I am now working on delivery date #5 for a large Ikea order. Everytime I get a recorded message the night before with the delivery window and I schedule someone to be at the client's house to receive the delivery and it never comes. I wrote an earlier review about nondelivery #3 and Bryan B responded below the review on Yelp asking for more information which I sent and I received nothing back and it obviously made no difference as, again, nothing was delivered on the scheduled date. First it was that the paperwork was late and then it did not get on the truck because the truck was full and then it was a "hub" problem. I did not even ask the "resolution specialist" last time. It's been weeks and I have nothing! Ikea refunded me the delivery fee and now I'm just praying that it comes this week on the scheduled date. This has been just awful. read more

I don't understand how RXO is allowed to exist and not go out of business. I have been trying to get my items since December 22 and on Jan 6th I called Samsung to talk to RXO. The Samsung rep mentioned that RXO had 3 business days to give a delivery date. I called RXO on Jan 11th as it has been more than 3 business days and there still wasn't a delivery date set up. The resolution specialist contacted my local warehouse and a few hours later I was called to schedule a delivery date which ended up being Jan 13th today. Something told me to check the tracking app to see if the time had been updated but I saw nothing. When I saw no time window, I immediately called RXO but was told that RXO would no longer honor today's delivery date and that the next date would be next week Jan 17th. At this point I don't trust I will ever get my items. I spent nearly $4k USD on the items and I've had enough of being lied to and hung up on. Worst company on the planet! read more

I ordered a mattress from Wayfair and RXO was the delivery service that is being utilized. I was able to get a delivery scheduled for 12/31/2024 and the night before 12/30/2024, received a text that the delivery could not be completed as planned for 12/31. The next soonest date is 2/11/2025. Upset, I called RXO and they sent a message to the local hub regarding my order. I did receive a call back (which I missed) but the individual left a voicemail indicating that a January 3rd or January 4th delivery could be done. I called back the number that the individual left in the voicemail but just got routed to their normal number. The person I spoke to said that they would send an email to the local hub (because apparently emailing is faster than a phone call???) saying that we approved the January 3rd delivery, and it would be scheduled. On January 2nd in the late evening, I still had not received a call as to when the item was going to be delivered the following day. I called customer service and shocker; our delivery was not scheduled for January 3rd. Contacted customer service yet again and told they could do a February 18th delivery, but they would send YET ANOTHER EMAIL to the local hub. As of today 1/6, I still have not gotten word regarding my order or a sooner delivery. At this point, the item has been sitting in their warehouse since 12/20. Absolutely unacceptable and will NOT be using their delivery services again. read more

I scheduled an IKEA delivery two weeks ago to be delivered while I was home on spring break (I am a public school teacher). They texted me in the morning stating that my delivery was on its way and the window was 2-6pm. At around 7:30 I finally called them and was told that they had my order but hadn't scheduled anyone to bring it to me. Now I've had to reschedule with IKEA for a week when I won't even be home and have to figure out how to make that work. It's extremely frustrating because I specifically chose yesterday because I would be home. read more

The RXO delivery guys were on time within the window, they kept me posted via email and text about the date, then the time window. They promised to call 30 minutes before they arrived -- which they did. They brought it into the house -- as promised. All that in about 2 minutes! THey were careful to lift the appliance and set it down so as not to risk scratching the floors. Wonderful service - great attitude. Nice job! read more

I wrote a previous post on 7/5 with 1 star. This is an update to that one. Since I wrote the negative post the other day, RXO has gone out of their way making sure they are doing everything to correct the situation of the missed delivery and false statements. I give them kudos for that. I have 2 people contacting me via email and text letting me know the delivery is scheduled and the appliances are ready to go. I just got my delivery. However, there is no refrigerator. The delivery people were very nice and professional which is why I'm upping my rating to 2 stars. I felt bad for them having to show up missing my refrigerator. As far as RXO as a whole, 1 or 0 stars. Remember those 2 people I mentioned earlier that promised me a smooth delivery of all 4 appliances. They said they would be monitoring this delivery at the highest level to insure it goes smoothly. That didn't happen. Somebody changed my work order THIS MORNING to only include 3 appliances. When I called about it the person said they are not allowed to do that. Well, somebody did. On my Samsung.com account the tracking shows the refrigerator sitting at the warehouse when it should be at my house. This company doesn't seem to know what they are doing. They make promises they don't keep. Someone is lying, either customer service to me or the warehouse to customer service, or both. Their auto text update system sent me a msg after my delivery and said all 4 appliances were delivered, which wasn't true. I personally think their processes and auto notifications are a mess. After all, why send out false updates. All it will do is upset the customers more. They seem to have a lot of work to do based on my experience and many of these reviews. Who knows when I will get my refrigerator. If I don't get it soon I will cancel my order and have them pick up all these appliances they delivered. read more

