I have dealt with Blue Compass Jax & St. Augustine--both experiences went badly. Jax damaged our new trailer when we took it in for warranty work & they didn't get the warranty repairs done after 4 separate opportunities. St. Augustine kept the trailer for two months & then accused us of stealing our own power cord that was in the storage bay when we dropped it off. Let me start by saying we bought our Jayco 5th Wheel from Blue Compass. The sales experience was great and my wife and I were both very happy with our choice to purchase from them. Service is a completely different matter. We dropped off our 5th Wheel for a scheduled service appointment on Sept 8th. It needed a slide seal and a slide topper replaced. 8 Weeks later it still had not been touched. Blue Compass never contacted us and whenever we called asking for a status update were provided excuses as to why they were not working on it. Mind you, this was probably less then 4 hours to complete both requests. The day I picked it back up they offered a 10% discount off the parts price, but at that point they still had not identified the specific parts required or the estimated cost. This is our second (and last) service experience with Blue Compass of Jax. Both times, they never communicated with us and there just seemed to be no urgency in getting the work completed. read more

I know this is a long review but I want to save you some time and money. Don't take your RV for maintenance or repair work to Blue Compass on Friendship Rd, Buford. The only good thing I can say about the service department is that they are friendly. Unfortunately they are also incompetent. We bought a Dynamax DX3 in Oct 2024. Not from Blue Compass, from a dealer in Texas. In September of 2025 we talked to the service department about getting warranty work done in Oct before the warranty was up. We gave them a list of 7 things that needed fixing and told them we would be out of the country for 2 weeks in Oct and we would bring the RV in to get the work done then. We talked to them several times before dropping off the RV and then went over the list again. Also, a trucker had backed into us in a gas station and dented one of the back side panels ( not warranty work) and we wanted that fixed. So, 2 weeks later we go to pick up the RV and none of the warranty work is done but the back panel is fixed. It took Dynamax 5 months to approve the warranty work! 5 months!! So after the warranty work is all approved and Blue Compass gets the parts we take the RV back in to get it all replaced. They said 3 or 4 hours to get the work done. We had added 2 new problems that came up (after the warranty had expired of course), a leak in one of the slideouts and a leak in the plumbing under the sink. It took 2 days (not 3 or 4 hours) and when we go to pick up the RV (after several conversations with the service department over the past couple of months I had realized that they were pretty incompetent) I started to go over the list of things that were supposed to be fixed and find out 1 of the items was denied by Dynamax and they did not bother to tell us that. (My husband took care of that problem by talking directly to the manufacture of the tire monitor). And another item to be fixed (broken ice maker) was not even addressed. They told us that they would get an ice maker in the next couple of days and contact us. It's been over a month and we have not heard from them. As for the 2 items we asked them to fix not under warranty, $500 later, the slide still leaked and they left a purple circle on the floor in front of the sink that will not clean up. read more

I bought my 2023 Jayco Precept 34G motorhome from Blue Compass in Jacksonville, FL in November of 2023. I brought it into the dealership in August of 2025 for several warranty repairs. They had it on site for over 2 months and did nothing. They lied to me on several occasions, saying Jayco required additional information or pictures. The dealership apparently never sent in the warranty requests until after the warranty had expired in November of 2025. Every item on my list should have been covered by warranty. Since it was the dealership that failed to obtain authorization for the repairs, I expect them to make all the repairs at their expense. I have been getting a "run-around"; they even expected me to use my insurance for part of what was covered by warranty. I should not be liable for their incompetence! read more

We are full time RV'rs and we purchased a 2025 Jayco Eagle fifth wheel from Blue Compass RV Jacksonville, FL in August 2025. After the purchase and delivery the main A/C unit stopped working within the first few days. We communicated the issue numerous times with the service manager and the service representative. The rep was incredibly rude and had very little to no customer service skills. The service manager eventually got a new A/C ordered and installed but it took 2 months to have warranty work completed. After living in the RV for several months, we noticed a leak in the shower area and a squeaking in the flooring around bathroom area out into hallway. We scheduled a pick up 2 month out as well as made arrangements for our life and living accommodations. Had RV delivered on scheduled date (Feb 9, 2026). We called service manager and discussed every single issue as well as had him read the list back to us. The service manger told us that the warranty work should take only 1-2 weeks for diagnostic and approval from the manufacturer. My wife and I went on a missions trip to Costa Rica departing a few days after original team left because of scheduled delivery of RV to Blue Compass RV. Upon arrival back to the US we contacted service manager to which we were told that our RV had not even been looked at yet. He further stated there was some sort of que process that we had been waiting for. Our understanding is once we made the appointment 2 months out mind you that our RV would have been diagnosed but it was not. Their customer service and process desperately needs to be overhauled. read more

This review is for the Blue Compass Jacksonville store. Took my Airstream there with an APPOINTMENT for service in September (I purchased the trailer in Tampa, which is an excellent facility, but decided to try Jacksonville as it's much closer to home). Told the service manager, "I'm not in a rush." That was a mistake. I finally retrieved my trailer last week (December) after lots of back and forth about "not in a rush doesn't mean take three months!" In the end, they did repairs I needed done, which I appreciate, but other routine checks (part of the Gold package - another mistake) were not concluded properly. Examples: The LP leak check ended, but both tanks were still on service and the water heater was left on. The grey and black tank leak checks were done but the tanks were left full - almost 500 pounds of unnecessary waste water in the unit. Someone unpacked my upper cabinet and took out a pillow and a package of toilet paper, and the dinette table was raised. Why? Was someone napping or camping in my unit? Simply not a professional experience. I hope they dedicate themselves to improving - the problems I've listed above are not difficult to address. But for now, the claim that they're a "FIVE RIVET" dealership is laughable. read more

I asked the Blue Compass finance manager about the grey tank they never emptied after they delivered the RV we purchased to us, but said they would empty it as part of the pre-delivery process. When I inquired about it, see the text, they said I could trailer the RV on my time and gas expense to have the tanks emptied they never emptied. I let them know that was unsatisfactory and didn't keep the customer whole. The store manager called me the next day. He was inappropriately rude, aggressively trying to intimidate me to not write me review. Then the Blue Compass regional president called me because I asked to speak with the owner. Then regional president James proceeded to lecture me for 5 minutes after he asked me what the problem was. I explained that I informed the store manager if your company is not going to do what they said I will just write a complaint letter to the CEO and Yelp etc... so other consumers are informed when doing business with them. Blue Compass doesn't like that customers will actually write opinions about experiences with them . I wonder why!!! They all need some customer service training for sure. A Very "man-splanning" culture represented by both calls from the store & regional President. Could have been a rocking review buttttt some folks egos need checking at Blue Compass. read more
