Had a meatball sub from here a long time ago. Remember that it was really great! Stopped by today hoping for that same meatball sub I had about 6-8 months ago. The sandwich itself is tasty don't get me wrong but where are the meatballs?? Seems like they sliced up about 2-3 meatballs. Slices of meatballs on a meatball sub?? Where I come from you use whole meatballs on a sub. Tasty but wasn't what I expected. Please go back to whole meatballs on a sub. Maybe stick to slices of meatballs for the pizzas. Me and my friends went to eat there last night and shortly after that we all felt sick and now all three of us have bad food poisoning and had to call off work because it's really that bad. Note we ate rustys and haven't had breakfast or lunch because we literally can't even eat anything so we know the food poisoning came from rustys. read more

I usually go a couple times a week and order to eat there. The last couple times my food never showed up, a couple weeks ago they forgot to make garlic bread, tonight they didn't make my pizza, after waiting over 30+ min I end up asking for my money back. read more

This place has great pizza, sandwiches, and wings! We were pleasantly surprised! The place in Goleta was also clean.

There are so many Rusty's in town and thankfully I haven't had a bad experience in any of them. This location is rarely jam packed so it's a nice spot to grab lunch or dinner. Salad bar has a great selection and the pizza is always piping hot...what more could you ask for! I got the lunch special this time around: personal pizza, one round of the salad bar and a small drink. Great portion for a child or a light lunch. Love their wings and the small arcade is a nice atmosphere plus. read more

I picked up a large pizza today and I was so disappointed. They told me twenty minutes, I was there exactly in 20 minutes. The pizza was over cooked, dried out and the olives were shriveled up, it was horrible. I could not get over how dried out it was. I don't know if there is a new owner at the Goleta location on Calle Real, but it used to be good. I paid $26.00 too, rip off. read more

Fun little pizza spot with an exceptionally high ceiling (physically, it's like 3 stories up). The pizza is good, the kids' individual pizzas were better than expected (flat/crispy/tasty) and the salad bar even had decent offerings of relatively fresh ingredients. The service was on point and it was clean. If you're going to go out for pizza with the kids, take 'em here. It's good. read more

The man by the name Roy is always rude when taking my order today was the last straw I won't be going here anymore. Food and building is 5 stars but the cashier is not. He plays around too much and rushes me to order I speak to him in English and he responds in Spanish, fine. He's very inconsiderate of the client. He even questions my order each time and gives his personal opinion. He is UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. You need to remove him from the register and dealing with people. We were staying close by at the campground with family members. We placed our order at 2PM for 3 pizzas to be picked up at 6PM. All three pizzas were to be the same large combinations. Upon arriving at 6:10 PM they hadn't even been started, in fact they looked all over for the order, and the cashier lady even started helping the 4 others in the kitchen. This is a no frills pizza shop with plenty of seating. This is actually the largest pizza restaurant I've ever been in. I guess they've designed it to have pizza parties. I had just had some food about 2 hours earlier before we visited and escape room a few miles away. So I decided to get a personal 7" pan pizza. It cost $5. I had the option of thin or thick crust and I opted for the thick crust. The sauce was tasty and I had a good amount of pepperoni and sausage on it. Great lunch special . $7.99 for a personal pizza, one trip salad bar, and a drink. The salad bar is awesome. It has fresh spinach, arugula, leaf lettuce, red bell peppers, garbanzo beans, cauliflower, and much more. Plus, the wooden bowls make the salad better in my eyes. Bottom Line: Rusty's is not what it used to be Im not sure what Rusty's is playing at with this new cathedral built for Pizza in the Calle Real center. It a huge kind of train station looking place which is very nice but certainly out of place. Im not sure what was wrong with their other location which has been there since I was a kid but this appears to be better for them. The problem that I have with Rustys is that every time we go, I end up spending $40 for a pizza and a couple drinks. Im trying to go to their website to check the menu for reference and it keeps asking me to sign in, like Im a web administrator. Rusty's just isnt as good as it used to be. Its never bad, the food is always pretty good but for the money, Im just not that into it anymore. read more

Went in closer to closing so we already felt bad because the place was empty. Even though we came last minute they were extremely sweet there! The employee Roy was the sweetest man ever! Great pizza! I especially enjoy the chili verde with fresh cilantro. The delivery staff is very courteous but I have cannot say the same of the telephone answering services. On more than one occasion I have experience rude customer service. I discovered the online ordering system and highly recommended this avenue instead of calling in an order. read more

If you like Round Table Pizza, then you'll like Rusty's. They are so identical. They bake their pizza on a conveyor belt type of contraption (whatever happened to old style pizza ovens?) with what seems like pre made crust, but I digress. All I know is that their pizza is pretty bomb. The crust has a slight crunch to it and just the right amount of sauce. I also love the blend of cheese they use and they are not too stingy on the toppings. Even delivery arrives promptly (about 25 minutes) and hot. Consistently pretty awesome! Solid 3 stars. read more

The salad bar at this Rusty's location is the largest! The quick lunch pizza's are inconsistent as far as the amount of toppings/sauce/cheese. I hope management can provide additional training to the staff so customers will receive consistency with their visits. read more

While staying at a local hotel, we called for delivery service. From our phone order to our door delivery the customer service was friendly, accommodating, and accurate. Being a busy Saturday night, eta was 45 mins-an hour. Our pizza & hot wings were delivered within 40 mins piping hot and fresh. It was nice to find they took in account we ordered from a hotel and provided plates, napkins, packets of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes to make our meal more enjoyable experience. We will definitely order from Rusty's Pizza Parlor again whenever we're in town. read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the pizza was ok. The service was poor. There was no description on toppings on the specialty pizzas. We asked the cashier what topping where on each pizza and if they had any type of menu,and she looked at us like we were crazy. She eventually told us that they were out of menus.