Can I do 0 stars? This company has some shady people working for them. I ordered a washing machine through Lowe's. It wasn't working and they sent a replacement. The replacement came and the delivery driver Alex Ornate from XPO told me that the washing machine was broken and he couldn't bring it upstairs. Yes I have a 3 story townhome and it seemed weird that he knew it was already broken. Nevertheless I finally did get another new machine but this new driver told Me that this Alex guy bragged that he wasn't bringing the washing machine up 3 floors. Horrible. If you're a delivery driver that is what you're supposed to do. How do you LIE to the customer that something is wrong with the washer so you won't bring it up? Smh. Anyways the 1 star is for the third delivery driver because they brought it up without damaging anything. Did I mention the First XPO driver damaged my wall? Yea. Have been without a refrigerator for weeks and was supposed to get new Samsung fridge delivered yesterday between 4 and 8 pm by RXO. I received emails and texts saying they would deliver between 4 and 8 pm and they would contact me 30 minutes prior to arrival. Was home that while time . No contact. No text. No email. Called RXO last night immediately at 8:01 asking what was up. They said the delivery people tried to deliver and claimed no one.was at home. Not true. Said I would be contacted this morning with a new delivery time. I just called RXO , and rep just told me they took a picture of my front door to prove I wasn't home(???) and told me she couldn't even give me an estimate of when I might have delivery of fridge rescheduled. Most Kafkaesque experience EVAR. Twice now RXO has been scheduled to make a pickup, and both times the driver SAID they'd called me to make sure I was home without an answer and skipped the pickup. But both times I was home, with my phone on and sitting next to me the whole time, and nobody called. Moreover, I was supposed to get an automated call the day before with the time window, but did not. So clearly there is something wrong with their phone system. When I called to see if they could figure out some way to MAKE SURE the next pickup actually happened, the (very friendly) CS tech said they'd put notes in the order that I "wanted" them to do exactly the thing that is supposed to happen automatically, which is great, but is also not very reassuring, given that that is how the system is supposed to work in the first place? I'm fairly certain that the next pickup will go exactly as the last two did, and I'll have to do this all over again. read more

I ordered a Peleton bike and was scheduled for delivery and setup by RXO on 12/9 between 1:30 and 4:30 pm with a 30-minute call ahead. At 4:17, I had not received a call, nor had anyone shown up. I phoned their customer service number and was told they tried to deliver, but no one was home. Liars! My husband and I were home all day. To make matters worse, they emailed and left on my voicemail the day prior confirming the scheduled delivery time. Why are companies using this trash service, are they cheaper? If so, they probably aren't the type of people you want inside your home. read more

