The office and the entire center is very clean and well kept. The individual at the front desk was extremely courteous and made me feel welcomed right away. The lady assistant introduced herself and told me she had worked for the doctor for 30 years. That in itself was impressive and gave me the feeling that this must be a pleasant atmosphere in which to be a part. She explained what they would be doing, step by step. She made me feel like family and set me at ease right away. The doctor then entered, introduced himself, and visited a moment before beginning the exam. The place was extremely upscale and all his staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Trettenero was very pleasant, friendly, and made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. He then asked the assistant to get the X-rays needed. This office was equipped with what seemed to be the most updated technology necessary for any situation. The X-ray machine was amazing, like nothing I had ever seen. It only took moments and we were done, back into the room for review. Dr. Trettenero sat with me, explaining what we saw on the monitor. There were 3-dimensional rotating views, and views showing layers of each upper and lower. And all turned out better than I imagined. No cavities, I just needed an adjustment to align my bite. Afterward, Dr. Trettenero cleaned my teeth and said all looked good, I'd been doing a good job. He was very gentle while doing the work, and cleaning was the easiest I ever experienced, anywhere. They were calling to ask if I could stop in to talk to Dr. S, about my bad tooth. About an hour later they called again to Ask to ask if I could come in 15 mins earlier that the the agreeded upon 4:15. I say of course. I had errands to run by but I did I had 1 important errand to run. I arrived about 3:55pm and the office was totally full of ppl waiting. But hey, it was only a short talk, right? I had to pick up my husband heart Medication by 5:00 pm. I waited an hour and it was now 4:50 and I heard doctor walk into another persons room. When that happened I knew I had to leave and I was really upset. I could have run out and picked up the medicine and return to "The Waiting Line" and talked to the dr. I was upset and just left. I called the next day to schedule an actual appointment, and was told by the same person who asked me to come in earlier for a quick talk -I was told that she'd ask the dr if I could schedule one and hung up on me. I called back later and told her I was ready to have tooth pulled and an implant. He took my apt. I was alsso told that if I ever leave an apt or reschedule another apt. Plus she told me that I had to pay for "The Visit" I left b4. I didn't have an apt, it was suppose to b in and out talk. Right! Question: what would u do? My time is just as important to me as his is to hIm. I really liked him and I miss him. HOW LONG DO YOU WAIT? How about not scheduling 6 months ahead of time. Other things happen during a 6 month period. I had to reschedule 1 apt a few weeks b4 as my car wouldn't start. New battery put in that night.

There are three dentists, 2 parents and their son, so it's clearly a local business. Too many offices in Fort Myers have multiple locations, may be owned out-of-state, and you receive your bill from someplace in Indiana. The dentist I dealt with was excellent, knowledgeable & caring, as was the hygienist. I highly recommend this place.

My general dentist referred me to Dr Ryan Taylor for a deep pocket gum issue I had following a root…read morecanal on my molar. I was presented with several options, which included laser gum treatment with a filler of bone graft. After weighing pros and cons, I opted for extraction of the molar with an eventual implant. The decision to extract and implant was in my view, solving the problem for life....if there such a thing. Pre op and post op I was treated with care and concern. Dr Taylor is personable as is his wonderful staff. Every effort was put forth to make me comfortable and at ease. The extraction went great, I healed beautifully, and I didn't need the medication for pain relief, although I may be in the minority. After several months, it was time for the implant. This time I went in with even more ease knowing I was in good hands recalling how smoothly the extraction went. I was shown the implant, the procedure was explained, and I asked questions which may have sounded a bit silly, but they were answered with concern and respect. Following both procedures, the office made a phone call to my home that evening to ask how I was doing. I was happy to report that all was well and that after a few hours of rest I was up and about with my regular routine. The literature and post op instructions were easy to understand and follow. If there is such a thing.........I had a great experience undergoing an unpleasant procedure! I would recommend Dr Ryan Taylor and his staff to anyone without hesitation!

At our follow up he was so personable and made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone. However, the office staff ruins the experience. When I called to ask about an appt and insurance the woman on the phone acted like she had zero interest in assisting. When I asked if they could verify our insurance she said she would need to schedule us first and then she would call back "soon." I waited 2 weeks and ended up cancelling because no one called. My hub's periodontal situation took a turn and I had no choice but to call in and reschedule due to other periodontists having full schedules. When I explained why I cancelled, I was rushed through the process and my concerns were never spoken of. I also brought that up when we arrived at the office and was brushed off again. Your front office is your patient's first experience, and therefore shouldn't be taken lightly.
