Bottom line up front, I brought my camper in for a consignment sale to be sold on Travelcamp's lot,…read moreduring which time it was damaged and Travelcamp said it was unable to be repaired due to a lack of repair supplies at their dealership. This entire process took over 8 months of dealing with 4 different managers who often did not return my calls or texts, and placed the burden of coordination within their company and corporate office on me. I brought my camper here and entered into a 90 consignment deal to sell it at Travelcamp. After the 90 days were up, I called to arrange a pickup of my camper so that I could bring it to another dealership to sell since it hadn't sold at Travelcamp. I tried for over a week to get in touch with a consignment sales representative to arrange the pickup but nobody answered, so after a week, I showed up to Travelcamp to pick up my travel trailer. When I arrived, the camper was brought to the front of the lot, and I discovered that a window in the camper had been left open for a period of time which allowed the camper to flood on the inside due to rain storms, causing significant water damage to the inside of the camper. I initially complained about this to the manager about the damage to which he replied that he would have the unit detailed. I told him that wasn't enough and that the water damage inside the camper needed to be repaired, and not simply detailed. He then told me that he didn't "know what to do" and that I would have to take the issue up with the corporate office. I attempted to call the corporate office over 50 times over the following 5 days and never received a response either by phone, email, or text. I left a message on every single call. Additionally I placed at least another 10 calls to the consignment sales team at Travelcamp as well as to the manager that originally signed my consignment sales contract, and still did not receive an answer. About a week after my initial calls, a member from the corporate office returned my calls and said that they couldn't help me, but that another corporate representative would be reaching out to me. I received a call from an individual the next day and they told me that my camper would be repaired on Travelcamp's dime, and that my original consignment manager would be the leading point of contact for all business going forward. Fast forward approximately 3 months: In dealing with the Travelcamp repair center, I was told by the initial manager that I dealt with 3 months after the initial discovery of the water damage inside, that my camper was "repaired" and that "it [was] in better shape than when I brought it in" for its original sale. Additionally as a gesture of good faith, Travelcamp offered to pay for an independent RV inspector to come and inspect the repair job. After the inspection technician and I had inspected the unit, we found an attempted repair job to the camper where an 8"x8" square had been cut out of the wall and then a patch job was attempted where a random piece of material was sloppily glued on top of the existing wall. Additionally, there was white fuzzy material still growing out of the floor of the camper which I presumed to be a result of the previous water damage, and shrunken and rotted wall paneling where water had been soaked up into the side wall of the inside of the camper. I expressed to the service department that the repair job was unacceptable and they told me that due to material shortages, that they would not be able to do anything else for me or perform any further repair job. I told them that they needed to purchase the camper to make it right if it couldn't be repaired. Once again I was told that I would have to deal with the corporate office and that nothing could be done for me at the local dealership. Additionally, the managers tried several times to get me to use my personal insurance to make a claim against the camper to have the damage fixed; a suggestion that I refused multiple times because I didn't want to raise my personal insurance rates for damage caused by Travelcamp. Fast forward another month, and I finally got a meeting with the corporate office sales representative, who was the only positive point of contact from this entire experience. I told him the entire story, 8 months start to finish with this consignment deal, the damage done to the unit, and the botched repair job for which he apologized and bought the camper from me. This is a very brief overview of my experience with Travelcamp. I will not be returning as a customer.

Everywhere I went it seemed like the sales staff was in a hurry and they had a "here's the price if you want it or not" attitude. Then I met Ed at Creative RV & Bus sales. Ed took the time to explain where the industry is at and where it's going. He also took the time to get to know me and show me what inventory he had on the lot. Even though it was close to closing time, Ed stuck with me well past 5 o'clock to answer any questions. My girlfriend and I decided to purchase a 2016 model Saber that was new on the lot. Ed pointed out the amenities, upgrades and assured me of the quality of the RV. I agreed this model was better built than most since I had looked at just about everything in Jacksonville. We made a deal and took the RV home in late October 2017. We absolutely love it.! The RV has had the initial "break in" uses and had a few minor issues (like all new RV's) that needed attention. Creative's service man is named Kieth and he is great. Kieth walked through the RV with me as I pointed out the couple of minor issues. Kieth even asked about certain other items and how they were working for me. Kieth is a knowledgeable asset to Creative and easy to talk to. We are happy with the sales/service at Creative and will be back when it's time to upgrade.!!!

Service Manager ways 'waiting for approval' to make the repair! Had to call California to get repairs made after repeated attempts to contact service here in Jax. That apparently pissed the service manager off! Next issue required Six (6) contact attempts with ZERO response on my request for serial numbers on those condenser units because of a recall which incidentally Creative has STILL has not been disclosed to me as of this writing. I received a letter from Trans Air regarding the recall! Sent photos of the label containing the information I needed. Service Manager said tech could not locate the label on the condenser. SERIOUSLY??? The sister unit was at Coggin Ford for a PM and I asked them for the info on that unit and they had it to me in 1 hour! It took Creative 6 days and multiple requests to finally get me the info I requested! Interesting side note the Service Manager told me they would have to tear down the unit to get the serial number undoubtedly costing me big $$! Remember...it's on a label on the outside and Ford had it to me immediately! Currently waiting 9 days for a replacement window for one of our shuttles. Attempted to contact service manager 3 times IN WRITING with no response. They started out great but if there is an issue and you persist in attempts to get answers apparently she gets mad and simply refuses to communicate. Pathetic!

So, we can put our slide out when we use our RV go camping. The jacks have to be down for the slide to open. The first time we took it over there to look at the Jack's was on November 26th 2025. We took the RV out this past weekend. May 1 to the 3rd. We've had it out several times before that and the Jack's really never did work properly. This time when we started the RV the control panel was blinking off and on and making a noise and a housing of the control panel was really loose. I have made several calls into the dealer, and they have never ever returned my telephone calls. I even called and left the manager several messages and to this day he still has not called me back. On Monday morning, May 4th, I called general RVs headquarters in Michigan. They said they would put a note in try to call the dealership, but they had 48 hours to respond back to them. As of today, May 8th, I still have not received a call. I called the headquarters yesterday which was Thursday several times, and they kept telling me every time I called that they have 48 hours to respond. I asked for the supervisor and they told me they didn't have one. We have spent thousands to try to get this resolved. They even put in a new control panel and still does not work. At this point our RV is useless, because we can't use it because we can't get a slide out. I was wondering if you could reach out and help?? Cheryl
