Rented an RV for the weekend. Prior to the rental weekend they were very communicative. Once the Rental day came and our payment was final, we had a hard time getting anyone to respond. We had the RV dropped off at a military base and it was agreed that they would drive in on base and set it up. The guy who delivered didn't have a CA Real ID" and they wouldn't let him in the base. We needed up having to set it up and there was some issues with the hook up hoses. We had to purchase a hose and it still leaked. I left a couple messages and emails and got no answers. We ended up figuring everything out and had a great time. The guy brought his passport and picked up the RV with no issue. It took several calls after the rental to get ahold of someone about the issues we had with the drop off and set up. The only reason we got a return call is that I indicated that I was going to write a review. All in all, not such a bad experience that I wouldn't rent from them again. We had a great customer service experience with our rental. There was a problem when we arrived with the rental we were supposed to have but the director of operations, Klaidas immediately offered to switch us to a newer model vehicle so we could get on our way. He also allowed us to keep our car in their lot (which was gated and felt like a safe place to leave it) so we didn't have to take our car back home before the trip. Horrible! They totally scammed us. They lied to us about having a vehicle and then switched our reservation from a class A to a class C. The new reservation vehicle had the driver and passenger seat disconnected from the rest of the vehicle. we are a family with small children so obviously this would not work. Of course the price is much more expensive now because we're looking for a rental immediately and a limited selection it's only available . I will never give them business with them again. At least if Matt is involved. Yes... We share the same name. Klaidas is awesome. He was my first contact with the company originally. He did my original quote, took care of setting up this appointment and of charging me for the awning installation. He the asked me if I would go online and give them a positive review. I agreed. The mechanics are extremely nice. I think Matt is the problem here. This all started the day they installed my awning. They were supposed to do both that day and quoted me 1.5 hours for both jobs. The day they installed the awning, the mechanic ( no disrespect. I don't remember his name) looked at the horn and realized it didn't come with an air compressor. So he showed me online what type of air compressor and said when you come back we will get this knocked out super quick. So they hooked up the awning and told me to make an appointment after I got my air compressor and come back and they would honor the quote of half of an hour of labor for installing the horn. Thursday morning I got stuck in a Dr appointment. 3 times I tried calling Klaidas to ask if I could still come in and get it done today because I was going on the road tomorrow. Nobody ever answered the phone. At 12:30 I showed up at the location. I was told the mechanic was at lunch and would need back soon. Cool! He came back and started work on my vehicle at 1:30. He had to leave for about 10 minutes to run and get a switch during that time as well because he was struggling with the switch I already had installed. Also, he spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out my light switches because he told me to push the button and it blew a fuse and then my lights got all screwy. At 2:30 Matt came out and got upset because the mechanic was working on my van and not other things. I told him I had made an appointment. He said okay but we just can't do this right now. I again reminded him that was when they told me to come in. Can you come back tomorrow morning? I said no I'm leaving in the morning like I have said from there beginning of scheduling this appointment. Matt tried to convince the mechanic to stop working on my van and prep the campers going out tomorrow. The mechanic said he only needed 30 more minutes and told him prepping for tomorrow was done but was going to take a break because he wasn't feeling well and was really struggling trying to understand how the installation should go. He wasn't feeling well because he was hungover. He admitted that to me in the beginning. Once he said he was hungover, I should have said stop. They were very busy. Klaidas could see that the mechanic wasn't feeling good and he also knew he was hungover. So his proposal was to have the mechanic take a break, and I should go for a walk so I'm not in the mechanics way. As I was leaving, Klaidas told the hungover mechanic to go on a break and had a new mechanic finishing up my van. the mechanic admitted to me that "this is the first installation of these types of horns that he's ever done and he was trying to wrap his head around it." So now he's hungover AND doesn't know what he's doing. But he was trudging on and I respect that. Matt came out and tried to get him to stop working on my van, mid job so they could focus on the rentals going out tomorrow. I told him when I made the appointment I told them that I am leaving tomorrow to go out of town so today (Thursday) was the last day I could do it. They told me to come in on Thursday and they will get it done. So he let the mechanic keep working. At this point the poor hungover mechanic really wasn't feeling well and had to leave to go home. Klaidas told me that the other mechanic was going to finish it up and he started working on it. They asked me to not be in the area because there was at this point already an issue and I would have to leave and come back in 2 hours. The truth is Matt wanted me gone so he could tell the mechanic to stop working on my van. 30 minutes later I got a call from Matt and he said that he told the mechanic to wrap it up because the one mechanic that was hungover got sent home and the other mechanic I guess he was supposed to be doing something else. Not because my project . So I got a call from Matt and he said my van is parked out front they can't do it today they're not going to charge me anything. Okay cool, they're not going to charge me but now I'm going on my trip with my horn half hooked up and the job not complete. So when he gave me my keys he said come back tomorrow. I said I can't. As I was leaving, I told him that I regretted the good review I gave them when they put my awning on. Matt told me that if I did he would charge my CC for one hour of labor for todayr. I said you don't have my card. He said yes we do with a very childish smirk. Bottom line is that unfortunate because Klaidas is running as great shop. Matt... Not as I much. read more
