I watched a few more helpful repair videos from Coleman and when they showed which tools were necessary for the repair of this bed bow, I realized I had two problems - . I didn't have the budget for the tools necessary to make said repairs, the space, and the time. I consulted Yelp for RV repair. There were several factors that lead me to choose Robert Schmid at En Route RV repair 1. He is by far the cheapest mobile RV repair businesses 2. He answered me first 3. He answered all my questions. 4. He asked great questions 5. He was receptive to me sending him the Coleman videos for reference 6. The other businesses I reached out to, were unavailable and referred me elsewhere or got back to me a few days later 7. I set up an appointment on a Saturday for Robert to come out to me on Monday (he does offer weekend repair, but it's more expensive and with my situation, I could wait) Monday came around and Robert showed up exactly when he said he would. He was accompanied by his daughter/assistant, Baylee, who was super helpful and a great conversationalist. Robert and I talked about the exact problem, he had the correct tools to get the job done, and he used the repair part I purchased from Coleman. Robert also let me observe his process (fixing things always interests me) and I learned a few things about my pop up in the process. Robert also made sure the functioning of the bed bow was correct after he made the repair. Because his price includes an hour of work, and the fix he did for me, was less than 60 minutes, he also talked to me about a few other details re: other repairs and maintenance about my pop-up that I was concerned about. Now, I have a plan of action for the other bits and pieces I need to manage re: using my pop-up. After Robert's visit/repair/consultation, I feel more confident about taking care of my pop-up in general and I was super satisfied with the repair that Robert made by the time he finished. His work is careful, attentive and smart. Robert also informed me that if I am out of town and run into trouble with my pop-up, he will travel. It may cost more due to distance, but sometimes that doesn't matter if you really need help. I highly recommend En Route RV Repair. The value is there, the workmanship is there and the punctuality is there, too. These days, it's more like a three week book out, which must mean business is good. For this particular visit, we had several mileage maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. We were given a list by the Ford Dealership, and we brought that in for a quote with Cedar Crest Tire. The Ford Dealership also noted that we had evidence of an engine oil leak. I made the appointment at the beginning of July, and I got in on July 20th. They have a key drop box that we were able to use and leave the vehicle there the weekend prior. I got a call on Tuesday afternoon that my vehicle was ready for pick up. On my way into town, I swung by to pay the bill and get the key. I know that they have a ride service available, but I hoped by daughter would help me with the ride. We looked over the invoice and didn't see anything addressing the engine oil leak. He got a hold of the technician, and he said there was no evidence of a leak. Before bringing in the vehicle, I did call back to add an emissions service to the list of items, and that one was overlooked, but I wasn't billed for it either. I feel like my correspondence with them have always been professional, and my vehicles have always been repaired.

We filed the claim with our insurance, and this shop called the next day to schedule an appointment. The appointment was about a week out, which was okay, the vehicle was still operable. When we arrived to our appointment, we checked in at the front desk. We had to sign some paperwork and hand over the keys. One of their associates came out to the vehicle, marked the damage, and also marked previous damage. We signed some more paperwork and we were on our way. We got a call a week later from them. He explained in great detail the damage that had occurred, and they hit a point where the insurance told them to not go any further. The insurance called the vehicle a total loss. The next day we came to clean out the belongings and remove the license plate. The second experience was very similar to the third. For our first experience, we also used this recommended shop from our insurance. This job was some fender work that they fixed up and it looked like new. The crew here are extremely friendly and highly knowledgeable with what they are doing. It's no wonder it's my insurance's recommended shop.