Update (12/6): After several escalations and inquiries, a 3rd date/time was established for 12/6 with a specific delivery window. However, the time slot was removed in the morning from the tracking page even though it still shows scheduled to be delivered on 12/6. But, according to their so called resolution team, my couch will once again not be delivered today and has been removed from their route. This is the final straw and I am no longer wasting any more time with this incompetent company. If RXO is the shipping partner for your order, CANCEL IMMEDIATELY. My original review has disappeared. Here it is again along with an update. I received an e-mail last week that they would get me an update after responding to the fake owner. They still cannot find the shipment and keep giving me the same scripted response. I am contacting BBB, posting their horrendous customer service on Twitter and LinkedIn. I have never dealth with a company that is so horrible. I would verify that the company you are buying from does not use this company before you place an order. That never happened yesterday, called again today, the exact same story, the supervisor would call and that hasn't happened. Since the Beltsville MD hub is only 2 hours from my house, my next step is to drive there and speak to a person without a script. I am also sending messages through LinkedIn to every employee that works in Operations for RXO. Maybe they can get some real answers. Update - As per the message from Brian B., I sent the e-mail. No e-mail back and no call back. It seems like Brian B responded to most of the complaints over the last few years, with the same scripted note. DO NOT USE THIS DELIVERY SERVICE, and make sure wherever you're buying from does not use this service to deliver your product. We were expecting a delivery yesterday and was given a four-hour window with a note that we would be contacted when the delivery was 30 minutes away. With no call and 15 minutes remaining on our delivery window, I called the company's customer service 800 number. I was reassured it was still coming and the agent said she would notify the driver I was still waiting for delivery. Less than 10 minutes after I called the company, I received an updated text notification that delivery was attempted but could not be made because "customer was not home." I have been waiting at home for more than five hours and have not left; I have received no call, the doorbell did not ring, one even pulled into or near my driveway. So, I called the company back and was told that it was already back at their facility, which is an hour and a half away from my address. How did the driver get from my home back to their facility in less than 15 minutes? The delivery service did offer a bunch of excuses for why delivery was not made: my home is inaccessible due to me living in a gated community or construction in my neighborhood; neither of which is true. Now my delivery has been rescheduled to a week from now. Why? If they do not return here today - the day after their so-called attempted delivery - I am canceling my order. I will also verify my future purchases from anywhere DO NOT use RXO as its delivery company. I can't give RXO enough stars! They have restored my faith that excellent Customer Service does still exist. Nasja and Brandy from the Maryland office worked well into the late evening just to make sure I would receive my order in time, despite the fiasco Samsung caused. They both are huge assets to RXO. They truly care and take pride in their job, and it shows immensely. RXO's delivery crew was also pretty amazing-- they were careful, professional, efficient and friendly. These people don't listen. I made a purchase at IKEA. I called on 3/21 to reschedule my delivery and the date was changed to 4/6/23. On 3/22 I started to receive text messages making me aware of my 3/23 delivery. I called to cancel gain and was assured delivery would not come. Surprise they came and illegally enter my home and delivered the merchandise. I called local law enforcement. These people think they can do whatever they want to. read more

I had an order sent by Karndean flooring company in Pennsylvania. I asked them to ship to the XPO Logisitics terminal in Elkridge Md. I track the order and it says its at Jessup MD. Never got a call to say my order was at the terminal. I call XPO and they refer me to RXO saying that our order is in Beltsville MD. I confirm this info twice with XPO. My driver goes to RXO Beltsville and NOBODY IS THERE. We call RXO and are given a "receptionist" phone number with a Georgia area code....so I know this receptionist is not in Maryland. I insist I need a phone number for the warehouse in Maryland and they put me on several holds....with no new information because the call center actually has no clue about anything. They provide very basic info, and no real help. I call Karndean and they say I have to deal with XPO. XPO said they were a former partner of RXO but as of two years ago they split off and they can't help. What a nightmare. What is going on with this company?? Shortly after writing my 1 star review, RXO reached out to me and got my TV delivered within a day. Apparently there was an issue with their scheduling system where it would automatically cancel/delay my delivery the night before. I even got another cancellation for my final delivery day, but the local delivery center was able to override it. I'm not sure why this happened, but it was a frustrating experience to say the least, and it was amplified significantly by the fact that I was unable to get adequate assistance through their contact methods (phone number to a call center and an email address). I spoke to people at least 4 different times and it seems like the only way to get major issues resolved is through leaving a negative review. RXO should find a way to allow their call center to escalate issues to people that can actually do something about it instead of just apologizing and rescheduling me again. Do they not recognize that it's unusual to have 4 delayed/cancelled deliveries? I requested escalation at the call center and was not provided it. I did receive an excellent and timely response from Thomas, but I'm leaving my review at 3 stars for the difficulty in getting a resolution in the first place. read more

Very terrible delivery company. Scheduling is a mess with me calling multiple times to confirm the timing and logistics. But they never called the day before (As promised) to confirm the delivery window, and on the same day, the driver would call and tell me he is 5 minutes without prior warning (they promised to give a call 30 minutes prior to delivery, with which I would've made home). Since I was more than 5 minutes away from my house, the delivery had to be rescheduled. The driver again promised to come back at 7pm that day, only to never pick up the phone again and leave me in the dark on where my delivery went. Had to call them to reschedule for a third time, which they actually delivered. The delivery personnel was not professional at all (certainly not white glove). They refused to take off the shoes entering in the carpet area of my house (and didn't bring any shoe cover), and the whole delivery was a very bad experience. I would not believe the response from Business Owner on Yelp either since probably nothing would change after contacting them (i did multiple times). If you have the choice, please stay away from this company. read more

