I had actually booked an appointment with Safelite AutoGlass but I found their automated system to be such a pain in the rear to try to navigate. Never actually spoke to a live person--even after they missed 2 separate appointments to fix my car. When I called ACR & Mobile Glass, I expected to have my appointment scheduled days--if not weeks--later, since that had been my experience with that other company. But not only did someone answer the phone when I called, I was given an accurate and fair quote over the phone. And my windshield was replaced the very next day! The owner himself traveled to my home at no additional cost to me, removed to broken windshield, installed the new one and handled cleaning up the tiny pieces of broken glass inside my car! Tod was on time, the first time--and was very professional and I appreciate his attention to detail after the installation of the new windshield. I had initially called Safelite (big name, nationally known company) and they quoted me $230 to replace a window on my pickup truck, and it would take 4 days for them to be able to send a tech out. I wasn't willing to wait that long so I called Discount. They charged my $145 after tax ($90 cheaper than Safelite!) and the repairs were done THAT DAY. Maurice is a very experienced and professional technician and i will be calling him for any future repairs, although I hope I don't need any!
