We always love to get Rusty's whenever we visit the SB area from Lompoc. This is one of our go-to Rusty's locations and today's work crew underscored why. We came in about 45 mins before closing on a Monday no less. I had entered our order via their web page and our pies were literally coming out of the oven as we walked in. The counter staff was very helpful and allowed us to add to our order, even though closing time was pending. I could see the restaurant appeared clean, especially the kitchen. There was a little wear & tear near the salad bar. The flooring between carpet and tile area, the border is damaged and should be addressed by management. The bathroom I used was clean & serviceable, although some goon had administered low intelligence graffiti to the bathroom stall door. So, the food: As usual, you cannot miss with Rusty's pizza pie. Their recipe and supplies are so tasty. Just a great pie for being a "chain" pizza joint. We added their breadsticks, which if you have not tried them, are dreamy-yummy-gooey-cheesy great! The "kids" (my adult daughters) love to dip the cheesy bread in ranch, but I love Rusty's pizza sauce. If you're ever in the Santa Barbara, Goleta area and want some pizza-pie, Rusty's is great pie, and all the locations we've visited over the years are consistently pleasant.

Small pan and thin crust pizza and wings.

We stopped by Rusty's not knowing what to expect but were delighted. Got a small pan pizza and small thin crust pizza and both were yummy! I really enjoyed the thin crust. Wings were good as well 4/5. Would stop by again! Lots of seating on a Saturday around 6:00pm and there was a spacious parking lot. Also saw restrooms in the building but we did not use them. The cashier was very friendly as well and they gave us a to-go box for our leftover pizza slices.

Salad bar has lots of options, the pizza is really good I like the thin crust , and the mango habanero wings are good but need to be well done ! Love the arcade games, definitely kid and family friendly vibe restaurant perfect place to chat and catch up over a good pizza.

THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THEIR MEATBALL MARINARA SANDWHICH. My fiance and I arrived to Rusty's about an hour before closing on a Friday night because it was the only thing open when we arrived in Santa Barbara near us and we did not want fast food. We were hoping to get wings from them but unfortunately they sold out (what we get for wanting wings at 11pm LOL). Anyways, we decided to share a meatball marinara sandwich which I was pretty excited about. Total for the sandwich came out to be about $9 which is okay but when I saw the sandwich come out I was a little bit disappointed. The bread was good and crispy but I wish they had put more meatballs and sauce in the sandwich. It was bad nor was it really good but it did do it's job of getting us full that night. Hoping to come back to try the wings and/or their pizza which is what they are famous for. Will be back Rusty!

Yumm! I have always loved Rusty's - the crunchy crust, the perfectly cooked dough, cheese and toppings, and always served, picked up or delivered hot. The staff is always super friendly and this is the only pizza where I eat the crust (thin crust). I love that they are generous with the toppings and always a go-to. Thank you!

Way over charging. They just raised their prices again. Charge almost 4 $ for delivery. Too many other options at better prices.

My favorites are: The little gems salad with chicken added. You have to get the green goddess dressing! They make it in house and it's the bomb!! The bahn mi sandwich. It has house made tender brisket, fresh pickled veg on a baguette. So delicious! You can also get it as a salad! You'll never even miss the bread! The Daisy burger. Big meaty patty, with melty cheese, piled high with lettuce, tomato and red onion with a special sauce on a buttery brioche bun! You can really sink your teeth into this one! It also comes with a generous portion of perfectly crispy on the outside tender on the inside fries! Mmm mmm!!! They get really busy so come early!! Definitely a must try!

You order at the counter and the food is brought over to your table. The service was friendly, though it could have been better--we had to get our own water, cutlery, and napkins and nobody came to check on us throughout the meal. Maybe that was because we came right at opening on the weekend. Food-wise, some dishes were better than others. The smoked brisket banh mi was disappointing, mainly because the brisket was chewy. The burrata-tomato salad with added chicken breast was good and felt fresh and satisfying. The chicken salad sandwich was okay, but the bread was too hard, which made it less enjoyable. On the positive side, my son really enjoyed the kids' grilled cheese sandwich with fries. Overall, The Daisy has a lovely atmosphere, and a great dog-friendly patio, but the food was a bit hit-or-miss during our visit.

And although restaurants need to make adjustments, those dining out, do also and want to get the value for their money spent. The service was nice and we have dinned at Nikka's for years. But the portions in food has gone way down. We ordered the fish n chips and the fish now looks like small fish sticks, the fries are such a small portions and the cole slaw is now in a sauce size container for what you get for a $20 meal. Now let's compare that with another local restaurant that has slightly raised their prices, but the quality and quantity has remained plus you get a view and great service (see pictures). Although, we try and support our small businesses, some restaurants have to consider what keeps the customers coming back where times may be challenging for them as well.

It feels expensive upfront but with portion sizes, it's a great deal. For a lighter meal, just share a sandwich and soup with a friend, a lover, whoever! The house lemonade and tea are delicious, with the lemonade being perfectly sweet and tart. Soup of the Day was French Onion, which is on the sweeter side, and comes with cheese and a crostini soaking up the broth. Onions are very nicely caramelized. It was tasty but the portion of this soup was a bit large for the intensity of the soup sweetness, almost like syrup after eating it enough. Any other soup - I'd be fine with the portion size. Partner's review of the BLT: "Plenty of bacon and toasted very nice on sourdough, the sourdough with the soup was balanced. I can tell they added a little bit of butter on the sourdough for the extra crunch. Vegetables - they're vegetables, FRESH though." I had The Griller, hot with provolone on a bolillo roll. Packed with flavor from the peppers and olives, plus all the meat protein was the bomb!

What is weird is that they looked so good!