TERRIBLE COMPANY! I ordered a washer dryer from LG and RXO was supposed to deliver and install on 12/12. They delivered but never sent someone to install. I rescheduled for 12/22, 12/29, 1/4, 1/7, and 1/9 and my unit is still not installed because RXO keeps cancelling with no explanation. RXO canceled that day with no reason. Finally found out the washer and dryer were damaged. Why not bring the other 4 appliances? Ok, get over it... rescheduled for 12/27 with a plea to them to bring the 4 appliances if the W/D was not ready. Cancelled on 12/27 by RXO with no reason. Call to RXO, the last item just arrived and we need to reschedule. New schedule 12/31. Cancelled on 12/31 by RXO with no reason. Call to RXO, the last item just arrived and we need to reschedule. New schedule 1/7. Cancelled 1/7 with no reason. Call to RXO, the last item just arrived. I call B*LLS**T! Rescheduled now for 1/13 showing 6 items, but LG's reorder email for the W/D shows not available for delivery until 1/14. Can you guess what will happen on 1/13? I put a dispute in with American Express and now LG's $8k is being held. The only way I know to get what I paid for. Still not sure that will solve it. RXO = Really Xed up Operations. I bought a new LG dryer and delivery and installation were supposed to be done by RXO. On 12/22 two employees came to deliver the dryer. That removed the old one, but couldn't complete the installation because they didn't have the right power cord. The gentleman told me he'll come back next day to finish the installation. Guess what ? No one ever came back. I now have a brand new dryer that I can't use because it doesn't have a power cord and I have absolutely no idea when/if someone is coming back to finish the installation I paid for.... read more

RXO is one of the most unprofessional, least customer-friendly companies I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I had to order a washer a few days before Christmas because my old one dropped dead. I ordered directly from LG because the price was a little lower and advertised delivery date a little earlier than Lowe's or Home Depot. Little did I know I would have to deal with this nightmare organization. 1. They pushed back the promised delivery date four separate times with no explanation 2. Each time a delivery was scheduled or rescheduled, they tell you someone will call with an expected delivery window. This never happens. 3. Their only customer service is a call center in the Philippines. The Filipino/a folks on the other end are perfectly nice and speak passable English, but they have no real ability to help and no access to real information. 4. There is no way to connect directly to the warehouse, which I assumed would at least be able to tell me if they had the washer or not. 5. When we finally got the washer delivered, the "installer" basically plugged the machine in and left. He did not check that the washer was level, he left the cords and hoses a tangled mess, and to top it of he inserted the drain hose incorrectly so that water dumped out into our utility closet when we ran the machine. 6. When we tried to reschedule someone to come back to do a proper job installing the washer, they scheduled it for January 12 (a full week after the delivery and garbage installation). And then they just ghosted us. I got a text 17 minutes after the start of the delivery window telling me "It is time to schedule your LG Electronics service." I later checked the original confirmation link and they had added a note that "the customer was not home." This is a complete lie. In short, if you find you have to deal with RXO to receive a product, add at least a few weeks to the expected date of receipt, as well as immeasurable amounts of aggravation and anxiety. If you need the product urgently for some reason, just cancel the order and find another way to get it. In all seriousness, this company should be investigated for abusive and deceptive practices. (Consider this a 1-star review for LG customer service as well. They were atrocious and did not get the washer to RXO on time; so not every aspect of my bad experience was RXO's fault.) read more

XPO Logistics were assigned to deliver my package to me. They called 8 times with a scheduled appointment time and every time they did not show up. I called three times and each time I was assured my package would be delivered at the scheduled time. This is by far the worst delivery service that I had to deal with. I hardly write negative reviews for companies, because I don't want to single out the entire company when it could be one or two employees. This is not the case for this company. read more

This company has these absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The delivery guys showed up on 10/10/2022 and stated that they "forgot" to load my items on the truck. They assured me that they'd go back to the warehouse to pick it up and bring it back later that day. Then I received notification from the vendor that it had been rescheduled to 10/13/2022. I asked if I could pick it up since the warehouse was 25 minutes away from my home and literally have been trapped in a round and round of back and forth with them since. I can't get delivery and they won't let me pick up either. They keep saying the vendor has to approve it and the vendor says it has nothing to do with then. Then they'll tell me that they'll expedite delivery since I made a stink about the fact that it was originally failed due to carrier carelessness. Literally keep getting hung up on by their "Resolution Specialists" without any assistance. I will be lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Absolutely horrible company and do not recommend. I'll do my best to ensure the vendor cuts ties with this carrier once I speak with corporate customer service. read more

