayce is the best! Side note, he is in Michigan City temporarily while the MC groomer is out. Jayce is out of Merrillville, but..... HE IS WORTH THE DRIVE!!! :) Also, Abby is a yorkie so she got the short yorkie cut. She's super adorable, but that haircut is the icing on the cake!

She proceeded to come up to me and tell me how she "wants to be informed" but then was very rude to me and basically told me I was wrong. It was a private conversation with my boyfriend, as I have guinea pigs so it made me sad seeing their lack of hay, plastic hides, no companion and no toys. It was highly inappropriate.