How can I give zero stars? Was supposed to get a washer and dryer delivered via Lowes and it did not get delivered. The delivery guy called me 3 hours before my already 4 hour long delivery window and said he wanted to deliver it early. I have a job and was at work two hours away so I told him I couldnt get there early. He then told me that he wasnt going to deliver my appliances that day because he didnt want to wait to deliver them and I'd have to reschedule. When I called rxo to complain they couldnt locate my delivery by phone number, email, or name. Someone finally called me 6 hours later to tell me I'd have to reschedule my delivery because the delivery truck that was supposed to deliver to me broke down right around the time my actual delivery window was. What convenient timing! So not only can they not deliver as scheduled with no reasonable explanation, they have awful and delayed customer service, and managers are making up excuses for their drivers not wanting to do their jobs. If Lowes continues to use this garbage company for deliveries I guess I'll buy all my things from Home Depot from here on. We'll see how long it takes to get my appliances, if ever. read more

service is absolutely poor. scheduled ikea delivery , informed them that they could not access the driveway in a truck due to it being steep. when they got to the house they attempted to utilize the driveway leaving a gouge. I told them to leave the items at the driveway entrance, instead they began taking pictures of my home and then drove away. after contacting customer service I was informed that they did not have the drivers number to tell them to deliver my items. I was then called back and told that they had an issue because the driveway was too steep , the girl on the phone somehow could not compute my frustration. point blank they didn't want to complete the offloading so they just drove away. read more

(my location says SF area, but not accurate; I'm in Washington DC area) Add another terrible experience to the chorus of bad experiences here. Ordered two ikea dressers in two separate orders. Got notification the first one was out for delivery on the scheduled date, then I get notification that the driver was unable to make the delivery despite my being home all day. The next day the other one is out for delivery, and I get the same exact delivery failure notification, for no clear reason, given I was home all day, and never saw a truck come by, so unclear why they couldn't make the delivery, despite the package allegedly being on the truck that day. I called ikea to get it rescheduled (why it can't be automatically rescheduled and redelivered the next day is unclear, given it's doorstep delivery and doesn't require anyone home) -- the next available delivery date was over a week away. Seems unreasonable, but fine. Both dressers rescheduled. The delivery day comes, I get two separate notifications that both dressers have been delivered. I check outside my doorstep, and only one is there. The driver must have made a mistake and only left one. I called Ikea, they confirmed with XPO (which turned out to be RXO) that the package was mistakenly not delivered. Ikea tells me to "keep my phone line open" as the delivery service said they would call me ASAP to set up a new delivery time for the missing dresser. I hear nothing. The next day I decide to call up XPO (which was listed by Ikea as the delivery company). XPO says, no, not them, and gives me a number to RXO. I call that number. The person at that number says, no, they can't help me, and gives me another number to call. I call a third number and this person (who I guess is affiliated with RXO? Unclear) says she can help but basically says "I'll make a ticket for you and someone will call you." I ask when. She says she doesn't want to set expectations, but probably within 24-72 hours. Given prior experience, I'm seems not unreasonable to suspect that this "ticket" is going to get lost in the ether, no one will contact me, and I will have to call again and beg and plead to speak with someone who can actually give me a confirmed delivery time, because NO ONE will do it. I wonder if it they just flat out lost the package. This company needs to get its act together. Awful experience. read more

If I could give this company a 0 I would. I echo every single one of the complaints of the previous comments. The disrespect that is shown to the customer by sending notice of an upcoming shipment that never shows, over and over again, is appalling. I had to take off work 3 days over a course of 2 1/2 weeks for shipment from IKEA that never arrived. No communication to the otherwise, In fact, every time you call them to find out what is going on it sounds like they are just fooling around in the office, smoking something. They don't care about the customer at all. My questioning resulted in responses that it was not given a location, in other words, lost in warehouse, but finally located, then lost again, etc. etc. but no one calls to let you know... ANYTHING! I finally cancelled my order with IKEA online (must be so bad they aren't answering their phone on these issues), filed a dispute with my CC company and will do my best to make sure this company loses it's contract with IKEA.
